*comes through the passageway, lugging a ton of paperwork, her laptop bag, messenger bag, and a heavy looking box all at once. Trying very hard not to tip over, she barely makes it to a nearby table right outside the office, huffing and puffing asshe drops everything onto it. Cursing and muttering, she walks behind the counter and grabs a Corona. Opening it, she takes a very long swig from it, damn near draining the bottle. Leaning against the bar, she looks around and sees it's somewhat busy. Waving, she speaks to everyone, still slightly out of breath* Evening folks. How goes it?

Amy nodded to Dame. "Good point. But, I'm not sure it's like THAT with them. I mean Dec, maybe. He.."
She blushed slightly. "He walked me home the other night and kissed me. Not like the kiss at the bar the other night but a nice, sweet kiss."
She then got a frustrated look on her face. "But then yesterday, he comes in and acts like nothing happened and he danced really, uh.. close with you and Katana. It was just dancing, I know. So, I didn't let it bother me too much. But he didn't ask me to the opening this weekend and he just left without saying hardly anything..."
She rested her elbow on the bar and leaned her chin in her hand. "And this leads me to wanting to go with Kai. When you said the other day that he and I seemed pretty chummy, I started thinking back about our interactions. He's a really good friend, and there's no drama with him. I just want to have fun, but I also don't want to possibly think I'm with a guy and then have him... well, Dec just might have seen our kiss as a kiss. Maybe he does that with many different women. With Kai, we'd just have fun this weekend and joke around."

why are you so worried about boys so Amy? you dont need a date for opening, your employed for MW. The party will be more fun in my opinion without a date. twisted
this just sounds like drama and you dont need that! dont you remember "high school"??

Dear, I really think I'm the wrong person to be discussing this with. -pats her hand- The only advice I can give is don't get involved with very self-confident people if you are having insecurities such as this. Also, talk to them about it. Ask them what their actions meant and what they were thinking/feeling. Do what makes you happy, kid.
