It seemed her words came true sooner than she expected, smiling as she looked to Jericho, and then Riley. Still, Shehk was going to have to consider who she'd bring in for a visit for homework. Maybe Sammy would come along. She wasn't sure, but she'd pick some nice cold night when the heat would just be completely delightful.

It helped they were near the undead dorms too.

"I agree. I think a few bandages are in order and some rest." Shehk said as she slowly got to her feet as well, offering Riley a hand up as she did.

Their teacher was saying something. At least he thought so. Maybe. Thackery was only very vaguely aware of anything going on around him, too overwhelmed with contentment. Sleeping next to the fireplace was nothing compared to this! His eyes were half-lidded and the Cerberus had rolled over onto his back, limbs lolling lazily to the side.

He couldn't wait to bring Ash to such a happy place. The relaxation would probably do him some good, really. And it was still on Amityville grounds, so...maybe that counted as home?

Gene honestly hadn’t really been paying attention to anything going on around her once the hot springs has been revealed to the class. She had immediately grabbed a bathing suit from the least pervy looking gnome she could find, changed, and sat herself in a pool that was away from the ruckus that was going on. The hot water and steam wafted into her nostrils, driving her mind to the point of dream like stupor. She vaguely heard the professor say something about bringing a friend – why she felt compelled to convince students to share this bliss was beyond the doppelganger. She sank farther down into the hot water, content to sit there for a while. She needed this; a nice respite from the stress of everything that had been going on lately. Who would she bring to these springs, though? Most of the people she knew had attended this class…

Alex watched Mort's molerats bemusedly. They really weren't such bad critters now that they were tamed and not being all...bitey. Alex really did not like being on the receiving end of those teeth!

"You really think something bad is going to happen?" Alex asked Mort, though was interrupted by a wave of hot water suddenly splashing over him. He yelped in surprise and tried to push back with his feet away from the edge of the water, only to have his skelatal foot slip and slide over the now wet rocky ledge, resulting in a very pathetic retreat. His molerats, who had been sitting so near him, had ended up with water on them as well, and shook out their bodies, effectively splashing Alex yet more.

He might have been upset with the weremantis, but he knew that he pretty much derved it after kicking water at the other boil. Still though, Yin knew Alex didn't like hot things, so he may have felt a little pouty at that moment. He perked up at the sudden mention by the instructor of the very hot springs and the not so hot springs, but in the end, water was water, and Alex was just not interested.

Some adventure this turned out to be.

Heedless of Mort's cautioning words of impending doom, Alex crawled around the pool, telling his molerats to stay, which they did, and ended up next to Yin once more. The zomboil looked quite sullen, but with a sigh, rolled up his pant legs (which was absurd, considering they were already wet) and slowly dipped his legs in the pool, grimacing at the sudden heat that accosted his cold limbs. He pulled his flesh covered leg out almost immediately, the heat just being too much for him to bare. He wished he could enjoy the springs as much as Yin, but he just couldn't.

And so he sat, one knee up with his chin resting on top and his skeletal leg dipped in the water, moving back and forth as he slowly bent and unbent his knee, watching the way the water rippled around it and distorted it's image to his eye.

The talk of homework grabbed his attention, but it seemed Alex was going to have to find somebody who hadn't attended the class and bring them back here. He racked his brain immediatly trying to think of who he could drag along.

Yin might have felt slightly bad at splashing Alexander that much but really....he was not too tore up about it. It was a simple hazard of being with a friend anywhere near the water. You splashed someone and you became fair game, no matter if your attack succeeded or not. And while Alexander may not have looked happy with him he was coming toward him, until he was sitting at the edge of the pool and slowly putting his legs in.

While Alexander obviously did not enjoy it, he had at least tried it, which was making Yin feel an odd bit of pride for his bonded. He was distracted from that the idea of homework, and the class being finished up.

And the news that he could come back any time he wanted. The knowledge made him almost ridiculously happy. The homework? It just gave him a reason to need to come back. Coming to Amityville? Greatest idea ever. He used his arms to hoist himself out of the water, sitting next to Alexander, about the appropriate distance apparent so that they could have made a giraffe if Yin was not so against displays of affection in public, and with both of his legs dangling into the water. The water dripping off of him really did not bother him, and most of it was running back into the hot spring, though he always could have used his molerat to get partially dry if he had wished.

He looked at Mort. "See, perfectly natural, and nothing to worry about." Nothing to worry about except enjoying the results of their adventure too much. "If it was dangerous the professor would probably not wish for us to bring friends here." He had no idea of who he would bring, but it was more than likely that he would come back on his own just to enjoy the hot springs.

Willow grinned when she saw the water, ohhh a new place to play! She'd have to come down here when she had the free time. It didn't take long for the tiger to sink herself into one of the pools and paddle around.

Her ears perked up when the teacher mentioned homework. However, it wasn't as bad as some of the others classes. Bring a friend. That would be easy! Willow could bring alllll her friends if she needed to! The tiger ghoul blew bubbles into the water before grinning. Of course, Willow could spend all day in here but eventually she'd have to find a friend and drag them along. That'd be okay though for now, WATER!

He hadn't expected her to see him staring and glaring, let alone to respond if she did. West noticed a white blob approaching out of the corner of his eye, and by the time he looked down again, Levi was there, staring right back. He was seconds away from jumping to his feet and hurrying out of the vicinity, even if it meant he would miss the end of class, but then she was gone. Thank Jack. He refused to look at her as the janitor began to speak and his pair of molerats waddled away to join the others.

West barely paid attention to the content of their assignment once the all-clear was given. He brushed off the seat of his pants as he stood, grabbing his shoes and leaving the cavern without putting them on, his damp feet gathering dirt all the way back to the demon dorms.
