~Current Theme Music~:Phweeen Biography - Mana Khemia ~Secretary Desk~ Toso himself seemed unresponsive towards Hono's complimentary assertions, his face unchanging from its usual partial half-smile which always left behind feelings of uncertainty in those who saw it. Were they rudely being ignored? Had he chose to remain silent? Did their words fall empty? Questions like those were often made when faced with the monochromatic squids usually constant facial expression. While not having expressed anything vocally it seemed his tentacles reacted in positive way. The two of them bouncing akin to gleeful children and ending with a dainty wave similar to an 'oh stop it you' when a persons compliments were far too kind. Hono would likely have to pick up on the behaviorism of the tentacles should he ever want to try and determine things like context of feedback typical of body language as the owner of said tentacles only engaged in such rarely.
"Bloop, I apologize for having made you repeat yourself." Placing the mask upon his face now the squids eyes looked like mere cheerful looking slits. His mask seemed to resemble a hyotokko mask typically worn at festivals though bearing some form of cephalopod appearance with all things considered it could be confused for the mask of an anbu being associated with an animal and all. Sliding the ink black ring unto his right hand it shifted colors momentarily. Something that the squid whom could only see in black and white found to catch his eye as he brought it towards his face and then behind it, after refocusing his vision, he would see the boy struggling to get out his words.
It took a few but he was able to get his question out. Whilst the boys focus remained down as most individuals who seem to lack self confidence usually do, he'd find that to his hearing footsteps were approaching. These footsteps of course belonged to the masked squid of whom they had exchanged words with one another. Surely one having grown used to Giant-san and Kai-nee may have expected something along the lines of a hand being placed on one's shoulder followed bu reassurances as most sensei's and superiors did. Only unfortunately for Hono Toso wasn't a normal sensei or superior.
'Bloo hoo hoo.' amusingly exclaimed as Hono would find the sides of his fragile frame being prodded in a tickling fashion by the squids tentacles. In a way this was Toso's method of getting a usually introverted person to open up more. After all laughter was something that easily broke any currently circulating tensions. The tentacles wouldn't outstay their welcome however, as they both recoiled playfully allowing Hono to catch his breath if he needed to assuming this didn't backfire with the boy feeling molested, Toso would answer the demure boys question hopefully in a way were he could see Toso was just as much an individual as he was and while he may have been his superior there was no need to be so formal all the time.
"Bloop bloop, I've hopes that relaxed you a bit. Anybloop. The Raikage could certainly use an adviser bloop. As of currently it is only himself and even Kai-nee had Giant-san. Taking into account you were last to communicate with Giant-san and Kai-nee you've perhaps a greater idea about how they would have liked to see Kumogakure develoop bloop. As to whether the new enacting kage will take you in as his adviser bloop, well I'd suppose that's up to him." Toso would finalize with his tentacles performing a shrug of being unsure. "Bloop Currently, I'm certain he wouldn't deny any help though bloop. After all it's good knowing someone has your back bloop....AH!" The end of the sentence spoken in revelation. Quickly placing two tentacles akin to two fists on the secretary table Toso would state "I'd like to place in a request for a mission with myself as the client bloop." This would likely be the divide between Hono and Toso's conversation as the secretary looking a bit surprised provided the squid with a sheet of paper to fill as Toso himself placed the ryo for the reward on the table [-200 ryo]

Kisuke was awake the entire time, he had been waiting patiently even though this wasn't even his mission. On the other hand Raichi was sleeping at his seat. As the secretary started walking towards them he would turn to wake Raichi up but to his surprised his teammate was already up, what perfect timing. The secretary allowed them through. Kisuke remained silent throughout, it wasn't his mission he simply wanted to meet the Raikage to see what kind of person he was. Last he heard The Raikage was a dark hair female looking male. He does not fit the bill, he guessed that they had retired or something. Fang was also sitting right beside Kisuke he was kinda bored and wanted to get back out.

Though they should watch how they say things. Toso would sound pleased but at the same time he hadn't any idea that there was a deeper council behind the missions. They always seemed to be just your run of mill postings made by anyone. He learned something today. However, this also meant they wouldn't be able to begin their mission until the following day. Toso would wince one eye at the thought of having to inform his family about the delay seeing as how impatient his father was. Still Toso would thus have to take it upon himself to reunite with Unk-nee. Oh...oh...right.
It had only now just occurred to the squid while he had made the point to meet at Unk-nee's home he had nary a single idea where that was. Ah, well she certainly wasn't waiting for him outside. That would have been most strange, albeit courteous. When Sora walked into the Raikage's office, it was with a certain weight. Not just that it was different with Kaileer not being up the lengthy staircase, but rather how much information rested with him. It was actually rather nerve-wracking, and he kept his hands shoved into the pockets of his jacket to hide the slight but noticeable shaking of his hands. The secretary was familiar with him to say the least, so upon sight of her they both exchanged a mutual nod. He also of course noticed Hono, but it wasn't the time or place for pleasantries. "Ossu. I received a mission summons from Raikage-dono upon my arrival in the village just before dawn. A patrol with another by the name of Hanna. It's been completed...but I have unsettling news to report." He told her, the lack of his usual playful demeanor with her indicating right off the bat that it was no joke. He was aware that she was often skeptical of his honesty, but his presence then was undoubtedly genuine. "I see. Would you like to relay the message by me then?" She asked, reaching into an area beneath the desk where she pulled out the ryo in a stack held by a thick pin with the letter "B" on it. Had she been aware of his scouting mission too then? "I'd actually like to run this by the Raikage himself...though I also can't waste any time. I'm not sure if I'm able to talk on the situation without being debriefed by Thanatos-san, but I'd like to request Ansatsu Butai ops to set a perimeter around the Land of Lightning, specifically areas vital to the village economy and well being...As well as an Oinin Butai squad for "pickup" on two areas. 25x-79y in the opening to the forest beside the village road, in the hollowed out tree on that location. It'll need to be a decently sized squad...and a single operative to handle one pickup in Raijin Bay, within the inn. Make sure that we don't bury that body with the rest of our people, make a note for them to keep it in the Mortuary until the Raikage or one he selects can take a look."
The secretary looked concerned, perhaps even frightful of the situation. It wasn't her first time hearing such things though. After all, she had been involved in the attack on the village awhile back just like he was. "I can call this in given the circumstances, but please make the Raikage aware as soon as possible, Hiraite-san." With another nod of his head, he turned from her and walked by Hono, offering a small wave and smile while he walked past. "Long time no see, Hokori-san. Let's catch up after I give my report, ne?" He offered with one of his usual pleasant smiles despite the situation. That was the thing about Soraru. He could be screaming inside but it'd be next to impossible to notice on a physical level. Being dishonest for more than half of his life had a strong hand in that.
When he walked up the stairs to reach the Raikage's office, he of course paid notice to how obnoxiously large the staircase was. It was a usual thing with him, but he wondered why they couldn't just organize a lift of some sort to raise them up to the top. Instead it was like taking a mini fitness test just to speak to the village leader. He crossed an unfamiliar boy with a blueish tint to his hair on the way, but didn't bother to start up any conversation. It wasn't like him to do so. The door seemed to be open still, so Soraru guessed the kage wasn't fresh out of visitors yet. Instead of taking the opportunity to walk through, he knocked on the open door and leaned against it, peering inside to see both the Raikage and a dark-haired boy. Red eyes, with a large wolf to boot. He looks like he'd be the main character of a manga or something...which I guess is pretty cool. Not a big fan of wolves right now though. He thought to himself, waiting for the unfamiliar boy to take his leave.

Kisuke nodded to the Raikage as he gave them his answer, Raichi took his sweet time getting out of the office but he did so at the same time. The wolf followed, as he exited he noticed someone waiting at the door. It was a boy who seemed to be waiting for the Raikage. As he exited Kisuke nodded in his direction apologizing for taking up so much of the Raikages time. He then exited to the Hot springs with Raichi.

xxxxxx As the boys left his office was empty, but only for a moment when he received more knocks. The door opened to see soraru, the boy he went on a mission with before he believed. It appeared he was here to give his report. "Bring Hono in with you." he stated before Soraru walked in. It would be only them three, since he kicked shiro out a while ago and the Konoha nin just left.
Honō seemed to take to paperwork like a bird pushed out of the nest; a little bit of a fluster in his otherwise delicate features but he took to it after a few questions of clarifying what certain files' codes meant, and where, exactly, certain piles were meant to go. With the training of his family's insistance to retain information, manners, and courtesy, Honō was soon neatly sorting through the files to ensure they were to meet their rightful destination by the end of the day with barely a pause. A small pile was forming in the crook of Honō's left arm, his right hand neatening up another small stack, when an all too familiar presence filled the room, releiving a nervous tension that, until that point, Honō hadn't even realised he was feeling.
"Soraru," Honō wasn't even aware that he whispered the name, nor how his shoulders melted into a slightly more open posture. Green eyes flickered up and, indeed, there he was. The tiniet smile of relief touch the corners of Honō's mouth, and he bowed his head the smallest tilt - an uncommon gesture for its familiarity and lack of his usual overabundantly respectful greetings. Honō continued his small amount of help while the secretary and... would they still be considered teammates? Were they even such a thing, out in the wilds? A fellow shinobi...? The term felt an awful like Honō was draging Soraru's skills low to his own - but he needed to stop thinking so lowly of himself!
"I..." Honō was able to dig up a smile - a real, honest one. "I would like that. Thank you." This time, when Honō ducked his head, it was to try and reign in the emotion for a better balance of a more professional mind set - he didn't need to start undoing the work he was helping with by plac-
"... me?" Honō gasped, voice a whisper in response to Thanatos' call for him to enter as well. Eyes wide, and unable to hide his surprise - and the obvious touch of trepidation - Honō gingerly set down the documents and walked into the Raikage's office behind Soraru. He couldn't stop his hands from nit picking his clothes, smoothing non-existant wrinkles and brushing away flecks of lint or dust unseen to the naked eye. Upon entering, Honō's distracted mind led him to stand a steb behind Soraru's place, though to the left so he was still clearly seen by the Kage.

xxxxxx Thanatos waited for them both to enter he moved some paperwork off to the side of his desk. When they were both standing in front of him he cleared his throat."Okay, so what do you two have to report?"It was an easy and quick question.
So he was a chuunin now, fun times. Well not exactly. Letting out a sigh he nodded in agreement of the raikages words on how to reclaim the blue dragon. "I'll see to its reclamation and reactivation. As well as a number of other civil projects that need to be addressed. Each of which will of course be presented to you in a report before their start." Registering the presence of the others for a moment he continued on,"Toss me a headband if you please. I served Lord Kaileer as a sort of shinobi mercenairy slash refugee. But now that I am officially a citizen and a Chuunin I figure I should at least make it official right?" While he knew full well that swearing loyalty to kumogakure would mean turning his back on his old village but those wounds had closed. Shion was destroyed and it would not likely be rebuild for some time. In that time Kumo had been his home and now it would have his life.

xxxxxx Thanatos nodded in agreement to the previously mentioned items within the village being restored and brought back up to full functionality. He then spoke about receiving a headband and being a citizen now. He was well aware of his status, something he personally didn't agree with and wa going to speak with him about in the future. But it seemed he took the first step which surprised Thana. He reached into a draw and retrieved a headband, before handing it over he looked Shiro straight in the eyes."Receiving means alot to us Shiro, I'm not Kaileer. Taking this headband means you swear fealty not only to me but to the village and the Raikage." He meant Raikage as a title, as he could pass on the position in the future if he died or something else happened. If Shiro understood this then Thanatos would hand him a headband."Now I believe you have many things to take care of right? Sorry to take up your time, you're dismissed." He then turned his attention back to the others.
Soraru offered a simple bow before the Raikage once he was allowed access, showing the proper respect to the village leader. It was quite odd knowing that the one he was bowing to had been with him on a mission a little over a month ago. When Hono was called in as well, Sora stood up straight once more and turned a bit to look at the green-eyed boy enter the same office. A smile crept onto him from the obvious actions of the other boys hands. The young Hakemoto didn't say anything, since he knew bringing up the situation would just fluster Hono further and bring about even worse of a result. With both of them assembled, all Sora really had to wait for was Shiro's presence in the room to be handled. While he never met the redhead, he'd heard good things before and after his recovery period. In fact, it was recommended by others for him to see the medical shinobi for due to his proven prowess. He seems competent. Also a Chuunin now? I'll have to watch out for him in the future. While it was never his attention to get close to anyone, having being on the good side of an accomplished medic was never a bad idea.
Once it was just the Raikage, Hono, and him in the office, Sora took the opportunity to speak up first. Not as an insult to his former teammate, but simply due to a matter of urgency. "I'll cut straight to the point, Raikage-dono. I have a strong belief that an enemy is attacking the supply lines o Kumogakure. I found a multitude of corpses and a broken down caravan carriage in a hollowed out tree by the main path through the lightning country. Claw and bite marks infested with glass on the bodies, most of them different sizes. Glass was littering the road as well. When I used this, I couldn't detect or absorb any chakra." He said, raising his chakra dispersal glove for the kage to see. While it wasn't listed on the record as any sort of sensor tool, it still could detect the chakra it was absorbing. "There was no discrimination in that case, except for the fact that there were no child or infant bodies. Deciding to scout further to check on the safety of the Raijin Bay, i got there a moment too late. Despite blood and signs of obvious struggle, there was only one corpse to be found. Oddly but thankfully enough, the creatures seemed to spare the women and children this time. They told me something I already confirmed. Glass wolves of sort had been attacking, with an exceptionally large one doing battle in the inn with a Shinobi...that same inn we visited on our last mission together. Inside was the body of a Konoha shinobi. I found this." With that, Sora let out an almost shaky breath, undoing the second wrapping that was tied around his obi to reveal it was a shinobi headband from the leaf village.
"Cause of death seemed to be blood loss due to the series of moderate wounds she suffered rather than one fatal strike. It seemed like she won the struggle, but the lack of a wolf-shaped heap of glass said otherwise. She also had what I believe to be an Uzumaki mask...I'd like to keep it, if that's fine by you. My people in the Iron Country have experience with the demons these masks relate to, so I'd like to inspect it further to see if it's of any use. Now, two more things...first was that there were large glass structures blocking off the docks that I destroyed, showing that these creatures have interest in disrupting our day-to-day trade when coupled with the attack on the road. Next is that according to the survivors I had Hanna escort to safety, these creatures are not chakra constructs at all. They are made of natural material yet seem to not act of their own will. They seem to display things such as reflex, however show signs that a higher force is at play. The last attack of a glass wolf was a few months ago, before the barbarians...so I think whoever is controlling them has come back with a vengeance now that they're gone." With the brunt of his report finished, he looked at the Raikage with more fire in his blue hues.
"Speaking of the barbarians, I have one last thing to mention. I'll tell you the truth behind the barbarians, Kaileer-sensei and Wanryoku-san in exchange for a favor. While I know you can get the information out of me regardless, I'd like to bring up that I didn't have to mention this at all...in exchange for the information, I'd like to be granted permission to access Konoha in order to investigate the Uzumaki mask further and search for info on the fallen Kunoichi I got it from. The only reason I'm bringing this up around Hokori-san is because he was the only other witness to the events aside from myself."
