Hurling towards her still, he caught her fist that was approaching him but spotting her tail quickly approaching him with a kunai, he had to think fast because there was nothing left he had or could do in order to block such an attack, not thinking and just reacting he tightly gripped her fist and pulled with all of his might pulling himself towards the ground and her higher.
There really was no way to get beyond this other than to train hard. It was good practice to say the least but Suzume really did wish to continue on with the rest of her training. She knew she was so close to mastering her other styles, she just had to buckle down and get on with them. Then that would be many styles she could use to help defend the village and show she was a master swordsman.

Chakra control definitely would have a part in making her stronger, since some techniques did require chakra. If she could better control it and save some instead of wasting it, it would be quite a lot of help. Although after this was over, she would have to take another break since there was no speeding up the process of this training.

Going through the motions of using chakra bukijutsu techniques, she was refining her chakra control. She was still sweating a bit, this was putting a bit of a strain on her body. Training with chakra was like training a whole new muscle that not many people knew or could use. Suzume used it now and then but like her other muscles, it had grown soft while she was on maternity leave.

As Suzume attacked the training dummy with chakra based bukijutsu techniques, the burn really wasn't feeling so bad. Maybe it was because she did feel that the end of the training was within reach. She could feel close, like there was a new reserve of chakra that she was tapping into. If it would help her to expand upon the chakra then all this training will have been worth it.

Groaning softly, Suzume continued on, attacking with chakra based techniques and feeling close. There was just a point when one knew they were coming at the end of their training. She could feel a greater reserve of chakra being dug up. Just a bit more pushing, then she would have it and the training would come to an end. Another break and then she could move on to the other techniques.

With one last technique, Suzume felt satisfied and a feeling washed over her as more chakra came to her body. With that feeling, she sheathed her sword and moved to sit back against the wall to rest. Suzume sighed softly and closed her eyes for a moment, allowing her body to rest and get ready for the next set of training. At this rate, she would probably go through the rest of it fast enough. It was time to move on.

Sighing softly, Suzume grabbed the scroll of Shigure Soen and checked on the techniques. There was only one thing left to do, it was to take time to think and reflect upon a new technique to create. According to the scroll, each master of the style had to create a new technique that would be added and passed on to the next generation. While it was a nice thought, Suzume wasn't sure if she could think one up right now.

Sighing, Suzume set the scroll aside and thought back to the different techniques that were in this style. All of the techniques seemed odd but they could be useful in their own way. Chakra to make shields, confusing and taking the opponent off guard. That was certainly food for though if she was to make a technique of her own. Something that would be worth passing down to the next generation.

Ideas were beginning to float into her head, about what to create as the next technique. There was nothing concrete but Suzume would have to think more on it later. When she actually had time to give this matter more serious thought. Right now she was more focused on actually mastering the rest of the techniques she had to learn. This would have to wait for another time since now she was rested and ready for more training.
[Post 3/3 Learned The Task of the Next Generation]
Setting aside the Shigure Soen scroll, she had mastered everything there was to learn from it, and now from Tetsu no Ryu. This style was just about done as well, only four more techniques to go. The next two would breeze by, the third would be hard and the last would be difficult. Focusing her chakra after stretching her arms, she coated her blade with a chakra scabbard to ready for practice.

With her chakra scabbard ready, Suzume held her focus as she faced the training dummy. When she was ready, she attacked six times, the first five being with the chakra scabbard. The final blow came from the actual blade of her sword, the last of which did cut into the training dummy. Before that though, when it was covered with the chakra scabbard, it had cut very deeply enough. The training dummy was in bad shape and it would only get worse for it from here.

The last technique of this stage would be much more pure than before. It was a chakra scabbard that was just made out of her element of choice. Either wind or water. Water was nice certainly but Suzume felt more inclined to go with wind. It would just be a matter of focus, the same as last time and it would be easier for her to do.

Focusing her chakra to make a scabbard, but this time she would focus so that it was the pure element of her choosing. Pure chakra flowed around it, there was a light breeze as the element of wind was used. With a swing, she cut all the more deeply into the dummy and it was as if there was no resistance to her blow at all. Once the attack was finished, she let the chakra fade away, mentally crossing off another technique and preparing herself for the next, which would take a considerable amount more of time.

But before that, Suzume would have to learn one last technique, relatively simple, similar to one that came before it. Yet instead of simply just slashing with the blade, the red head would sheath the sword after a powerful cut. From the sounds of it in the scroll, it seemed as though the cut would be the same as Hachiware but the only difference would be sheathing her sword after since it seemed able to reduce the damage that could be done to the blade.

Facing the training dummy, sword in hand, Suzume moved her sword up and performed a powerful downward slash. It would basically just about cut the training dummy in half. Yet immediately after she finished the cut, Suzume would quickly sheath her sword afterwards. It seemed simple and easy enough to do, something she could easily get it down. Now it was time for the more powerful and difficult technique ahead.

Igarashi felt herself be pulled and with that extra momentum she had no time to really react. Her eyes got really wide with a bit of fear in her face thinking she was gonna be thrown into the ceiling and she wasn't sure if she would be able to stop herself. Igarashi had only moments to think either she was the hit the ceiling or she would fall faster then she expected to the ground once the momentum lessened. She then had a spark of an idea and without a second thought she tried to flip herself mid air using the momentum she created with her tail to swing her around just enough so if she was to hit the ceiling it would be on her feet not her face.
Having had enough of a rest, Suzume picked up the Tetsu no Ryu scroll again and began looking it over. There were two techniques left to learn, but one would have to wait for awhile. The last one to learn would be very difficult and dangerous. Her body had rested enough so she felt confident that she could take it on, but it would take a lot of chakra and strength.

From reading up on the technique, it sounded very difficult to learn, and it would be difficult to prepare. Even when the technique was learned, it would take some time to prepare and it would consume one Divine Scabbard technique. Suzume felt a bit nervous but she was not going to just back down now. With a technique this powerful under her belt, she could deal with almost any opponent.

Instead of jumping right into it, the red head instead took the time to meditate on the tenets of the style. Honor, loyalty, wisdom... it was things her father valued and what she valued as well. Maybe it wasn't what a shinobi should value, but Suzume liked to follow her own way. This was the way she felt sure would be the right direction to protect the village and to set an example in a way.

Feeling that she was ready, Suzume got to her feet and readied her sword. She'd coat it with the pure chakra from the Divine Scabbard technique, that would be step one in trying the technique. The next would be preparing and gathering her chakra to unleash a powerful technique. Even if this might take awhile, it would be worth it, it would be powerful and it would all be worth it.

The concentration she put in caused her chakra to become visible and swirl around her. All of the chakra needed for the sheer power of it was incredible, Suzume was starting to see why she would need a bit of time to prepare it. The good part about it was that, according to the scroll, while she did have to wait and could not be interrupted, she could still moved while gathering her chakra for the attack.

Igarashi realized in that moment she wasn't gonna strike the ceiling and was beginning to lose her momentum. she was falling now kinda quickly to the ground. "Heads up." As she landed almost gracefully on her feet right in front of Kazurai. She had lost her kunai she had held in her tail. She must of dropped it when he pulled her midair behind him. She felt a bit vulnerable if he had anything in his hand.
Renji on the other hand was ready to jump in but knew better for Igarashi told him pretty much to stay out of it. His eyes went from Igarashi's to Kazurai's over to the guy sitting with the scrolls around him. He still wasn't sure what to think of the new guy and wasn't sure what to expect him to do if anything at all. Renji kept looking back and forth between the three of them trying to read their faces to understand each of them better.

Igarashi nodded and took the kunai from Kazurai. "Sure, if that is what you want." As she then turned and put her kunai back in her satchel retrieving the 3 senbon she had thrown earlier from the floor also putting them away. Igarashi then looked over and saw the guy that had been watching her and Kazurai. "Seems like we attracted a little bit of attention." As she then pointed towards the guy notifying Kazurai to also look.
Renji stood up and went to stand next to Igarashi. He growled slightly as he passed Kazurai. He still didn't feel comfortable yet with him being that close to her. Sitting down at her feet he looked up at her waiting for other things to happen.

I couldnt help but watch the spar. Nice work you two. Keep it up and you two will make fine shinobi."

Igarashi giggled "Thanks, names Igarashi Yutakata-Oshi." As she pointed to herself. "And this is Renji, my familiar, companion or best friend whichever you prefer." She then patted Renji on the head who purred in his own weird way. She then pointed at Kazurai. "He's got a lot to learn still. But don't worry I will keep him in check." As she then bumped Kazurai with her elbow playfully. Her tail swaying back and forth while she spoke. She was really excited to be meeting someone higher then her.
Smiling she pointed to Myurai "So you gonna be our teacher?" She said a bit bluntly she was usually pretty straight forward when she was curious about something. She then started to play with her hair twirling it around her finger. She was all hyped up with energy from the little spar with Kazurai and she couldn't control it. She started to rock back and forth on her feet with her hands behind her.

He smiled a bit when the young woman with the really really hard to pronounce name introduced herself. He nodded and quickly replied with a bit of a chuckle," I'm defiantly going to need to find a nickname for you." When she asked if he was to teach them he had to be compleatly honest and said," I dont know, I would like to but its up to Milady Kin to decide not me. Though remember this. No matter who your assigned to you can learn from anyone. So if you need a hand with anything let me know. Its our job to teach all genin." He couldnt help but smile at that last part. Turning his attention to the second of the two the male, who in a rare display of over discipline snapped to attention. Myurai chuckled and said," Relax my friend your among friends. You dont have to be so formal with me. Others maybe some people get hung up on titles. Regardless its a pleasure to meet you." When he spoke of creating a jutsu Myurai's interest. He raised and eyebrow and said," Thats quite a feat for one so young. If its ninjutsu then I can probably be of help to you. Im an expert on ninjutsu theory and physics and rather good at suiton and fuuton. I can even use them both simultaneously. Tell me, What do you two intend to accomplish as shinobi?"

Igarashi smiled and jumped up and down and danced around all excited. She then realized again that she was in the wrong bowing she covered her mouth trying to hide her giggle. Taking in a deep breath she calmed herself really quick. "Ok well first off I wanna be a taijutsu master, so I can be all like wa-cha and butt-kickery and badassery and stuff." As she then did the moves that went along with her words. "Secondly I want to master the element of fire, cause its so pretty and bright like me." As she then posed all cutesy like. "Oh and you can call me Rashi, Kazurai here does."
Renji looked down at that moment and really felt ashamed of being with this girl. He then looked up almost pleadingly at Myurai to save him, but he knew that Igarashi would soon settle down it was after all her first day of being a genin and all.

Maybe she was dropped on her head a bit to much. When she spoke of wanting to be badass and mastering fire Myurai couldnt help but laugh as he replied," Young one, slow down. Your young you have alot of time to grow stronger. Your dreams will become yours but you must slow down and take your time. Trying to become too powerful to fast is an excellent way to make your desire to grow stronger into a lust for power." As he finished he formed a single seal as his chakra flared a bit and his eyes began to glow. With a quick flick of the wrist he froze the trace amounts of water in the air causing the fingers on his non-sealing hand to be covered in ice. He smiled and said," Tell me what you know of Katon?"

Igarashi stepped back like six steps and smiled. "Only like the normal basic's." As she then stood perfectly still closing her eyes she focused just the right amount of chakra into her lungs, she then opened her eyes which to Myurai seemed like they glowed a bit of a brighter shade of red. She then exhaled a small burst of flame from her mouth, it only lasted what only seemed like a second but she was proud of herself.
Renji nodded like a parent would when their child does something perfectly. Looking over at Myurai waiting for what he was going to say. He had this look to him like he was still trying to figure out how useful this guy would be to Igarashi, since he seemed to be a water user and he knew she was weak to it. Renji's tail moved back and forth along the floor kicking up little bits of dust here and there as his tail moved.
