Sesu yawned,as did his Torchic,when they woke up. "Ahh,here we go,first day in Kanto!" Sesu said with a smile. He hugged Torchic and kissed the PokeBall that his Salamence was in,and ran to the dresser to get ready. "I hope someone's around town right now...?"

Sesu,dressed up and full of breakfast,he walked out the door with Torchic by his side. "Hmmm,Torchic..." Sesu whispered... "Tor?" Torchic replied,anxious to hear what his owner had to say. "Maybe we should try and find more people from Blackthorn?" Sesu said,clearly and stubbornly. Torchic just tilted his head,and walked forward. Sesu sighed,smiled,and walked forward. He noticed a dark Pokemon with red eyes and a demonic smile walked through the woods ahead. "Huh...Wait...No! It cant be! Not here!" Sesu screamed,as he had spotted his worst nightmare.. Gengar.. He ran,hopeful that it had not seen him,but he was too late. He felt the Gengar grab his foot,Sesu's body face-planting into the ground. He let out a gasp,and blood dripped from his nose. This Gengar meant trouble,and trouble was here..

Along an old dusty stretch of highway the three-headed bird ran. Despite the extra weight Raskal provided, it seemed to have no less energy for the long journey home than it had to begin with. Raskal was thankful for that because as the trip came to an end he felt the night time chill encroaching from the west as the sun finally descended over the horizon.
The stranger at Dodrio's reigns pulled back slightly and his mount responded by slowing its pace. The trio had come to their destination at last, a small roadside shack just off the main road about a hundred feet. Raskal immediately noticed the dilapidated store sign, hanging akwardly at an angle over the shop's front door.
"You own a store out here in the middle of a desert?" He asked, caught by surprise.
"It was my mother's back when this highway was in better use. Now although people rarely use the road, it still serves as a good home." The stranger waited for Raskal to dismount and did likewise. Leading dodrio over to a trough of water and using an old rusted pump running up from the earth to fill it, he waited until the bird was relaxed and drinking - with all three heads - then gently removed its harness and saddle.
When he had finished he removed his cloth mask and tucked it away into a burlap sack slung over his shoulder, walking back over to his guest as he did so. "Have you a name?" He asked pointedly.
The young trainer paused before answering, unsure whether to give his real name or use the guise of Jace as he had back in Kanto. Another thought occured to him just then. Was he even in Kanto anymore? There were no deserts that he knew of, even in Jhoto, the neighbor to the mainland. Feeling safe in the knowledge that he was well out of Team Rocket's influence he relented and answered honestly.
"Raskal," came the short reply.
"It is an honor to meet you Raskal," the man said, extending his hands out wide to either side of him and giving a short bow. "My name is Saleem. Welcome to my home."

The next morning Raskal awoke to a strange sound, like a muffled slice through air. Throwig back the light blanket covering the bed he had been given the night before, he sat up and looked around. The room was small and a bit cluttered. Saleem had said the room was used for storage more often than visitors, so as the trainer stumbed across the floor he was carefu not to trip over any of the oddly shaped boxes filled with al sorts of foreign items.
He pushed back the single curtain hanging across the small window. The sun was brighter than he expected and Raskal had to shield his eyes as light flooded the interior of the room.
Outside Saleem was busy holding a long metal stick at an odd angle to the ground. He looked out over the dunes behind the small shop, then snapped his neck back to the ground in front of him. Raskal couldn't help but think the whole scene rather amusing as he watched his host look into the distance and back to the groud several more times, util finally he seemed satisfied and raised the stick over his shoulders and parallel to the ground.
With one clean swing Saleem brought the metal shaft back down in a swift arc, through the sand at his feet and back over his shoulders on the opposite side. Raskal had to squint, but he could just barely make out a small white glint sailing away and out of sight on the equaly bright desert sand.
"Well that explains it," he said to himself with a short laugh. Still feeling tired he shuffled back to towards the waiting matress, fully intent on waisting the rest of the morning catching up on the sleep he had missed the previous night.
All of a sudden he felt a sharp pain coming from his foot. Looking down to see what he had kicked, Raskal noticed a wooden box with rather sharp edges sticking out from beneath his bed. He knelt down to rub his aching toes wih one hand and pulled the box out into the light with his other. On the side was a large label that read T. Tech in big black letters. The curious tainer hadn't a clue what the label meant but quickly decided it couldn't be nearly as interresting as what might lay inside, and to his surprise, he was right.

Drake had been idly flipping through the channels on the small, hospital television. His half-eaten dinner was laying on the bedside stand. He ignored the nurse who came to collect the discarded tray. He was trying to find more news on the explosion, hoping to hear something. He sighed. Nothing more on the explosion. To his disgust, the guy who shot him was being praised as a hero. "Whatever dude," he said, shutting the televsion off. The young trainer lied back, staring at the ceiling. The nurse walked in shortly and shut off the light. Drake stared at the far end of the wall. He could see the moonlight shining through the open window, casting an eerie but interesting light over the room. Drake soon fell asleep to the sound of chirping crickets and distant traffic.
"We just need you to sign these release forms," the nurse said to Drake the next morning. "Sure," the youth said, tucking his debit card back into his wallet. He signed his name and turned to walked away. "Thank you sir," the woman said with a smile. "Here are some pain killers" she said, handing him of bottle of medicine and a prescription, "Have a nice day." Drake stepped out of the hospital into the bright, morning sunshine. He breathed in a fresh breath of fresh air, wincing slightly. The deep breathing seemed to exacerbate his wound. Drake took his medicine out of his jean pocket. He popped two of the pills and dry swallowed them. The youth slipped the pills back into his pocket.
Drake checked to make sure his pack and pokeball belt was secure before leaving the hospital parking lot. The youth soon reached downtown Cinnabar. The place was a veritable concrete jungle. An empty jungle. It seemed to be almost deserted. Drake cracked his knuckles and stared down the road. He could see no one. He shrugged and continued his walk, descending deeper into the city. Drake walked into a nearby convenience store. He needed to buy some Pokemon food. Luckily, the hospital fed his Pokemon for them, even going through the trouble of taking them to the Pokemon Center and having them healed. The trainer walked up to the counter, placing the items he wished to purchase on the counter. "Hows' it going?" he asked the employee. The man said nothing. He was balding and he honestly looked like he hated life.
"Okay then," Drake said, paying the man and packing his items into his bag. The youth walked out of the store and opened the bottled water he had purchased. He gently scratched the bandaging on his chest. Drake took a drink of the H20. He screwed the cap back on and continued walking deeper into the city. He was hoping to get to the countryside of Cinnabar. Little did he know that he was being watched.

Amaya waited for a few minutes to pass before attempting to sit up. It was while she was in the process of doing that when she discovered that the snap she heard earlier before was the sound of her right arm breaking. Screaming in pain, she fell back down clutching onto the injured body part. "Damn it!" moaned the girl softly as she felt tears beginning to leak out. "I don't have time for this. I have to go look for Lilly and the others" thought the trainer as she waited for the pain to subside so she could try getting up once more. Taking deep breathes, she waited for another good couple of minutes before deciding that she couldn't wait any longer. Closing her eyes, she held her breath and used her other arm to quickly lift her up into a standing position.
Fighting back stars, Amaya had no choice but to lean heavily against the very tree that saved her. Taking deep painful breaths, she opened her mouth to complain. "Gee this sucks" she said while struggling to stay on her feet. "I can't do this alone. I need Abs" thought the trainer as she bumped her hip holding onto his pokeball against the tree she was currently using. "Abs...come out...I need you" she weakly called out without letting go of her injured arm.
Abs exited from his dusk ball in a flash of brilliant red when he saw the state that Amaya was in. Not wasting any time, he immediately rushed forward for her to sit on his back and didn't relax until he felt himself being gently patted.
"Thanks Abs" sighed Amaya as she felt relief wash over her. Abs being here with her was already making her feel slightly better. "Don't worry Abs. I'll be fine. Lets just look for Lilly alright? We'll search for the others once we're sure she's okay" said Amaya while continuing to pet the top of his head.
Nodding, Abs waited a bit to make sure that Amaya was securely on before following his nose in finding Lilly. Fifteen minutes later had both he and Amaya looking down at what they think was Aurora and Lilly.
Forgetting about her own pain for the moment, Amaya jumped off her guardian pokemon and ran over to the deeply injured creature. "Aurora! Lilly!" cried out the extremley worried trainer as she fell onto her knees and began to gently shake them both. "Guys! "Please be okay..." she silently prayed while Abs reached over to Lilly and began licking her face.
((Hey Missy, Gally is still knocked out so if you wanna try something with that then please feel free to go ahead ^_^))

Jake decided to Just go on a Journey himself He called out his Pidgeot and asked it to fly him to Saffron City. When he got to Saffron City he returned his pokemon and walked into the Gym. He entered and asked the person standing by the entrance if the Gym leader was there.
The Man nodded and said "Right this way young man." he walked through a door motioned at Jake to come inside.
Jake walked through the door and saw the Gym Leader waiting for him.
"I'm Sabrina the Saffron City Gym Leader I assume your here for a Gym Battle, then lets get started." Sabrina said holding up a pokeball.
" Alright lets do this thing go Metang!" Jake called excitedly.
The Metang Jumped out of its pokeball and punched in the air and called "Metang."
Sabrina called out her first pokemon which was a Mr. Mime.
Jake ordered his Metang to use Bullet Punch.
The attack sped toward the Mr. Mime like a bullet and hit it smack in the face.
Sabrina Ordered her Mr. Mime to use reflect. A Blue veil surrounded Mr. Mime.
Jake realized that since the move reflect was used that Physical attacks won't work as much so he ordered his Metang to use Pyschic.
The Attack hit the Mr. Mime and knocked it out. Metang proudly punched in the air.
"Most impressive you took that Reflect into mind and used a special attack good thinking, but my last pokemon isn't as easy." She called out her Alakazam.
Jake returned his Metang and sent out his Rampardos. He ordered Rampardos to use Assurance.
The Assurance hit the Alakazam hard that it flew Pretty far.
Sabrina ordered her pokemon to use Psychic. The move hit Rampardos.
"Alright lets wrap this up." Jake ordered Rampardos to use Assurance again.
Assurance hit again and knocked out Sabrina's last pokemon.
After Jake was acknowledged Sabrina returned her pokemon and gave him his badge.
"Yeah I got the Marsh Badge" Jake said excitedly. He thanked Sabrina and walked to the Pokemon center.

Lux stirred, as her eyes cracked open slightly. She could feel a limp arm around her. She was probably guessing it was Gally's. The Luxray stood up ever so slowly, wincing lightly as she did. She felt disgusting a sick. Lux could barley move and everything around her was dark. She had no idea where they were. Walking forward slight, she felt her forehead hit a few rocks. We're trapped! was the first thing that crossed her mind. Using her tail, she felt the rocks. Lux was right they were trapped between rocks and the edge of a rock wall. Lux limped over to the Gallade, which wasn't a very far distance only about two paces, but it felt like walking a mile to the Luxray, her wounds hurt so bad, that she was scred to even look at them. She gently nudged Gally, Gally please wake up... she whimpered licking his face.
~~~~~~~
Aurora felt a shack, with out looking she could tell it was Amaya's soft hand she could sense Abs was there as well. Aurora had been hit too hard by the blow to be able to move. The Dragonair wished she was still unconscious, cause she was hurting so bad. Ab's..I can't move... she mutter, only slightly lifting her head up, then letting it drop again. Aurora was unable to say more. All she did was groan slightly.
Lilly winced, cracking her eyes open, her vision was blury, but she could make the outline of Abs and Amaya. "Amaya? Abs?" she asked in a whisper. Suddenly a piercing pain shot through her left leg. She screamed, "s**t! My leg!" Lilly wasn't one to cuss but right now she couldn't help it. She bit her lip hard as she moved out from Aurora's limp hold on her. The coordinator finally moved out from underneath and leaned against the rock they had hit earlier, clutching her searing leg.
With a groan, she glanced at Amaya, Abs and Auroar, with glazed over eyes, as tears of pain lightly dripped down her cheeks.
Hearing Lilly's pain, Aurora forced her head up, licking Lilly's tears away, "Aiiirrrrr" she sang worriedly. Then she glanced at her own body and winced. I'm scraped and bleeding every where... she whimpered slightly, before letting her head drop again.
What little hair remained around the crown of his head smoldered at the roots. His scalp was red and crisp from the intense heat but Blaine was used to such things. What surprised the old man more than his sudden loss of hair was how untouched the rest of his body seemed.
He stood up slowly until his joints stopped popping and tore away at the strands of webbing still attached to his clothes. "I'll have to put some of this stuff under a microscope," he thought out loud. "If it protected me this well from that blast it may come in handy."
He looked around at the devestated cliffside and up towards the twisted remains of the railroad bridge above. The cries of workers scrambling about to passify the remaining passengers still hovering about and to clean the mess left behind by Team Rocket's assault echoed down the canyon's walls and into his ears. Blaine called up to one that had leaned oer the ledge and within minutes he was climbing a rope ladder back to the top.
"Get a few men down there!" He shouted with an impatient edge to his voice. "There are still trainers and thier pokemon who were trapped in the explosion and need our help! Get a move on!"
Drake had been walking through downtown Cinnabar for the better part of an hour. The downtown area of Cinnabar was like a labyrinth. It had many twists and turns, dangerous looking alleys, and graffiti scrawled across many walls. All the young trainer wanted to know was get the hell out of dodge. It was too weird. No one was around. In fact, it seemed like he had crossed an imaginary line, a border. The town had been packed with people when he left the hospital, but once he entered the downtown limits, nobody could be seen. It was just plain creepy. Also, the youth could not shake the feeling that he was being watched.
Drake was right. He was being watched. The unsuspecting trainer did not know it, but a pair of glaring eyes had been following his every move. The creature had stayed its distance. It knew that the stranger was a Pokemon trainer. Whenever the trainer stopped to rest, for he had been walking for an hour nonstop and he was recovering from wound, the creature would work its magic. It would hypnotize the trainer and bring it back to its lair with its other brethren. The creature chuckled silently to itself. Its sinister brain plotting the best way to use its soon-to-be cronie. He watched as the trainer took a seat on the park bench. The creature was immediately filled with glee. Now was its chance, but it had to take it slow.
Gally let out a soft groan as Lux's gently licking finally brought him from unconsciousness. "Lux?" questioned the Gallade as he attempted to move but couldn't do to exhaustion. "How injured are you?" he wondered as the scent of both his and Lux's blood reached his nose.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
"Easy there friend" Abs said gently as he showed Aurora a toothy grin to let her know that he was happy she was alive. She looked like hell and he felt bad that she was going through such pain. "Don't force yourself to do anything. I'll keep an eye on the girls. Just relax yourself for a bit if you can" said the Absol as he looked over the many wounds that the Dragonair have on her body.
"Lilly thank goodness your alive!" shouted a relieved Amaya as she fought back the sudden urge to fling her arms around the coordinator for a loving hug. Holding on to her arm, she looked from Lilly to Aurora and let out a worried sigh. "How bad is it?" she asked both Abs and Lilly.
Hearing the question, Abs looked Amaya straight in the eyes and have a small shake of his head. "Not too good but still better then what could have happened" he wrote on the ground using his horn. "We'll need medical help for all three of you. If you want to go back to sleep then I'll use Perish Song. It should knock you out until help arrives."
Reading the message that Abs wrote, Amaya felt herself frown. "Don't worry Abs...I'm good...well not really but I can deal with this pain. How bout you Lilly? What do you think?" she asked her friend while searching her belt for Dill's pokeball. "I really wanna wash all this blood away" thought the trainer as she looked at Aurora.
"Russ" A jovial looking worker poked his head up when he heard Blaine's call. He shoved the orange hard hat further onto his head, grinning all of the while. "I'll help out boss!" the burly man called. He broke into a light jog, soon reaching the site of the explosion. "The name's Russel, but you can call me Russ!" the man exclaimed, giving Blaine a small salute. The worker turned to the rubble. "Okay," he said, cracking his knuckles, "Let's get these kids out!"
Russel selected three Pokeballs from his construction belt. With a smile, the man sent out three Pokemon. A Glalie, a Machamp, and a Rhyperior appeared out of the orbs. "Okay men," he yelled, he called his Pokemon men, as if they were soldiers, "Let's go through this rubble and save a couple of trainers!" The three nodded. The Machamp and the Rhyperior went to the center, while the ice-type floated behind them.
They stood, and floated, there, waiting on Russ's command. "Go!" he commanded, pointing his large finger towards the rock wall, The Pokemon cried out in unison. The Machamp unleashed a flurry of punches while the Rhyperior drilled the rock with the horn on its head. They were making good progress. They were not trying to clear the rubble, but make a tunnel. Whenever they got a foot or three deep, the Glalie would use ice beam, making makeshift supports, ensuring that the tunnel would not collapse.
Russel followed close behind, grit decorated his already salt and peppered beard, and small pebbles would fall every now and then in top of the boisterous man's hard hat. After about fifteen mintues of digging, they Pokemon stopped at a medium sized rock. "Good job men!" the Russ called. The Pokemon all nodded in thanks. The man placed his rough hands on the rock and pushed. The sinews of his muscles popped out on his arm and more sweat poured down his brow.
The rock fell, revealing the group of trainers and their Pokemon. "Hello!" Russ boomed to the now freed trainers. He looked at Lilly and Amaya with a small, secretly celebrating the achievement of his task. He could see that the girls and their Pokemon needed medical attention. "I think it would be best to return your Pokemon," the cheerful man said, his gruff but kind voice resonating in the would be tomb.
Lux sighed, I really don't want to look all I feel, is that I'm wounded, but luckily no broken bones. And my head hurts like no other. she sighed as she slumped down next to Gally. Thank you Gally... for saving me... she muttered, smiling weakly. How about you? How are you feeling. You must be tired from all that power you used. she said again with a whisper.
~~~~
Aurora nodded slightly, at Abs words. She trusted Abs, so she wasn't worried about Lilly's safety. The Dragonair closed her eyes again.
Lilly smiled weakly, "I think my leg is bad..." she muttered. "And I'm glad your fine too Amaya... that was some scary stuff." Lilly eyed her friend, "Amaya..you look terrible as well...' she mentioned in a worried tone. Then she glanced up at Abs, "You know what...I think Abs is right, My leg hurts way to much to make it back." she muttered. Lilly sighed a pulled out her pokeball.
Just as she was a bout to return Aurora, the coordinator, glanced over at the man who greeted them. Lilly nodded at his suggestion, "Hi, that's what I was just about to do..." she said as she pressed the button on her pokeball. Lilly watched as Aurora, safely returned to her pokeball. The coordinator owed her life to this wonderful Pokemon of hers.

"It's fine Lux. You would have done the same for me" said Gally as he brushed off kind words. "Ah...I could be better" laughed Gally as he tried to move his fingers and failed. "Your right. I really am tired. Can't move a damn thing. But if you give me time...I think i'll be able to get us out eventually" added Gally as he closed his eyes and listened to Lux's breathing.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
"I'm not going anywhere" Abs silently said as he stood protectively between Amaya and Lilly. He had made a promise to watch them both and wasn't planing to leave them any time soon. "I come with the girls" his look told the unknown man who came to save them.
Amaya smiled as her good hand reached out to touch Abs gently on the head. "Don't worry, he'll be good" she told man with a small smile. She was glad that Abs didn't wanna leave. "Please can he stay?" she asked while forgetting about using Dill to wash away the quickly drying blood.

"Russ" Russel sighed at the Absol. He couldn't understand a damn thing the wolf-like creature was saying. "I have no idea what you are saying strange creature," the man said cheerfully. He turned his head to the girl's pleas. "They are your Pokemon. I can't force you to do anything with them," he said matter-of-factly.
The burly man looked over at Lilly. "It seems you are hurt," he said, walking over to the injured coordinator. Russ swooped up Lilly gently, taking care to avoid harming her leg. The man turned and started to walk out of the cavern. "Go find out if there are anymore people or Pokemon trapped!" the burly man called back to his Pokemon.
Soon, Russel reached the outside of the cavern. He walked up to Blaine and set Lilly gently on the ground. "Here you go boss," he said. Meanwhile, back in the cavern, Russ's three Pokemon were tunneling deeper. Soon, they popped a hole where Lux and Gally were. The Pokemon beckoned for the othe Pokemon to follow them out of the cavern.
