Shizuka allowed the genin to go about his business, and barely noticed him consume the contents of the cylinder (if he was in eye shot.) Instead her trained sensory skills then picked up on Zahara and Tsukiko, alongside a... was that a ninja animal? Somehow, some way Shizuka felt a twinge in the atmosphere. She turned her head to the side deftly, reaching for a weapon as a hole opened, tearing in reality and blowing wind all over the office. Inside she sensed absolutely no ninja potential from the dark skinned male, clad in gray and black with long knotted hair like thick yarn. He was mouthing something, his skin starting to blemish with red. She could only make out two things: he was angry, and he was talking about ninja animals. As fast as the hole tore open, like it was never there it shut. She blinked twice, suddenly overcome with the knowledge that whatever had just happened was of such little importance that to even acknowledge it beyond fixing the npapers on her desk would be more harmful than helpful. She was then turned back to Tsukiko and Zahara's chakra signatures and walked to the door. Whatever they were waiting on... she decided she would be proactive since they hadn't simply entered. Upon reaching them she opened the door and looked at them with a smile. "New ninja or civilians coming to report a crime?" She was direct, smiling as warmly as she could. She so did enjoy doing the Raikage's work for him... even if she really really didn't.
Tsukiko squinted at the question from the assistant. "Ah, we're new shinobi!" She took a good look at the secretary, who seemed accustomed to handling these kind of tasks on the behalf of the Raikage. It made Tsukiko ponder over how many assistants the Raikage had, or had to have, in order to keep the village running smoothly. Or at least, the office running smoothly. "Has there been a significant increase in crime?" She inquired, forgetting about her headband acquisition. She hadn't noticed any excessive rowdiness or caution, though she also had been rather occupied in her ninja art studies, not to mention her bonding with her cheetah, Chi.
"The Raikage told us to pursue a civilian trade while we train in the shinobi arts. Does the KPD need any more assistance, by any chance?" Chi looked at her with a wary eye, but Tsukiko just smiled. No one's ever heard of a drug-searching cheetah, but Kumogakure was progressive and full of firsts. She was excited to help out the village in any way they needed her, and she was sure she'd look good in a police uniform anyhow. "Beyond the headbands, do you have any additional directives or advice?" She smiled, hoping her questions weren't a bother.

Finally back in Kumo and all rested up, Shion made her way to the Kage's office. Apparently, it was up to the entire squad to turn in their own AAR after each mission and deliver them to the Kage, a task Shion honestly dreaded. The girl looked down at her hand and looked at what was once a clean and neat piece of paper, but now was a tightly gripped and wrinkled wad. Her nerves were getting the better of her, and for good reason. I mean, she literally had to go up to the head ninja of the village, look him dead in the eyes, and say 'hey, I totally disobeyed a direct order and almost put the mission in jeopardy'. Oh boy... this wasn't going to be fun.
Once she made it to the offices, Shion took a moment to collect her nerves before walking up to the secretary's desk. Shion awkwardly shifted her stance from bearing her weight on one leg to the other and tried her best to unwrinkle the now slightly sweat stained paper in her hands be rolling it over chest. She leaned in to the secretary and half-whispered to her. "I... I um... I need to see the Kage. I need to deliver this to him," she stammered, presenting the worn and torn report, though still keeping it in her sweaty death grip. As always, Shion was a true beacon of professionalism.
Making her way through the office, Mizuki kept an eye out for that hunk of red hair and muscles named Shiro. While it would have been nice to catch the man, he was probably off doing something hands on since he wasn't the type to sit behind a desk all day. Instead all she'd find was a secretary and the younger girl whom had been in the original squad. Based on how the kid was shaking and acting all nervous they were probably scared shitless. No doubt about the fact that they had disobeyed orders and run off. "Cheer up hun, I hear they don't violently kill deserters any more~" she smirked. While it probably sounded way worse than she meant, she did feel sorry for the kid. At any rate she had a trip to the hot springs to go on. Pulling a folder filled with her reports from her bag Mizuki was quick to leave the info with the secretary.
The Report
AAR, Rescue Op to the Land of Tea
After mobilizing quickly our reinforcement squad lead by Natsumi Himura arrived in roughly one day's time from the distress call. Upon arrival at the mission area we found that the subordinate of the captured squad leader had assumed command. This Unki informed us that her remaining two squad members had disobeyed orders and run off on their own. Following introductions from our squad Natsumi declared herself to be a lone wolf and declined to learn more about either Kaneo's skills or my own. Unki accepted Natsumi's plan without paying attention to our suggestions or abilities thus Natsumi was given the green light to run off on her own.
After receiving an initial intel report, we lost radio contact with the woman. Upon arrival on the island where the captured squad leader was being held, our three man group came under fire from a mortar. While Unki ran for cover behind a rock I employed my kekkei genkai to produce an acidic attack which neutralized the shell and caused it to detonate with barely an electrical surge. From what I remember of these weapons, my actions very well might have saved the three of us from death or serious injury. After the initial shot, no follow up shells were deployed against us.
Soon contact was made with the missing squad members. The blind maid was injured due to a previous encounter with enemy combatants. The injuries had undergone some previous healing but I was tasked with fixing her broken ribs as she was unable to. While I was mostly able to finish the healing process we soon identified a fleeing airborne enemy. Before I could respond to the threat, I was teleported into a structure some distance away and Toso was dumped at my feet by Natsumi. Upon further examination he had sustained serious trauma primarily in the form of three large lacerations with significant flesh loss. His spinal column was visible in each of the three wounds. In addition to those injuries he was also suffering from blood loss and an unknown UHV developed toxin.
After stopping his blood loss and providing emergency first aid, I took a sample of the poison. The details I learned are as follows. While in the blood stream it is entirely clear and liquid, though while in the air it is order-less and invisible. While the stages of its effects are unknown to me, the short version is that it causes the body to slowly shut down until presumably death occurs. Toso had also suffered serious muscle atrophy while in UHV capture. From what I understand he and his clansman were subjected to medical experimentation and exposure to this unknown toxin. While performing this medical aid I also couldn't help but notice that Unki found time to screw around on the radio when calling to the blind maid.
After stabilizing Toso we returned to Kumogakure with haste. In closing I want to state on the record that a lack of access to medical resources presented a serious adversity on this mission. Having not been issues any supplies, and with no means of purchase I had to work solely with the medical arts. This is a serious issue that I hope to see taken care off. I'd also like to state that at present I have little confidence in the chuunin who were present on this mission, and find the prospect of following them into battle unpleasant as the nicest of terms I could pick. Between disobeying orders, a lack of training and expertise, inability to maintain order, poor leadership, and quick tempers / immaturity I simply must protest. Please consider this information.
On an additional piece of paper that was not part of the official report was another message to Shiro that was sort of like a cover letter. Sorry in advance daddy, I hate needing to write so formally and I hope it's okay~ Kinda like a second language for me so lets talk in private sometime and I can give you the report orally <3
After turning over the paperwork to the kage's secretary Mizuki glanced to Kaneo before sighing and heading out to the springs for some well deserved R&R. Both she and Kaneo deserved it after that mission. [Exit]
___The other element of the support squad kept mostly to himself, but gave Shion a reassuring wave and lighthearted smile even as Mizuki teased her. Kaneo similarly made a report on his activities, albeit one rather a bit shorter, as his role was rather a bit less direct than Mizuki's.
Appending mission report of Kumogakure Genin, Mizuki:
Following Mizuki's sudden disappearance, I engaged the flying enemy or enemy craft, the first such engagement that I was aware of; the nature of his device isn't exactly clear prior to interrogation. A kunai was able to damage his flight device, which subsequently crashed nearby, forcing him to flee on foot. Under orders capture the subject in question, I gave chase.
I captured the man mostly without incident. He fought back with a handful of explosive devices, of lethal and non-lethal effect. He also communicated via a radio of a sort, despite the interference we'd been encountering on our devices. He requested extraction before being knocked unconscious, and was given an eta of 3 minutes on the arrival of something called a Wyvern Class Multirole Combat Flier. In return the target became agitated, mentioning that someone named Ryouken was dead, if you wish to dig through the shadows for leads on that name. Otherwise the man was quite weak, and defeated rather easily. If the radio broadcast from this Multirole Combat Flier was to be believed, the man's designation was Chem-3, and the Multirole Combat Fliers are capable of supporting engagements at least, as they requested confirmation to open fire on me.
After completion of my assigned task within this mission, I regrouped with my squad to ensure security of the captive absent any restraining techniques in my arsenal. The rest of the mission should be amply covered by those with more direct involvement.
Kaneo also dropped off a series of reports on his other mission, but added a post script to Mizuki's extra note. "I'd be happy to join in on the oral report, if that's something you think you'd be interested in." Wighting with a flourish, that task was done, and he followed his green-headed companion to their much deserved relaxation destination. [/exit]

Zahara waited a bit longer with longer with his willing to wait growing ever thin as he was looking for their supposed escort for the office. Instead the people had came and gone with an increased pace to their steps, more seriousness set in jaws and hard stares. Word of some village shinobi returning to the village were the word of the mouth with some of the passing populace as Zahara casually listened in on the local gossip. He began connecting two and two together as familiar topics clicked from at the Dojo. There was a bit more to the Kage's short speech now as he assumed that these returning shinobi were out on a task against the UHV.
He didn't speak to the other Genin that arrived to outside this Tower with him as they waited on their Kage-assigned escort who didn't seem to be coming anytime soon. However the man did acknowledge the tamer's presence with a curt nod, arms still crossed and eyes taking in the people coming and going now in an increased pace. It was then the doors opened with someone looking to leave but their gaze settled upon him and the other woman, Zahara noticed the obvious rank and file of this one who've held an authoritative aura both in voice and stature.
Zahara shifted his weight from one leg to the other, finally uncrossing his arms and looked at this woman displaying a smile -- one he doubted in its sincerity. The other genin spoke pretty much for the both of them, Zahara taking a bit of solace in this fact for a change. But for a change he decided to break his usual routine silence.
"I'm here for official registration as a Shinobi." He said very matter of fact, splaying his arms at his side palms up as an exaggerated shrug. "We were waiting on someone, but it seems they're not coming. So let's cut to the chase, I need to get stuff going if I'm going to be a use for the village." Zahara recrossed his arms again with a slight grin that he hadn't exactly meant - only mirroring this woman's display of a casual smile.
"Standing in for one Tosokurui Ashi Hojo with the following report to be delivered unto the lord Raikage." A likely Taijutsu using nin came into the room. Whilst true Toso could have produced a clone to deliver the notary for him, he was after all told in due part to rest. As a result the no name man in question came in his stead to deliver the following.
Mission Summary:
~Prior to Endaishima Arrival
•The initial advance to Endaishima was fraught with little danger. The sea had a favorable current and the wind was on our side. There were no complications aside from fiery verbal exchanges between one Shion Moro and one Shokushu Ashikoki Hojo which ended on peaceful terms thanks to one Iwahime Ashikoki Hojo. Leading up to the events that transpired upon arrival, to prevent the destruction of the venturing vessel by the Islands defenses the ship anchored an approximated three miles offshore from the island of Endaishima. One Tosokurui Ashi Hojo, Ebihara Ashikoki Hojo, Shokushu Ashikoki Hojo, and Iwahime Ashikoki Hojo ventured towards the island in advance to secure safe passage for the vessels docking and to inform the villagers of guest arrivals. Complications arose.
~Endaishima Prior to Reinforcements
•Upon reaching the coast and advancing through the forest into the mainland I and my family were ambushed. My father putting up a fight attempted to resist four assailants who knew of our advance via information gathered by glass wolves of our approach. This assault ended in a total loss, as one individual was capable of a fuuin which sealed our bloodline abilities. The surprise, combined strength, and overwhelming number of assailants unfortunately proved to difficult for me to combat alone. At the behest of my father I fled to seek contact with the venturing party. Informing one Unki Amano, Shion Maro, and Xion Akagami of my current status. Fully prepared to die in exchange for their safety I relayed the following "This is my problem bloop. Shiro-nii entrusted me with your safety bloop. Please do not do anything reckless, I will consult Shiro-nii please stay on stand-by until then." Whether or not these orders were relayed by one Unki Amano and then followed is unknown to me as I had to cease communication as I was still actively being pursued. After a brief physical engagement with what I could only consider known to me as a Knight and a Neko-nin and almost producing a fatal blow to the latter I proceeded to make direct contact with the Lord Raikage. Following receiving the orders to await reinforcements another message was relayed to the venturing party under one Unki Amano's command to "await reinforcements" Likewise as stated before whether or not these orders were relayed by one Unki Amano and then followed is unknown to me as I had to cease communication as I was still actively being pursued.
~Endaishima Awaiting Reinforcements Pt. 1
One Tosokurui Ashi Hojo was successfully able to avoid capture and detainment on multiple occasion for a total of nine active hours. It was then that I was personally contacted by an individual by the name Gehin Tsubo. Having somehow identified my family lineage threatened their immediate execution unless I immediately turned myself over into his personal captivity, One Tosokurui Ashi Hojo resigned to these terms regretfully. Upon my detainment I was taken to what was formerly the Endaishima resident Inn and board. I was then taken into the storage room and from there taken into a man made structure that was not native to any of my knowledge to the island even further below. This facility contained several machinations in which I have never seen before. The one calling himself Gehin Tsubo was a thin pale man actively fiddling with these machinations. After being referred to as 'special' I was then submitted to the same incarceration as what befell the entirety of the Hojo upon the island. Attempts to contact the outside were unsuccessful, the reason to me unknown.
~Endaishima Awaiting Reinforcements Pt. 2 The following hours of my incarceration I bore witness to the one called Gehin Tsubo maliciously severing one of my Hojo clansmen's limbs with serrated devices. To say this was shocking for me...would be an understatement. after exclaiming profanities and dubbing the Hojo clansmen as a 'failure' and a 'hindrance to the final advance' the Hojo clansmen was threatened with execution. At this time one Tosokurui Ashi Hojo interjected producing his three tentacles without fear, willingly offering himself as martyr for his clan. The one known as Gehin stated clearly 'if you can survive the hell I fully intend to subject you to then I'll most certainly agree' One Tosokurui Ashi Hojo then on.... *The ink is smudged slightly and the handwriting becomes less legible* was subjected to several torturous injections with foreign liquid, removal of bodily fluids, several incisions upon his extra limbs, complete severance of his extra limbs 'slowly' without anesthetic or medical treatments between procedures. Awaiting death, and unexpecting rescue.
~Endaishima Aftermath Upon the final severance of my three limbs I could no longer endure. I likely collapsed shortly after from blood loss. What occurred after this was all unknown to me. I vaguely recall my being moved to a ship, and upon regaining full consciousness I was receiving a blood transfusion from the staff of Kumogakure's Azure Angel. I am uncertain if the reinforcements ever came or any of there actions. I firmly apologize.
~Aside Shiro-nii, I am well aware you could have let me die, and in truth I would not have blamed you if you did. To risk your own people for my sake says a lot. I can say now under no uncertainty Endaishima may always be my birthplace but Kumogakure will always be my HOME...AND I WILL DEFEND THIS LAND WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING AND USE THAT SAME FIBER TO MAKE SURE IT FLOURISHES...bloop. Additionally, While I may have lost my limbs I've been informed I'll be combat ready again rather soon.
While this was the end of the report there would be one more page beneath which would make one assume there was more. The next page of course was a detailed illustration of Mizuki's bare a** and legs. The one thing Toso saw before fading out of consciousness on the ship and recreated during his recovery. NOW, determining if it was MIZUKI's a** would require an actual comparison but it was feminine rear at least that was to be certain.

Natsumi walked into the office without a second thought. The Raikage had told her to be here so she wasn't going to waste time by any means. She was able to relax earlier for a bit but it didn't last long. Her eyes scanned the room with the many individuals inside while she stood against the wall next to the door. Her arms were crossed and she leaned against the wall propping herself up biding time until the Raikage showed himself. She had a copy of the report in her uniform if needed but she was just going to tell him what occurred if he asked. She was curious as to why she was brought to the office however when everyone else didn't seem to have to actually report in. Perhaps they did it earlier as the clones brought the corpses to Shiro.
● Mystic Hero: The user is much like a hybrid warrior, focusing on mixing ninjutsu into their personal arsenal. Through their great devotion to this path the user can cast ninjutsu without hand seals while wielding a weapon, D at D-rank, C at C-rank, B at B-rank, A at A-rank, and S at S-rank. These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use, as well as require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. The user’s spirit is so strong, that they can utilize their physical bukijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below.
● Resolution: The user is more determined to get fine details from his sensory techniques, but in order to get this type of clarity the user's range of the technique is reduced by half. The user is able to discover type of technique that is about to be active (fuuin, genjutsu, ninjutsu, custom jutsu, complex tai and buki), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. Additionally, the user can gain similar information about any chakra source in their sensory technique's range, including what bloodline the person possesses, assuming the user has seen the bloodline before, and approximately how large their chakra pool is.
● Resolution 2: Members of the Resolution discipline have three-quarters the range, instead of half.
● Skill: Multitasking While the first two stages of the style revolve around the very basics of how to use a bow, the third stage incorporates the use multiple arrows into a more stylish way of battling. Mastery allows the user to simultaneously fire multiple arrows with any technique that does not specifically state otherwise, and allows the Arrow Creation technique to create up to three arrows at once with no increase in cost.
● Skill: Manipulation Manipulating the bow itself is simple, but controlling the arrows is very difficult. Many enhancements can be made to arrows to give them different flight paths, but buying those kinds of arrows is expensive and making them is difficult, so a method was developed wherein the user can freely alter how an arrow flies without need for such trifles. During this training, the user practices firing arrows with abnormal hand positions. Reduces the Stamina cost of bow-related Bukijutsu techniques (including Formless Styles) by 10 Stamina, to a minimum of 5 Stamina.
● Manipulating Line An addition to the technique Calling Cord. By laying a good amount of additional chakra into the strings wrapped around the projectiles, the user is able to fully control the length, direction, and movement of the strings. Thus, allowing for incredibly diverse attacks from all angles. Automatically applied after learning.
● Kemuri no Shikaku [ Sight through Smoke ] The practitioner grows accustomed to the way smoke flows around them and others. The practitioner's vision is no longer adversely affected by their smoke bombs.
● Offensive Style: Knife Stances The user becomes more accustomed to upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions. Speed of all Bukijutsu employing small arms is mildly increased.
● Offensive Style: Simple Play With this training, the user is able to more comfortably switch between upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions in a pinch. The user's reflexes are mildly increased.
● Trick Style: Knife Toss The practitioner has developed a greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the hilt with ease. Confers a slight reflex bonus to the practitioner.
● Offensive Style: Artless Draw The practitioner has better developed their ability to pull their blade straight from its resting place to an offensive slash. Slightly increases the speed of strikes made when drawing a small weapon.
● Offensive Style: Two-fer-One The practitioner is now accustomed to performing techniques they have mastered with either one or two knives. Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique from this Style without paying the cost.
● Trick Style: Retreating Feet The practitioner, already acquainted with many techniques in the style, has finally realized that with a little bit of personal training, they are able to increase the precision and speed at which they lift and press their feet. The practitioner's footsteps are rendered silent to all who do not have enhanced hearing, and the footsteps they leave in soft ground are shallow. This not only assists their ability to sneak up on people faster and quieter, but also helps when running from trackers.
● Trick Style: Blade’s Edge The practitioner has developed an even greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the tip with ease. Additionally, some projectiles, such as shuriken or kunai, can be caught by their tip. Confers a slight increase to the user's reflexes. ● ● ● ● ● ●
Unki had spent her time composing her report. She sat through the a careful replay of recent events, recent memories, and tried to describe the necessity on paper. This report would eventually find its way to Shiro's hands, the military's head, an authority figure, and foremost her friend. Still, Shiro's title was beginning to weigh itself on her thoughts with each paragraph, each sentence, each word which managed itself on her final draft. This was the record of her first assignment, in the position of team leader, on paper. The girl's thoughts went to Shion and Xion's behavior and how her perspective on their actions didn't have to come out in this formal manner.
Travel from the village to our initial destination went smoothly aside from a minor disagreement between the client's family and the escorting group, however. Any disagreements went without too much conflict as I managed to persuade my subordinate to withdraw. The client's family is best described in one word: "handful" through means of their previous dialogue about our capabilities. Nonetheless, the initial completion went well. Toso escorted his family to Endaishima.
The wait was longer than necessary. Unknown to us, Toso and the Hojo people were admist conflict by invaders. His status did not reach us until a little over a day later. Toso relayed the request for us, Xion, Shion, and myself to wait until your orders. I chose to wait on your feedback under the circumstances that I did not want to risk the safety of my teammates and I had confidence in Toso's abilities. I felt Toso was capable of delaying the unknown enemy under the perception that he was aware my team was awaiting your orders.
I regret not acting sooner but with a lack of preparation and no way to communicate to the incoming team I felt I had little choice. The wait for the reinforcements came a day later. Before their arrival, my team took the liberty to go off without me. I will admit I felt their while their hearts were in the right place but I was, perhaps, blind to place my confidence in the instruction that they should remain.
The reinforcements came a few hours after sunrise and by then my subordinates were long gone. For a lack of not wanting to go into detail I can simply state that I wasn't enthusiatic about being disobeyed. I regret allowing the reinforcement leader, Natsumi, head out first.
However, my decision to allow her break away came from needing to find Shoin and Xion faster than the enemy. A physical body sent out to the island and gauge a real perspective on the matter resonated loudly with me. It would not be an incorrect assumption that my sense of concern for Shoin, Xion, Toso, and the Hojo clan had a hand in motivating one decision over the others offered by Kaneo and Mizuki.
By the time I arrived to the island with Mizuki and Kaneo, the only evidence of enemy forces Toso described were present in the form of a lone man with personal jetpack, an incoming projectile destroyed by Mizuki (understand that I had little to nothing in my personal power capable of destroying this head on) and the captured Hojo people. Shion and Xion reappeared on their own, however, obviously injured.
I'd say, whatever trials they endured may just be enough to have taught them a lesson about running off. Shion and Xion were able to defeat some of the enemy forces, if I recall correctly, but both sustained injuries. Yes, they both apologized for their actions. Their fate is in your hands. Furthermore, in reference to the captured man. I had ordered Kaneo and Mizuki to capture him, however, the reinforcement team's leader had a hand in de-railing that plan and forced Kaneo to head after it alone. Natsumi was ahead of us. Mizuki, Myself and Shion made it a priority to secure the Hojo people. Xion took the liberty to stay behind in case she was needed to aid Kaneo. Mizuki applied her skills to stabilze Toso while Shion, myself, and Natsumi worked to transition the remaining Hojo out of captivity. Afterwards, I tried to get ahold of Xion through the radio before we began to make way for departure. I also tied up the prisoner therefore the boat's crew isn't getting that rope back.
I had plans both obstructed and supplemented by the other team leader. I will deem this assignment a success in the face of the collective actions that occurred. I could not maintain my team. I had little in the means of contributing to the removal of the enemy presence but was able to contribute in the task of escorting the Hojo people.

Unki left her report with the receptionist and felt fortunate to be handing it in herself. As she left, Unki's thoughts changed from the fate of her temporary subordinates onto her own fate being left in the hands of a kage. ! Think of the ocean. The birds. The waves.... She would go to wait out her worries outside the building.

Making his way into the building Shiro saw several people around the Shizuku's desk. With a heavy sigh he passed them all taking the written reports in hand with a nod,"Lets go all of you." Mounting the stairs he proceeded with a tired step. Finally making it to his office he simply pushed open the door and proceeded to cross the room to open a few windows. Though normally this was where he would light a cigarette, but no, he did not.
Laying the reports onto his desk he motioned for the group to take a seat as he did,"Sit down relax a bit." Kicking his feet up onto his desk, the heavy boots made a resounding thump. Looking to both Tsukiko and Zahara he sighed and pulled two headbands from his desk,"Its annoying that you two dont already have your bands. Ill need to find me another assistant or something to prevent this sort of thing. The orders I gave you both still stand though. If there is nothing more your both dismissed." Turning his attention to the stand in he listened to Toso's report intently. The man had been the original leader of this mission adn his report carried the most weight accordingly. So making mental notes of its contents he dismissed the man with a wave of his hand and a nod,"Inform Toso hes to remain at the hospital for the time being, I would like to visit him in a moment. Also that his art skills need a bit of work." Pinching his nose he unrolled first Unki's report, then Mizuki's, then Kaneko's. Though with each and every single word he read he was starting to become more and more visibly irritated. Rolling the three up into one massive pile he sighed and rose to his feet,"I have three questions for each of you." Addressing Shion and Natsumi he began gesturing to Shion,"First, where is Xion. I do not see her nor any mention of her in any of these reports. Secondly, Before I decide on what to do about your blatant disobedience to orders, I want you to speak your half and give your report. I will not give a judgement without knowing both sides. You know the laws of this village, and you know the punishment for breaking it. I do not believe you did it out of malice but that doesn't excuse it. So tell me why. Third, have you been to the hospital? This report says you were injured."
Facing Natsumi he began his questions for her,"First, did you send a ******** clone to report to me? Secondly in all three of these reports your inability to work as a team was made apparent. I am proud of your ability to fight but I am equally disappointed in your leadership skills and complete and utter inability to work as a part of a team. So my question to you is did you view your comrades as more effort then they were worth? Were they an inconvenience to you? Or do you simply care more about looking good then you do about your god damn comrades. I know how hard you have trained, I know how hard you have been working in the forges, which makes this all the more infuriating."
Facing both of them he continued,"Why? I know your combat skills are acceptable but, if these reports are to be believed you two almost hindered the mission as much as you helped it. I want you to understand something, I dont believe in that results over lives bullshit. You may have destroyed your combatants but you did it alone, you showed courage and clarity of thought respectively, but inability to cooperate."Taking a deep breath he continued,"Natsumi, How in the hell can I promote you to chuunin when you cant LEAD. When Unki blundered you could have stepped up and led this mission but instead you chose to ******** off and play the hero. Why?"

"Are you ******** kidding me!?" Natsumi shouted out to the man as she was beyond furious with him. Right now he had more in common with a child right now than an actual leader as he was throwing a temper tantrum. She let him have every ounce of her rage at this moment as he had deserved it. "Yeah I had clones bring you the bodies, I had clones bring you the report, because I thought it was more important for me to express to the team, the ones you assigned to me at the last minute, how good of a job they did! I thought that'd be better in person and someone like you would understand the importance of strengthening a team! My inability to work as a team came from the fact I have no idea how to be a leader! I even said I wasn't good in group combat before Unki gave permission to scout the island going even further in depth with the team as well, as I have never fought on a team! You assigned a team to me and send us out on a mission before I'm able to learn about them, learn how to lead, and learn how to fight with them!? Learn their strengths, their weaknesses, and what they are truly capable of and think I wanted to show off on this mission!? That a viewed them less than equals? Is that right!? When the reality was I knew I was the weak link of the team and handed them over to an experienced leader! Because I knew she wouldn't get them killed that I may very well have! You put me in a ******** situation where I was going to get them killed! Rather than just ******** waiting to get me the actual experience I needed to lead them and train them! To become a ******** family with them!"She briefly paused to let out a sigh in regards to this situation.
Not but a second later she began to talk about what was going on. "I went to the island first to scout after getting approval from the chuunin in charge, encountered two shinobi and thought it be best to take one out, to make the arrival safer for the others. I did just that and shunshined to the other end of the island leaving clones in multiple spots. Found an area where my sensory couldn't breach and made my way into the building. Only to have the enemy's clone tell me she was out of there and told me where the hojo were and that they'd be dead soon. I rushed to them only to find Toso almost dead and his clan in danger of a poison. Busted them out and carried Toso up myself and began to direct the Hojo. Getting them out as I saw Mizuki in the distance and substituted with her having her heal Toso saving his life. Then Unki and another arrived to help get the Hojo out. We saved every single one of them. I don't regret doing a single thing I did on that mission as I followed orders, accomplished the mission, and got everyone out alive! If you don't like me following orders fine, if you don't like me admitting I was the weak link fine, If you're going to try and ******** me over from the start fine,I'll do s**t my way. After all you told me Unki was in charge from the start. So again I was following orders. Yet your orders are never clear because you keep changing everything for me every day. Whether i'm to start training to be an oinin member, a two man team meant for scouting, and finally a full on real shinobi team. Kind of ******** when you think about it because I've trained in solo combat up until the moment you assigned the team to me. Did you expect me to drop all of that training in a second and just say ******** it? To be able to lead a team as an experienced shinobi when I just graduated not to long ago? When I've been training to be a solo scout this entire time?"
With that being said she placed the report on the desk. A report that would give details going back from when she was assigned the mission. Her feelings were located no where in the report and stated only the facts. Everything that happened and was said around her went into it. With her other hand she took off the special headband he gave her and put it on the report. The horned headband had seen better days as it was chipped and scarred from battle. The Kanji still showing gloriously as it stood for 'Duty'. Everyone who had submitted a report had lied about why she went to the island ahead of them and alone. "Here's your headband back, I'll just make my own." She no longer trusted a single ******** one of them. They provided the parameters of the mission and weren't happy with her because she gave it her all to save the Hojo and keep her team safe. With that being said she left the room as she didn't even trust herself around them. A dark feeling crept from the back of her mind and began to claw at the entrance of her thoughts. Like a dog begging permission to be let in only to raise havoc. She closed the door behind her and continued to make her way out of the building. [exit]
● Mystic Hero: The user is much like a hybrid warrior, focusing on mixing ninjutsu into their personal arsenal. Through their great devotion to this path the user can cast ninjutsu without hand seals while wielding a weapon, D at D-rank, C at C-rank, B at B-rank, A at A-rank, and S at S-rank. These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use, as well as require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. The user’s spirit is so strong, that they can utilize their physical bukijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below.
● Resolution: The user is more determined to get fine details from his sensory techniques, but in order to get this type of clarity the user's range of the technique is reduced by half. The user is able to discover type of technique that is about to be active (fuuin, genjutsu, ninjutsu, custom jutsu, complex tai and buki), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. Additionally, the user can gain similar information about any chakra source in their sensory technique's range, including what bloodline the person possesses, assuming the user has seen the bloodline before, and approximately how large their chakra pool is.
● Resolution 2: Members of the Resolution discipline have three-quarters the range, instead of half.
● Skill: Multitasking While the first two stages of the style revolve around the very basics of how to use a bow, the third stage incorporates the use multiple arrows into a more stylish way of battling. Mastery allows the user to simultaneously fire multiple arrows with any technique that does not specifically state otherwise, and allows the Arrow Creation technique to create up to three arrows at once with no increase in cost.
● Skill: Manipulation Manipulating the bow itself is simple, but controlling the arrows is very difficult. Many enhancements can be made to arrows to give them different flight paths, but buying those kinds of arrows is expensive and making them is difficult, so a method was developed wherein the user can freely alter how an arrow flies without need for such trifles. During this training, the user practices firing arrows with abnormal hand positions. Reduces the Stamina cost of bow-related Bukijutsu techniques (including Formless Styles) by 10 Stamina, to a minimum of 5 Stamina.
● Manipulating Line An addition to the technique Calling Cord. By laying a good amount of additional chakra into the strings wrapped around the projectiles, the user is able to fully control the length, direction, and movement of the strings. Thus, allowing for incredibly diverse attacks from all angles. Automatically applied after learning.
● Kemuri no Shikaku [ Sight through Smoke ] The practitioner grows accustomed to the way smoke flows around them and others. The practitioner's vision is no longer adversely affected by their smoke bombs.
● Offensive Style: Knife Stances The user becomes more accustomed to upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions. Speed of all Bukijutsu employing small arms is mildly increased.
● Offensive Style: Simple Play With this training, the user is able to more comfortably switch between upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions in a pinch. The user's reflexes are mildly increased.
● Trick Style: Knife Toss The practitioner has developed a greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the hilt with ease. Confers a slight reflex bonus to the practitioner.
● Offensive Style: Artless Draw The practitioner has better developed their ability to pull their blade straight from its resting place to an offensive slash. Slightly increases the speed of strikes made when drawing a small weapon.
● Offensive Style: Two-fer-One The practitioner is now accustomed to performing techniques they have mastered with either one or two knives. Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique from this Style without paying the cost.
● Trick Style: Retreating Feet The practitioner, already acquainted with many techniques in the style, has finally realized that with a little bit of personal training, they are able to increase the precision and speed at which they lift and press their feet. The practitioner's footsteps are rendered silent to all who do not have enhanced hearing, and the footsteps they leave in soft ground are shallow. This not only assists their ability to sneak up on people faster and quieter, but also helps when running from trackers.
● Trick Style: Blade’s Edge The practitioner has developed an even greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the tip with ease. Unki spent her wait outside near the door. She wordlessly followed him back inside and felt surprised he didn't notice her. Perhaps a lot was on his mind? No questions, comments, greeting, aside from a nod and command. He must have a lot on his mind. But the lack of words from Shiro would be fair to dismiss. Kaneo and Mizuki had no yet returned. Shion and Natsumi were still lingering. Xion, on the other hand, was still not accounted for. Two other presumable shinobi were waiting too. A young woman with voluminous hair and a dark haired young man who, at first glance, could very well be the same height as Unki.
The group all followed Shiro's trail to his office. In time, Shiro passed headbands to the newest graduates and moved his attention to the report. While he invited the group to be seated, Unki hesitated before inching to actually take a seat. It was polite to sit when offered in business setting, yes? She tried to watch him closely while his attention was over three reports. Her attempt at trying to identify any suspicious facial queues went to waste. Her thoughts jumped from formulating hopeless guesses about whatever Shiro was thinking and stuck to the number of present reports. Three? Why are there only three? Who all submitted a report? Who hasn't submitted a report!? Keep focused. Focused on what again? Right, right, what I might have to say. A slow inhale and exhale came and went. Head up. We all survived.
Before she could begin to start feeling relaxed Shiro had begun the act of "chewing them out" and Unki perked right up. He pressed for a laundry of list answers from the other two but not yet from herself, the chunin. With the outrage from Natsumi, Unki couldn't resist holding back her alarm. It was here at the end that Unki at last learned of the fate of the rest of the invading forces: she knew Shion and Xion took one on, and she only assumed Natsumi took at least one on with the corpses she hauled home (that is, if you count man and beast as 'one' ) and didn't imagine she had taken on anymore than that.. Maybe, she thought only able to withhold her tongue, it would have better if I had instructed her not to engage and focus on finding the other's first and foremost.
After Natsumi stormed out, Unki couldn't help but identify a flaw with her argument: Unki doesn't have much in the means of group experience. Most of the chunin's tactics are suited in case she is engaging in a one on one fight. Being appointed a "team leader" means, as Unki understood it, that one must put forth the effort to try leading.
Her brows furrowed. While her head remained raised and forward, one could see that her sights settled to a space in front of her. A reflection of her own actions, the decisions, and the question of the accounts from another's perspective. Experience, huh?

Tsukiko flinched as the Raikage came in and put his boots up on his desk. Something in his demeanor had changed greatly from the charismatic leader she'd met just moments before. She was a statue before him as he sighed at her and Zahara, reaching for two headbands and handing them over. He complained about his poor secretary - who Tsukiko sent an apologetic glance to - and shook her head when he mentioned them having anything else for him. He dismissed them both, then, and she gave a hurried but deep bow and escaped the room as quickly as she could, feeling suffocated by the increase of shinobi following the Raikage like ducklings to their mother - an angry mother, at that.
Chi picked up on Tsukiko's unease but seemed rather amused at the whole thing. The cheetah wasn't familiar with hierarchies in general, being in an exotic zoo her whole life, but she seemed to find in humor in seeing Tsukiko hustle and fret over small, everyday things.
Shion's eyes quickly darted to the floor once Shiro walked into the building. She followed along as he gestured for those still in the area to accompany him to his office and waited for him to say his piece. Even as Natsumi blew up at the kage and stormes our, Shion kept her gaze towards the floor. Once Shiro had said what he needed to say and finished dealing with the others, Shion slowly handed him the crumpled letter. She tried to explain things as he read, like where Xion was or any other details, but only mustered out a nervously weak "I... I dont know," not really answering anything clearly. Luckily, it was all there in her report. Hopefully The Kage could piece together the newbie's incoherent writing better than she could piece together a sentences...

[Written upon a sweaty and heavily crumpled piece of paper from being gripped to death in one hand. The writing is kind of sloppy and there are many marked out sentences and words. All in all, a very unprofessional looking work.] It all started at the village gates. The whole party, which included Toso, his family, Unki, Xion, and I, departed and made our way through the Lightning Country. It is here that Toso's stupid dad began to run his mouth, so I tried to set him straight Toso's father and I had a brief altercation, but Unki intervened and stopped anything before it could escalate. We managed to make it to the Raijin Bay with no problems and boarded our ship. After a day's travel, we finally arrived at the island. We laid anchor a few kilometers away from the shore and waited to depart. Before we were even ready, Toso just ran off with his stupid family and left us body guards behind In the morning, Toso left for the island without telling us, but apparently came under enemy attack and was captured. I'm not too sure, his message was fuzzy and cut out a lot. It was here that Xion forcibly teleported me to the island with her and I went against Unki's orders and left for the island. Immediately upon arrival, we were under enemy attack. Using what we learned in the academy, we were able to lose one pursuer, kill the wolves, and isolate the heavily armored knight. I faced his in one on one combat where I totally kicked his a** was able to dispatch of the enemy combatant. In the process, I received a nasty blow to my chest and broke my ribs. The next part is honestly a blur, but Xion managed to somehow transfer the damage from me to her. I managed to get the two of us to where the other team had made landfall and Unki reassumed command. She lead us to a small warehouse where Toso and the other Hojo were being held. With the aid of some ninja i didn't recognize, we were able to free them. Unki and I helped the Hojo villagers out of the area. Once everyone was out of clear and present danger, I began to administer first aid and disaster response relief to the villagers. That's all I know I messed up, but please don't blame Unki for this. She gave an order and we broke it. I'm sorry.
