*Saunters into MW, heads for the bar and grabs a bottle of whiskey and a glass* Evening, katana! Where is everyone tonight?

*opens one eye and grins at Eileen* Heck if I know!! LOL, I just got here myself and was just relaxing. I'm trying to help Psyzapp think of a way we can do a pool game. I've got a few ideas, just trying to work out the kinks.

Hi ALL! *Walks into the Bar and waves.* I think I need some tea tonight. I am STILL coughing. stressed

*slams back a shot of whiskey* Bad coughs can last about 2 weeks. Not only is it bad for the person with the cough, but it's also bad for others around who are also trying to get some sleep! stressed When I was a kid with a cough, my mom would give me a spoonful of whiskey, followed by a spoonful of honey. Helped calm down the coughing a bit and slept a little better, too. You could try a hot toddy ... made from whiskey, water, lemon juice and honey. Good for soothing the throat.

Thanks Eileen. biggrin I may just have to give that a try. Can I still have that and cough medicine too or should I just not even go there?

Hm, alcohol & cough medicine....you should sleep REAL good then! xd

It's not advised to mix alcohol with some medicines, so I wouldn't have one right after the other. Space them out a little, like have the hot toddy first, then maybe an hour or two later have your cough medicine.
