"that's implying we had her in the first place." Jake said, glacning at Kari with a odd look. "Alright, lets focus. I'd like to actually get work done on the project tonight."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Kari just grinned and shrugged helplessly. She settled down though. "Alright. Let's get to work then. I have no intention of getting anything but the best possible mark on this project." She said cheerfully and set to work.

The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Have fun with that, I'm gonna go and try and fix the AC now." Remy said and went outside to work on his car.

Jake smiled and pulled another book over to him, opening it. Out fell a few pieces of paper. Curiously, he bent down and picked them up. "It seems our old hunter friend had tracked down..what he believed might be a vampires nest outside of town..." He said.

"Really?" Kari leaned closer to look at the papers. "How far out of town? Wonder if it's worth checking out.........Wouldn't that be neat? To meet a real vampire?" She asked with a grin.

Remy was looking all over the car to find the source of the AC problem.

"It's not to far out..we could probably drive there in around half an hour." Jake said, looking up from the papers at Lilly and Kari, "Should we go check it ou?"

"Better bring the stakes, just in case?" Lilly smiled, half hanging off the couch, and brought her hands to her hair, roughing it up a bit.

"Look at it this way - If nothing else, it's a good excuse to get out of town for a bit." Kari said cheerfully. "Time to get away and explore, regardless of what may or may not be waiting for us out there."

Jake looked like he was gonna get up, but then stopped himself. "No No..we need to finish this project. The vampire signs can wait." he said and reopened the book. A few seconds later, he closed it and stood up, "Alright lets just get this over with."

"Aww......." Kari sighed and crossed her arms. She sat there, pouting, until Jake agreed to go. "Yay!!" She cheered, jumping to her feet. "Let's find the vampires~!" She said in a sing-song voice, darting out the front door, pausing only to grab her bag and sling it over her shoulder. "Remy~! We're hunting vampires!" She announced to him happily.

Lilly rolled off of the couch, pulling herself to a standing position, and brushed off her clothes. Comfortable, ready for action, she grabbed her bag. She also grabbed a few stakes the man had left behind before she rushed outside to catch up to Kari. "It's gonna be fun, I'm sure."

"Right, because biting necks is always fun." Jake commented playfully before heading outside. "Hey Remy, we should only have to take one car this time. Mine or yours?" he asked, coming up behind Kari. "And do you have any rope to retrain Kari?"

Kari scowled at Jake playfully. "I don't need to be restrained." She told him, sticking out her tongue. "I just happen to be highly interested in everything."

Jake grabbed her tongue when she stuck it out, giving her a calm, yet amused look. "Yes yes your highly interested, to the point where you try to give knife weilding ghosts a hug..oh and then three days ago when you thought that Husky was a werewolf..." He added, letting of her tongue.
