D-Vee nodded. He carefully drew a picture of shaking grass. Next to it, using an arrow as a gesture, he drew a picture of a Munna. Another arrow, the Munna looking angry, smaller circles into large ones symbolizing the attack Psywave on a stick figure of Henrietta. He glanced back at Melty and then to Darumi, drawing a question mark and then an arrow towards Avan.

Then he drew a picture of a Darumaka and then a question mark next to him.

[You never explained how you showed up again,] D-Vee said.

"Just clean yourself up," Eunmi said, turning back to the others. D-Vee was doodling, and she sighed.

((When they are Melty and feed on people's souls.))

((Like this: Oh, look at that wittle Litwick, so cuuuute, I just gotta get close-oh GOD my soul! He's eating my soul! RAAAARGH!))

Salieri leaned over the doodle on the ground and rubbed her chin. "Huh. That doesn't explain where Darumi came from, though. Wasn't he with Gorm?"

Chen Zhen was also looking at the doodle until Wukong shoved him out of the way to get a closer look. [Looks like a comic,] he muttered. He didn't see what all the fuss was about, seeing as he had no context. [Can we get back to training now? I'm real close to being able to see where I'm going this time!]

The Pansage rolled his eyes. All that the Monferno seemed to care about was showing off. Warded away by the boisterous pokemon, he decided to go sit on the shore with Liuye, who was still resting near where Eunmi and Henrietta were at the lakeside.

"It could have been Gorm." Standing on one foot, the Battle Girl's used her other leg as a brush as she quickly swiped her toes back and forth across the dirt to draw. After a few seconds, she came up with a stick figure that wore robes making him look obese. His figure towered over the Munna drawing.

It wasn't a very good sketch.

"Was that guy there?" she asked Darumi.

D-Vee drew an X over the question mark next to Darumi and then drew a motion arrow from the shaking grass to Darumi, then pointed another arrow at the picture of the Munna attacking Henrietta, then drew a flame next to Darumi to show he joined the fight.

Or at least, thought. He didn't know if this was portraying anything accurately.

"So Darumi came out with the Munna?" Eunmi said, kneeling down and looking at the drawings. "Then he set things on fire and attacked Henrietta?"

D-Vee smacked his forehead. He shook his head and pointed to the Munna.

"He...jumped on the Munna?"

D-Vee shook his head again.

"So the Munna and Darumi appeared from a giant shaking bush because of a forest fire," Eunmi said, "The Munna used Confusion and Darumi got confused," she pointed to the question mark, not noticing it had been X'd out, "and then in the confusion, everyone attacked that guy?"

Eunmi pointed to Avan.

"Smeargle smeargle smear..." D-Vee sighed. How was Eunmi stupid enough to get that out of his drawings? She added details that weren't even in the drawings.

Luka looked at Eunmi ((I shall assume they're all introduced now. biggrin )) with shock. Was the girl really that dim? "I think the Munna appeared and started attacking Henrietta then Darumi appeared and tried to save Henrietta... That's what I'm getting from it anyway."

D-Vee flushed.

[I never really learned to write,] he said. [It's hard enough to read...]

[FLASHBACK]

"...it says C-A-K-E," the brown haired girl said. She smiled, and D-Vee stared at the written words on the flash card in front of him.

[Stop staring at me, I'm trying...!] D-Vee said, tugging on his ears. He had a blank sheet of paper in front of him. [C...A... K... Oh!]

He drew a picture of a piece of cake.

[Cake, right?]

"Good job!" the girl said.

[Why are we doing this?] D-Vee asked.

"Hmm? D-Vee, I can't understand you," the girl said, deflated. She pointed to the paper he drew on. "Now write it."

D-Vee screwed up his face as he tried to copy the letters. It was hard to do, they were such simplified shapes, not at all like drawing. He mixed up letters that looked too similar, but luckily he had the flash card as a reference.

"It'd be much easier if you could talk english," the girl said, her brow furrowing. "D-Vee, your handwriting is really bad."

[I'm still learning!] D-Vee cried.

[/FLASHBACK]

[I-It's too embarrassing,] the Smeargle said.

((My hand writing is atrocious, too, D-Vee. It's okay.))

Melty sighed. [Well the basic idea is a Munna did it and the Darumaka failed to save the day. And the eccentrically dressed homosexual is probably the culprit.] His flame made a gesture toward Avan. [If you could portray that better it would be great.] He looked at the drawings. The Luka kid seemed to have it, but he wasn't accusing Avan yet. This kid wasn't as observant as he pretended to be.

[Just draw the gay strangling Henrietta.]

"No way," Eunmi said, patting D-Vee rather hard on the back. "I'm right, right?"

D-Vee glared at her.

"Really?" Eunmi frowned. "You're supposed to have my back, man."

D-Vee glanced back at Melty.

[They seem to be taking everything I draw literally,] D-Vee said. [Did he actually strangle Henrietta?]
