"What kind of training is that?" he asked, squatting to the ground, arms placed on his knees. He looked over at the two Pokemon.
"Those yours?"

"T-t-taekwondo," she said. She then followed his gaze over to Melty and Frate.
Frate had opted to use Rock Blast as a deflective method against wild Pokemon, and Harden to strengthen himself when the enemies slipped by. Melty would then come around for the finisher, decimating the wild pokemon with a close range flame thrower.
"Y-yes," she said and she looked back to Ryan.

"You let them fight on their own?" he asked, tilting his head to the side.
"And what's tututaykwondo?" He stood up again, having stretched his legs a bit. His Axew fidgetted at his side. He was either intimidated by the pokemon or excited that they were battling.

"Th-they have instructions," she said. She couldn't exactly lead them in this. Frate and Melty had to synchronize themselves. Their movements. So when she said dodge, they knew how to act. She figured instructions could come after she'd gone through her own work out. There would be plenty of time, she thought.
"A-a-a-and it's martial arts," she said. It was, right? That was the right thing to call it? Henrietta didn't know. It was hand to hand combat, and to her that meant it was called martial arts. If that was wrong, she thought, Sal would probably smack her or something.

"Sounds weird," he said in response. The girl talked funny. Was the stutter intentional...? "What do you wanna learn something like that for? People don't fight, pokémon do."

To tell this guy why would mean she'd have to explain everything. From the beginning, she thought. Because he'd ask, because he'd want to know, she thought. She didn't like talking so much, at least not to a complete stranger. Heck, she felt uncomfortable with strangers attention regardless, this guy was no exception.
"H-hum... Th-that's because Emi is teaching me."

"He's got like 10/10 vision - the best you can get," Eunmi said, pointing at her own eyes, which were probably, at best, 20/20. Also almond shaped and human.
[Sometimes you have to rely on your other senses,] D-Vee said. [I guess. I don't know, I learned it a long time ago...]
D-Vee couldn't recall how he'd learned it. He learned it from an Arcanine, he thought.
"Why don't you do it, show us how it's done?" Eunmi said, placing her hands on her hips. D-Vee glanced at Wukong and then pulled his tail forward.
[It's harder to use more advanced techniques without my symbols,] he fidgeted, getting paint on his fingers as he twirled his tail. He realized this and got embarrassed, wiping his hand on leg.
"C'mon," Eunmi urged, not knowing what he said.
[F-Fine...] he said, painting an X with three lines trailing behind it quickly and then pressed his palm to the ground. In an instant, he was gone, dashing away from them and skidding to a stop at a nearby tree, palm placed against it gently as he stood up straight. He had a lot more control over the technique, but that was more likely because of the paint.

Henrietta was flustered. She recalled the exercise, what she was supposed to be doing. She knew, it was simply that she wasn't any good at it. Still, practice made perfect and she didn't want to bug Eunmi by making her stand over her, especially since the girl had seemed annoyed enough already.
"N-no, I-i'm fine," Henrietta said.

"Well. Alright then," Ryan said, looking bored. "Are you too busy..."
He looked over at the pokemon again. He was going to ask if she was too busy training her Pokemon, but it didn't really look like she was even doing anything with them, even if she had given them instructions.
"Do you want to battle?" he simplified.

A Pokemon battle? Why did it feel like a million years ago since she didn't have to worry about fighting herself? "S-s-s-sure," she said. She looked over at Melty and Frate. "T-two on two, or?" she looked over at Ryan. Lenora battled two on two, so that's how she wanted to do it. If it was one on one she'd prefer not to stop Melty and Frate from training. In which case she could probably ask Darumi, or Socant.

My other senses? It was harder than it sounded. At that speed, all scents became sort of mixed as the air rushed around him. For the same reason, hearing was also difficult.
Salieri looked at Wukong, trying to figure out what to do. D-Vee's Extremespeed was impressive. She wanted something similar to happen with Wukong. As a Fighting type, he should be able to gain mastery of Mach Punch and have some capacity to evolve it. "Wukong's eyesight is pretty good too. If I can just get his eyes to withstand the air pressure, then he might be able to open them."
She snapped her fingers. "Oh, I know! Hey Eunmi, do any of your pokemon know any Flying types attacks? Or something that can create wind?"
