A cough. Well, she knew what that kind of cough meant all too well. At first, only her head tilted towards the sound of the attention-drawing cough, but it wasn't long before the rest of her body pivoted in one smooth motion to face the right direction.
Silently, Xion listened to what had to be said. She seemed incredibly polite, but the truth was, more than taking heed of the honorable Raikage's words, she was paying attention to the sound of his voice. That is, she very distinctly remembered it from a rather disgruntling incident she still held a grudge over. However, while the voice sounded the same, it spoke differently, and as this incident had occurred during a time when people's bodies were being swapped indiscriminately, Xion could only assume that this was indeed the body that had shaken her so violently when she was just a wee confused squid but not the mind. she was so close and yet so far to giving the perpetrator a piece of her mind. Asking wouldn't do any good. Xion had no idea who was in her body while she was gone, so she could assume it was the same for others.
While her mind wandered through clearly more important thoughts, she did manage to catch that everyone in the room had been promoted. She hadn't expected that, but she also wasn't going to argue about it, nor would she argue about the dismissal. With a prim bow, Xion bid a silent farewell to the Raikage before turning on her heels and leaving, keeping her can folded to keep up her neat appearance. Well, attempting to leave. She ended up bumping into a seat on her way to the door, and rather disoriented, she stood in place trying to resolve how to fix this particular problem now that she had made the mistake of not simply retracing her steps.
She ended up extending the walking stick she had wanted to not use and begin navigating the room from scratch, letting her stick take the collisions for her as she maneuvered steadily around the objects in the room. It would take a while, long enough for someone to casually step in and help her, but with or without help, she would eventually find herself exiting the office and back in the waiting area.

Oh yes, Unki was startled. How could she not? There was no expectation of meeting face-to-toned abdomen after exiting the Raikage’s office. A yelp, which sounds more like a peep, came from her as some form of exclamation as she stops herself before walking into the taller Hojo of the trio. Together, the trio sounds off an apology with letters up for presentation. Unki would blink and slowly reach for one on envelope and stares at it in her hand. She would flip the single envelope back and forth, while listening to their outlandish pleas. A smile couldn’t be resisted against the absurd (and hilarious) fear of execution. Why hadn’t Toso corrected them? Eh. More funny this way. The girl would slowly go to collect the other two as they each carried on and begged. ”I don’t knooww…?~” she say with a tune teasing the Hojo patriarch’s needless fear, as if she was contemplating reporting their behavior. Unki had all three letters in her hands and fans herself with them, giggling about her false and callous reply.
Toso stepped in between them. Unki would collapse the letters together and tap them to her chin a few times as she would speak. ”Mmhm! I’ll help! My meeting with the new Raikage went well too. Sounds like he got the message about the exam proctors’ vote for promotion. I’m a chunin now!” She would turn her attention, sharply, to the Hojo patriarch. ”HEAR THAT?” Her tone of voice escalates and becomes annoyingly shrill for a moment. “Not only drop-dead gorgeous but i’m now more important than I was half an hour ago.” Unki flashes a deviously toothy grin before returning focus to Toso with a small, innocent, sort of a smile that reads; moving on!

"Wonderful bloop. We can reconvene at your home or wherever you prefer. " Toso would then unmuffle his family members. They all then matched gazes with one another and what seemed like secret familial telepathy with one another occurred as eyes kept moving from one to another whilst Toso's remained unflinching. Finally his mother shook her head as she shrugged. "Sigh. Let's go you two." Quite literally dragging the other two by their collars who both still seemed fuming. Toso turning his attention back towards Unki his sleeve still waving in a familiar consistent hypnotizing like manner. "I'm certain it was well deserved bloop. Up until recent endeavors I had always felt my promotion felt rushed if not a mistake."
Toso would then make a casual pass by Unki towards the door she had just then exited from. Here Toso would come across eventually the secretary's desk were in he would run into Hono. A bit of her usual color came back to the face of Jeon Gyeon as she was given permision to leave. The question that was asked of them made J and J both look at each other somewhat sheepishly. Honō was now far too aware of his surroundings from Unki's little interaction to not have noticed Toso's approach. The Hari clan member gave a polite smile and bow, hiding his panic in not remembering the approaching man's name. They had never really worked together, Honō's shyness also getting in the way of socialising - and that was before he had left the village for such a long period of time with Advisor Wanryoku and Raikage Kaileer. But this young man had obviously taken care enough to notice and remember Honō, and Honō had not done the respectable thing in return! The least he could - and would - do is listen plitely, hands lightly holding themselves in front of Honō's body and bright, expressive green eyes showing their attention by staying on Toso's form.
"My apologies," Honō bowed to Toso. His hands were clasped gently in front of his lap, face pulled down slightly in contrite guilt. "I have not been within Kumogakure for some time now. I had followed Raikage Kaileer and Advisor Wanryoku into the mountains, thus my absence from the exams." He spoke, not wanting to risk boring the Hojo by going into far too much detail - ah, be Honō had already done an atrocious thing of name-dropping Kaileer and Wanryoku, hadn't he - a truly egotistical thing that the Hari clan had most vehemontly struck from Honō a long time ago. Something that only a few long months of being amongst people and a situation that brought him out of that safety net of manners and tradition. "Did you participate in the exams?" Honō politely inquired. "I am sorry to have missed your skills."

The other went from scratching his head to lashing out almost in an instant to where it was barely visible the sudden snapping sound could have proved surprising.
The package was thus opened in a manner most precise though not without leaving a tiny mess of packaging peanuts. Bending over now to rummage through its contents Toso would find a mask, a ring, and a small sum of ryo. Apparently it was care package of sorts sent by his more distant relatives. As if his families coddling wasn't enough already the extended family seemed to want to rival them. Such was his families competitive nature and need to be close knitted. "Bloop, you mentioned you followed Giant-san and Kai-nii into the mountains are they with you as well? I'm certain our current temp Kage could use the break with all the recent individuals trying to talk with him bloo bloo bloop."
The squid laughed light heartily as he continued to rummage through the rest of his package and come up with how to break the news to Unki if not come up with some other solution. Perhaps the ill omens were indeed all in his head. As far as he knew the current Kage was for the most part simply filling in. If Hono was with the other two then it was certainly within reason that the other two had returned with him or all was going well. Toso could use some good news regarding the barbarian situation, after all if there was bad new he wouldn't be able to help but feel guilty that said bad news would have been partially his fault.

Specialist Medical [ The user, choosing to specialize in healing medical techniques, gains a great boost to their chakra control in that area. At Chunnin, they gain a -5 chakra reduction to perform techniques in their specialty. at Jounin, -10, at Konin -15 at Sannin -20. To clarify, they they gain a -5 chakra reduction every rank, to a maximum of -20 at sannin. All medical jutsu are still learnable by both sides, but the chakra control only applies to the chosen side. ]
Zoom Sensor [ The user has a vast eye, able to quadruple the range of a given sensory technique, often allowing them to sense things even outside of the given area (across threads). This vast range, however, makes it difficult to detect fine details. The user is only able to know that chakra is there, or that chakra is being activated. Things like type of technique, rank, element, ect, are unknown to the user. ]
Blind Resolution Personal Attribute [ Xion was born blind, a curse placed upon her for her parents' faults. For that reason, she will never experience sight. No ocular implant can restore her vision and even genjutsu cannot imitate the sensation of sight for her. In exchange, being blind has rewired Xion's brain to enhance her other senses, primarily the ability for her hearing and chakra sensing to pick out minute details (but not necessarily an increase in what both senses pick up) but also her smell and even touch to gather what little details they can. Using very basic echolocation mixed in with other minute details like the feel of the air on her skin, Xion has a rough idea of her surroundings up to 5 meters away; e.g. enough to pick out someone/thing rushing to her but not enough to understand the details of the approach beyond size, general shape, distance, and direction. Honō's delicate features shifted. Observing the sad glisten and shift in Toso's own body, the Hari clan member could not help his own reaction as the strong desire to offer whatever aid Honō could summon blossomed in his chest with all those razor-edged petals of anxiety making him squirm for even daring to assume such a lowly worker like himself could - no. Raikage Kaileer, Adviser Wanryoky, and teammate Soraru have been nothing but supportive and encouraging of this slight-of-frame genin. They pushed him to not make progress but to believe in himself and Honō realised that such a thing was, and still is, a push for him to not improve but to grow. And growing meant not being afraid to just smile. And not for being polite, but because this slight male clad in white and tied up in glass beads holding the fabric silent wanted to smile and feel like a real human being - an actual member of this society and social group. So he smiled.
Honō's pale lips barely broke apart, revealing the hints of white teeth before they were delicately covered by a hand littered with the tiny, numerous slivers of scars and calouses from working in the family forge for much of his life. A fragile laugh tinkled up and out of Honō's throat with all the voracity of sprinkled glass upon the stone.
"You control them with such ease, Sir Chuuin." Honō's expressive green eyes were watching the - was it rude to call them a tentacle? They looked as much like that. It was currently rubbing the top of the Chuunin's own head. Bright eyes blinked, and the hand remained in front of Honō's mouth as the tentacle lashed down and out of sight, the newly received package in Toso's care being clipped and ripped open without any preamble. Honō deliberately kept his eyes on the figure rather than the parcel, not wanting to be rude.
"Oh," Honō's face shuttered to a sad, downward turn at the mention of the Raikage and Advisor. "I apologise, Sir Chuunin. Raikage Kaileer and Advisor Wanryoku made their decision... to remain where they are. As I informed, on my return," Honō's voice fluttered, doubt reddening the hollow of Honō's throat. He needn't have added that last part but pressed on with barely a pause. "They hold no ill will towards Kumogakure or those that call it home. They simply... uhm," Again the hesitation, but this time the green eyes were fluttering in a tell that showed he was thinking. How to word it? "I believe the simplest phrase was 'to enjoy the fresh air.'" Honō gave an apologetic smile, hands neatly clasped in front of his lap once more. "They have no intention of returning." He bowed his head, shoulders a little lower than normal in recognition of his own sadness to this piece of information. While in that pose, a thought struck - slow and shy, but a splinter that refused to pull itself free straight away. Maybe...
"Would..." Honō's face suddenly turned away, and a hand reached up to his chest. With downcast eyes and his body posture ripe with hesitation and doubt, the Hari clan member forced out the words. "Would I maybe be able to help the Raikage here...?" The red in the hollow of his throat was now dusting the pale Genin's cheekbones. He had come here to offer his services anyway, and he wasn't the strongest - oh, there he goes insulting the three people in his life who had been right by his side supporting him through that small but wild trip through war. He just needed a purpose - something to focus on and keep him busy while he built up his confidence.

xxxxxx Thanatos smiled at the newly annouced chunnin as they exited his office, off to start thier own adventures and play out thier own stories. Now he had real business to attend to. Once Shiro exited as well he would ask the secretary to call in the Konoha shinobi and let those still waiting know they will be next.
The secretary stood from outside the office and went over to the Leaf Ninja."Thank you for waiting, the Raikage will see you now." She led them to the door and opened it for them. Then heading over to the Kumo shinobi who were talking to each other."The Raikage will see you after the leaf shinobi leave. He thanks you for your patience."
As the Leaf shinobi walked in and the secretary closed the door behind them. Thanatos sat as his desk smiling at the newcomers. From his report, the red eyed genin was the one who returned with Xion and Hatsu. It seemed she was injured in the chunnin exams and was unable to return home on her own. So he took it upon himself to deliver her. Thinking back, the last time Konoha came for a visit Kaileer was in the midst of chopping Axels head off... Not a good way to be remembered."So, How can I assist you?"
Raichi would wake up at the exact moment that the secretary came to fetch him and Kisuke for reasons undisclosed. He would walk into the room and would be addressed by the Raikage.
