Eviz froze when he heard the familiar voice, he dared not turn to look at her, instead he hung his head and turned "Lord Thunderbird!" He said keeping his gaze averted "I...I'm sorry...I needed fresh air..." He struggled to find an excuse, especially one that would work on Hector, nothing came to mind, instead he hung his head and waited for his punishment.

Hector raised an eyebrow as she looked at him. This didn't seem like him at all. She turned her head towards the fountain he was looking at, and blushed slightly when she realized why. "Well, if you like the view that much, you can stay here for all I care." She snapped. She turning and walking away.

Eviz's eyes went wide, that wasn't at all what he was expecting. He looked up to see Hector walking away "....wait!" He said chasing after her "uh...Sir?" He said trying to get her attention.

Eviz kept a bit of a distance between them "..." He hesitated for a minute "are you okay?" He asked, the sympathy he was showing was all too real, especially for him.

Eviz didn't want to say anything else, he felt like no matter what else he did he would make it worse. "Please...I'd like to help..." He said, his voice cracking slightly "but I have to know what's wrong..."

"Why?" She asked folding her arms. It seemed strange to her. She felt like he was starting to see her as a woman, but in doing so, it seemed like he was forgetting what type of person she was. That was starting to bother her.

"Like you're one to talk." She replied, turning her head. "Look around you. It's almost like paradise to some." She muttered before looking up towards a very common jeweled decoration seen everywhere around the city. "It seems beautiful, doesn't it." She muttered. "Look harder." She told him. They were stones used for magical purposes and the symbol was nothing more then a catalyst for a magic spell. Not only that, but the jewels were currently in use. "I'm being watched." She told him.

Eviz suddenly felt it, the strong magical presence aimed at Hector, she was right, she was being watched. He had an idea but he wasn't sure if it would work. "I believe I know a way to counter the spell that is in use" he said, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a white stone, he hummed a tune and the stone lit up "here" he said handing her the stone "with this you won't be recognized by the stones, you'll just be another person walking by" another problem arose with this solution now "of course....if they were watching you, now they'll be looking for you..." He had a suggestion, but he knew she would snap if he even mentioned it.

Hector was silent for a moment, and looked at the stone. "Where did you get something like this?" She asked, feeling the magic around her dispel.

Eviz smiled "I picked it up in my travels" he looked around, making sure the area was clear "you do know that soldiers and guards will be looking for you now..." He said trying to give her the idea he was thinking.
