The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Don't stress over it. Whether it was her or not, it still happened and it needs to be dealt with." Jian sighed. "You used to talk about her a lot though. Did you... like her?"

"She was pretty, but I think it was more of a game. I was trying to beat her, but she seemed to get away from me each time. Even if I hate her, I still have to admire that" Damien said.

"I see... so I guess that means the games still going on then." Jian replied. "If only she didn't oppose you. It's such an incredible waste of talent... What would you do if you finally won the game and caught her?"

"I'd probably have her executed so that she wouldn't get away again. It's a pity, but the war is more important then some girl" Damien said.

"True. I don't see how it could end any other way really... too bad..." He replied.

((Hmm... I think I'll post with Shadow again.))

"As I thought..." She muttered. Her days of searching in the library had paid off, and she found more then she could ever hope for. "My God..." She muttered, reading some of the designs. "People... actually designed and made something that dangerous? Bioweapons... Poisons... Androids... to think we actually had that technology perfected and hidden." She was silent for a moment before putting the books up. "The twins machines are something, but... I think I would rather have Diethelm take over then to let loose something like this. Why didn't the church officials just destroy these books?" She muttered. She thought hard for a few moments before letting out a sigh. "I... I can't do it. I can't give them to the rebels... What should I do? Perhaps I... I should just go back to Diethelm. I need to drink this off."

Damien shrugged. "Well it was her choice to do what she does. I am just disappointed that she wasn't working for the Empire. Imagine how easy things would be if she was working for us. Oh well" he said. He then checked the time. "I thought Monica would be coming. Guess not" the Absolute Leader commented.

"Maybe we should invest in brainwashing." Jian replied. "I can't say I'm too surprised Monica's not coming though. Work has been piling up on her. Maybe we should get her a few assistants after we weed out who's been making a mess of our media division."

"We have already set up reeducation camps, but if she had busted out two rebel members from an interrogation camp, I'm not sure if it would hold her. Then again, she would be stripped of any technological advantages and disguises. It is possible, however you remember the time I tried to capture her? I wound up in a coma" Damien said.

"Oh yeah... that..." He replied. "But the poison was given by rebels who were disguised as medics after she knocked you out with the toxin."

"So in other words, we have to get her all by herself, with no chance of contact with anyone. Well, my cover got blown and yours did as well, so we'd have to get someone else. She'd probably recognize Monica as well" Damien said.

"True. Maybe we can send in a third party." Jian replied. "No one she would expect."

"True, though that would mean we'd have to find out where she is first. Have we captured any of her contacts that would squeal under pressure?" Damien asked.

"Yes, but they died remember. The one who shot me." He replied. "But he was part of an illegal weapons company. I'm sure if we start cleaning out the black market, we're sure to find dozens of her contacts."

"Good. Initiate a major cleaning operation around the country. Not only will we shut down illegal activities, but we might find people with not only contact to Shadow, but to the rebels and/or Helmshire as well. There are rumors that the rebels are working with drug smugglers, but there has yet to be confirmation on that" Damien said.

"Yes. We've already taken care of cutting off their finances and main base. If we take out the drug smugglers, then I'm sure the rebels won't be able to recover." Jian replied.
