Hitmonlee crashed down before him and he grinned.
"Don't let it!" Chili ordered.
And Pansear complied. Though he winced, he used another Work Up as he started forward and then he shot forward all at once. The leg rose as he covered the distance and sped down faster than he could keep up with. Even so, he'd managed to cross enough of the distance.
From how it looked, it seemed like it would be a close race. Pansear sucked in his breath as he covered the last bit of the distance. Pushing himself into the air, he aimed to strike the descending leg with Acrobatics, to harm and try to offset it in an attempt to stop, or at least weaken, the attack altogether.
And, if Pansear did hit the leg, then he'd push himself upward, over Hitmonlee to release his Incinerate attack from above as Chili called out, "Yeow! You can't beat the fire type scorcher! From above!"

Hitmonlee was watching and he saw his opponent's moves. Once Pansear jumped into the air, it was a sitting duck. All Hitmonlee had to do was watch the trajectory and time his movements. Pansear aimed for the leg, but Hitmonlee pulled back from the ground, angling his body.
His repositioning changed the leg's location entirely; instead of Pansear jumping up to the leg, he was jumping into empty space with Hitmonlee's foot aimed to crush down on his skull a moment later.
Let's not forget, that foot had enough power behind it to generate an earthquake.

Pansear twisted his body so his upper body would descend as his lower body rose to bring the Acrobatic attack around to strike the leg just above the ankle zone.
It wouldn't help him avoid the descending leg, but that's what his upper body was for. As it twisted to be lower to the ground, he'd shove himself away from Hitmonlee's with one hand to put distance between them. A feat that would normally be impossible, but luckily he'd upped his power with Work Up twice so far.
Chili looked at the console next to him.
Wayne?
"Hey, Wayne! If I wanted to fight a wild Pokemon I would, give some orders! Like this, Pansear, Incinerate and move!"
And Pansear complied, releasing the incinerate attack before moving to the right. He couldn't risk keeping still, especially while using moves that could obscure his vision.

Salieri's eyes darted back and forth across the field, watching each move intently. She was getting a feel of how Chili battled as a trainer, but as for Wayne, he was making a fool of himself. Issuing orders and being ignored? His pokemon was impressive, but now she didn't feel so bad that she didn't get to battle him before. He didn't seem all that tough.
Her thoughts trailed off when Hitmonlee began to really fight on his own, launching skilled kicks and dodges without taking Wayne into consideration. All of the moves, Salieri saw them as familiar. Routinely drilled into her head, because....
....
That kick...that's mine.
Hitmonlee continued to fighting, and as he did Salieri went through the motions in her head. In her mind's eye, she saw herself next to Hitmonlee, doing every move he was doing (minus the stretching) in perfect synchronization. Salieri's eyes widened in realization. She knew now why she thought the Hitmonlee was familiar before.
Those are my moves...that Hitmonlee came from my family's dojo!

N took the shirt from Henrietta, examining it's damp form. No matter. It wasn't cold out anyway. The green haired trainer stood up and looked down at Darumi.
So now he wanted to protect her as well? Even though he was in just as much danger as Henrietta was and it was all her fault? Who was this pokemon, this little misplaced cog in the machine?
"I saw the whole thing. You were hit by that attack because of your concern for your pokemon. The average trainer wouldn't do such a thing during a league match, especially when they willingly put their pokemon on the front line in the first place. I don't think you're cut out to be an ordinary trainer...when you could be something much more."
N tipped his cap to Henrietta and Darumi. "We will meet again," he told her as he quickly turned away and marched off. With his back to her, Henrietta wouldn't see N smiling happily to himself, his teeth showing out of the corner of his mouth.
Salieri had been too concerned with gaining and showing off strength. This girl was too scared of the world to use her heart to it's full potential. But they had both shown promise so far.
That was two. He'd gather more.

The descending leg struck the ground with impressive force. No longer angled correctly, it wouldn't generate an earthquake but instead smash the dirt arena apart, creating a huge web-like crack. Dust kicked up as the crash echoed loudly around the arena.
Wayne could see Hitmonlee through the dust. The pokémon was shaking as he forced his body away from the ground with his arms, his legs lying injured at his side. Wayne heard Chili's taunt and his eyes opened wide. No! Not like this, Pansear had to stop!
"Wai-" he started to yell but just as Hitmonlee got his body away from the ground and extended his arms, he was swamped by Pansear's incredible Incinerate. The fire raged over the pokémon, hiding him from view once more.
"Hitmonlee!" Wayne roared as the flames began to dissipate, and he nearly ran right out of the trainer stand box. If he left it, it would be considered trainer interference and he'd be disqualified. As much as he wanted to see if Hitmonlee was okay, if there was a chance to win the match...
The fight type was on his feet. His back was scorched and he could barely keep his eyes open. He breathed heavily, arms hanging down as he stooped over. His legs were bent where they were injured; halfway down on one and at the ankle where his foot didn't rest on the ground properly with the other. Smoke and dust began to thin out and there were small patches of fire. Hitmonlee still wanted to fight.
Wayne grit his teeth and ran forward, "Forget it! This is over!" he shouted, pulling the pokéball from his pocket. He stopped at the halfway line and aimed his pokéball, sending out the recall beam towards Hitmonlee. The Fight type knocked it away with the back of his hand and looked to Wayne heavily. The trainer frowned back, eyes quivering shut until he couldn't take it anymore.
"Why won't you listen to me?! What happened, Hitmonlee!" He balled his hand into a fist, staring at it as the knuckles went white. Something happened. He'd some something during that match that meant Hitmonlee wouldn't trust him or- Wayne looked back up and Hitmonlee met his gaze. Neither said anything for a few seconds. The trainer exhaled and sent the recall beam out as Hitmonlee closed his eyes and allowed himself to go back.
Wayne just stood there, hunched over and staring at his pokéball, wondering what went wrong.

"Battle Over. Striaton Gym Wins." The synthetic voice of the referee crackled through the wall.
Chili recalled Pansear and returned him to the triangular device before he started toward Wayne. "Pokemon won't obey a trainer they don't respect. If you aren't strong, your pokemon won't recognize you as its master," he said.
Chili grinned. "That fired me up, though. Your Hitmonlee was on fire with that speed! If you awaken that inner fire your Hitmonlee will see it! Show your Pokemon your burning passion for victory and come back some day."

Henrietta was left dumbfounded, confused. She looked to Darumi.
"Hum... I wonder what he meant by that?" she asked and Darumi shrugged. She sighed and dropped to her knees. She grabbed Darumi and, although it hurt, she lifted him into her lap and hugged him.
"Daru!"
"It's okay. We just have to figure out how to win. Maybe... If I used Melty.."
"Maka!" Darumi protested.
"Hum?" Henrietta looked at the scowling Pokemon.
"No," she said as she tried to best to look and sound stern, "I'm not putting you in danger like that again. Never again."
And she hugged him tightly and Darumi slumped and sighed.
"Maka..." he whined pitifully.

I finally got to the route I was going to I wanted to train Snivy first so I walked with him until we reached the grass I soon as I got to the grass a Lillipup sprung out a Snivy, but he smacked it to the side with a Vine Whip it stumbled to it's feet and charged again this time Snivy stepped away and let it roll past Snivy whipped it again finally it fell down and fainted "great job Snivy you were great !, ok Purrloin your next!" it jumped off my shoulder and she walked in the grass until a patrat appeared it went for a nasty Bite attempt but Purrloin swiftly dodged it then scratched it two times then it went "great job Purrloin!,Woobat we have to wait until night since you can see better" it started to fly around in agreement so I gathered the three pokemon up and walked them home,Purrloin beat me to my side of the bed and already took the pillow on the side also I laughed I took off my coat and shoes and I turned on the air condition to 60 Snivy jumped up right beside me and layed it's head on the pillow on what was rest of it and Woobat was asleep in it's preferred pokeball I pulled up the covers for the other two and in seconds we were fast asleep

"Here are your pokemon young man" Nurse joy said kindly as she handed both Spike and Lancer's pokeballs back to Takamaru.
"Thank you nurse joy" He said with a small inclination of his head. "Now you make sure Spike there takes it easy for the next day or two alright" She said waving him off. "I will nurse, I promise." and with that Takamaru placed both his pokeballs back onto his belt and sprinted from the Pokemon center waving at the pokemart workers as he left. 'No to Nuvema town!' --
He was on his way back down route one to meet with the official pokemon professor of the unove Region when a thought struck him, 'i could get some training done on the way there!' and so he did, releasing both Spike and Lancer from there Pokeballs he Had both the Drilbur and Karablast jog along side him as he made his way down the route. Along the way Takamaru had Lancer battle with some novice trainers for additional experience. Along the route nothing of mention happened..
--
After his trek along route one he eventually landed in Nuvema town. Looking down the streets he easily found the pokemon laboratory. sprinting twords it the skidding to a stop in fromt of the oak laden doors, he lifted his fist and pounded on the door Three loud times then bent over to catch his breath after his jog down route one, both spike and Lance did the same as they waited for the professor the open the door.
After his departure from jhoto on the royal unova he was contacted by his mother with news that she would be sending some things to the professor of the region that would help him on his journey.

((N: "The biggest harem of all time! GOTTA CATCH EM ALL! MWAAAHAHAHAHA!!!!"))))
Salieri slapped her palm to her forehead as Wayne ran onto the field for an instant disqualification. "Damnit!" she cried bitterly. Hitmonlee lost using her family's kung fu. It was embarrassing for her to watch, and even more embarrassing to see Wayne not being able to control it. If she was in his shoes, Salieri was confident that she would have been able to handle it.
She turned towards the door and walked outside, resting her back against one of the columns positioned right outside the doorway. As soon as Wayne came out, she'd figure out what was going on.
Salieri crossed her arms. "Guys are disappointing."

With nothing else for it, Wayne left the arena. Chili handled the door for him, holding it open as he walked on through. Staring at Hitmonlee's pokéball, Wayne didn't seem to notice how the restaurant went quiet, looking at him. They were all trainers. Did any of them know how he felt right now?
Wayne put his hands in his pockets and sloped off towards the door, his eyes on the ground as he replayed the battle in his head. He came to a gradual stop when he came across Salieri stood with her arms folded. He looked up at her slowly, pathetically. "Sallyrooki... did you see that?"

Salieri's eyes narrowed at Wayne in silent fury. She stood up and walked slowly up to him, peering upwards as she got closer to him to make up for the height difference. That was twice now he had made that mistake. Twice within five minutes, no less.
"Do you...really think that's my name?" she asked him slowly, pouting while putting one hand on her hip and pushing her hair back with the other. That answer better be no.

"That's what you told me?"
