The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Really? It didn't seem that way this morning." He jested. "But on a more serious note, if we control all of the media, which we do, who were those guys this morning working for?"

"Obviously a group of nosy good-for-nothings who think they are above regulations. They will be dealt with accordingly, and since it was you whom they attacked, you can decide their fate" Damien said to Jian, "maybe set an example to any other journalists who assume they can barge in wherever they want".

"Yeah, but... did we actually capture them or did we force them to leave?" Jian asked.  

[Eternal_PrinceOfFire]

"Hmm. Well I think ones that refused to leave were arrested. However, we can search for the other ones if you wish. I'm sure they're images have been captured on the security cameras. Which raises another question. How did they get past security?" Damien stated.

"That's a good question. It assumes they had passes or were somehow aloud to pass." Jian replied.

"Or the security guards were being lazy. Either way, I've got some questions for some people that I want answered" Damien said.

"I agree." Jian replied. "So how's your glass of wine? Is it the same year as last time, or do you get different kinds of wine every time?"  

[Eternal_PrinceOfFire]

"Nah, I went for something different this time. I like variety" Damien commented as he swirled his wine around in the glass. He then took another sip.

"Ahh... by the way, I've noticed we haven't heard much about Shadow since we took down the resistance. I wonder what happened to her." Jian replied. "You think she's dead?"  

[Eternal_PrinceOfFire]

"I can always hope, but I'm still convinced that was her who stole a machine and ruined the other ones. I just have this feeling" Damien said.

"Really?" Jian asked surprised. Considering how anti-religious Damien was, Jian was surprised he still believed in his own intuition.

Damien nodded. "Why are you giving me a funny look?" he asked the Chief General.

"Sorry. I never thought you were one to go on intuition, but ok." He shrugged.

"I know, but there's just this feeling in me that I can't shake. I don't know why. I guess I'm just strange like that" Damien said, then sipped his wine again.
