"Here's hoping you're not sleeping with a prune by the end of the week." Van said, reluctantly letting go for now knowing he couldn't hide out in their room in shame until then.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I love you, Van. I would not be any less satisfied even if you do age so much then." Mala assured Van, trying to cheer him up.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Just letting you not to count on me keeping it up, much less staying awake through it if I do get that old." Van half-joked as he went downstairs to make breakfast, not that his heart was really in it now.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"You seriously need more confidence in yourself." Mala replied, walking along side Van now. "Whatever happened to that vain Van I knew so long ago?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"That Van was a god that never had to worry about growing old and dying." Van said.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I don't think I've been clear enough." Mala sighed before elaborate, "Godhood. Doesn't. Matter. You. Are. You. That's. What. Matters."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Mala, you've been immortal long enough now to have forgotten all those worries about age. We don't know if I'm going to age normally, or if my body's going to be a dried up skeleton by tomorrow. I think I have all the right in the world to be scared right now."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"If it seems like you are aging too rapidly, maybe I could try making a soul bond or something so that neither one of us can really die unless one or the other is slain." Mala suggested, hoping that might help.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I thought those things worked more along the lines of 'share all wounds and pain and if one kicks the bucket, the other goes with'?" Van said, finding that far less desirable. Especially come childbirth.

((I had to add the last part in purely for the lulz. XD ))

{It brought lulz indeed. XD}

"Yes, but it would still have a chance of keeping you with us long enough to get you to the fountain." Mala said with a small frown.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Mala, if I die before then, you'll be coming with me, you know that, right? Both you and the baby." Van said sternly, making sure she knew what she was getting into.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"What other option is there, then?" Mala asked softly, looking incredibly concerned. "I just...I just can't stand the thought of losing you - especially not now."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

((*smacks mind for being cruel* I just thought of something so mean, and I don't mean in the 'malicious authors putting their chars through ridiculous/devious crap for the lulz' sense I mean in the 'you heartless b*****d, how could you do that?!' sense. A thought that I would never ask to happen unless we were going to end the rp in the most tragic way possible.
That being Mala dying in childbirth and taking Van with her due to the soul bond...
*sends mind to time out corner for even coming up with it* TT^TT))

"I just want you to understand what risks you'd be taking." Van said with a slightly frustrated sigh. He never wanted to imagine they'd have to risk Mala's life and their baby's to save himself.

{It's a good literary idea, but I don't honestly like the idea of ending their tale so miserably. >.<}

"I just want you to understand everything will be just fine if you just trust me on this." Mala replied softly and fluently. She would not be giving up on this any time soon.

((I know, I don't plan on killing anyone (that we care about) any time soon either. >.< Not without an a**-pull to bring them back.))

"...Fine..." Van said with a reluctant sigh as he ran a hand through his hair. They didn't have any better options at the moment.
