Naturally, as Shinobi the Sceptile had approached Raine, Raine had refused to give up the pack. It wasn't theirs to take as well. Shaking his head, the Sceptile would understand. It would be like taking an old lady's purse from Raine... well, taking an old lady who knew some high level Karate's purse. No use, Sceptile returned to Czar with nothing.

Raine, on the other hand, continued to tend to his fallen Onix and Shuppet as he marvelled at the occuring battle.

"Mirror Coat," hissed the Grunt Boss.

Magnezone then advanced before them, bringing up a barrier of some sort, glowing in orange. It reflected the Heat Wave attack at double the power - the careless attack. Now that it was coming back at the ones who sent it, Electivire followed with a quick 'one-two' of his own, sending Thunderbolt right up to power the returning Heat Wave.

Noticing Lily run past Arcanine, Al got up during the run and caught up to Lily. "Um.. the battle is that way Lily," He ran to her side, holding onto his newly recieved pokeball.

"I need to get Aurora back!" she said as she sobbed. She ran as fast as she could trying to catch up with the air ship. "Aurora!" she cried.

Aurora heard her master's call and flew in that direction as fast as she could. She was so worried about her trainer.

Raskal ran the length separating him from the destroyed road house in mere minutes, spotting his comrade, Rain nestled safely within the protection of his Onix. The danger was far from over however as the trainer skidded to a stop, spotting one grunt in particular barking out orders to a pair of electic type pokemon.

He began waving his arms wildly, trying to get Rain's attention though he was still many strides away. "Get to the dock!" He yelled, knowing Rain would only barely hear him from that distance. "Get to the dock!" Raskal pointed and gestured to the crossroads leading North and South where the pair had earlier plotted their course, all the while keeping a frantic pace and trying to avoid getting hit by a wayward pokemon attack.

Switching positions, Electivire zoomed in to counter Shinobi's attack. Reading the Sceptile's movements was a breeze, on account of it doing some flips towards Magnezone's previous spot. The boss grunt raised his hands again, and waved it to give signals - multiple signals. It was as if he was merely playing Maestro in an orchestra. Electivire, then smashed his own fist against Shinobi's using Focus Punch to push it away. Focus Punch was naturally a stronger attack.

Magnezone, after switching positions with Electivire, on the other hand had broken through the Rock Spire with its sturdy physique, taking minimal damage for resistance, while charging a beam attack.

"Flash Cannon," mused the Boss Grunt.

When the instruction was given, Magnezone had fired a clean white beam of powerful light energy at Garchomp, sure to disable it if it hit without fail.

"A small little Dratini. But i think she is in the ship! I think Team Rocket has her!" Lilly sobbed. Suddenly something swooped down, lifting her off her feet and on to it's back. "AAAAHHHHH!" Lilly screamed in alarm.

"Airrrrr..." Aurora snag happy to see her trainer was safe and on her back.

"Who's pokemon are...?" Lilly stopped in mid sentence. "Aurora?"

"Airr..." Aurora sang.

"It is you!" Lilly was shock, "You evolved!" she hugged Aurora tightly around the neck. "I love you Aurora remember that. I will never let you go like that. Ever again." she promised.

"Ain't this a cool sight?" Al asked Swellow, who cawwed with a happy remark. "Now that your a happy family again, we got a bigger problem." He pointed to the massive battle. "Looks like this getting exciting." He grinning before starting to run for the masive battle, Swellow carrying him to the Road House.

Arriving at the docks with a speeding Onix, Raine hopped off from the train ride, and aimed a Pokeball at the stampeding rock-snake Pokemon. The Onix returned to its Pokeball safe and sound to get some rest. In a while, Banette was also returned, and there, Raine stood, waiting for Jace to follow...

At Road House: Vermilion to Route 11 and Diglet's Cave...

"Surge," called a Police Officer, "What're you gonna do about this?"

Standing tall before the crowd, right next to a simply Officer Jenny carrying a pen and pad, and with her Arcanine, a yellow haired, spiky-haired, man, with a very built-up body stood. He was wearing a tank-top, and army-pants complemented by tough leather boots. The dog tags he wore around his neck chimed as he turned around to look into the officer's eyes - his own, were very strict and whole.

"What do you want me to do about it?" spat Lt. Surge, Gym Leader of Vermilion City Gym.

"I-I don't know, but because of this, all of the trainers are-"

"They can't possibly return to Vermilion City from this route. We should seal off this route and repair Diglet Cave immediately. The Pokemon will get restless and then, they'll take it out on us," Surge strictly suggested.

"B-but, some of the trainers are still fighting Team Rocket!" argued Officer Jenny, "What are we going to say to the Pokemon Authorities once they find casualties?!"

"We can't risk interfering!" cried out surge as he shoved people out of his way. Enraged from the event, enraged that he couldn't possibly do anything, he stomped out of the conversation, leaving a few final words. "The Indigo League must not risk being involved in this. It is too catastrophic, and as such, I will not have any of my men assist. The Indigo League Board of Gym Leaders, too, will not permit such a thing,"

In disappointment, Officer Jenny dropped her pen and pad, and rudely but righteously, rose her middle finger to the bossy Lt. Surge. "Sure as hell you won't," she hissed under her breath, "You're all big-headed hotshots, anyhoo,"

Once again, with the authorities facing such a dilemma, they had no other choice but to clear out the wrecked Diglet's Cave, and follow Surge's suggestion. It would take about a few months to restore the route, but if they started now, the time it would take to repair everything would be shortened...
