"The big man wants me to fill out some paperwork for my promotion to chuunin," she said plainly enough. Hopefully this would be taken care of quickly.

The receptionist offered a simple but sincere smile as she extended a small folder before the young lady,"Congratulations on your promotion. If you would please just sign here, here, here, initial here, and sign here. You'll be all good to go." In turn she pointed to various places on the papers within the folder naming what she would need to do at each of them. Reaching under he desk she pulled a small chuunin vest and layed it onto the table.
Making his way into the office building Shiro waved to Shizuku,"Shi, please inform the Daimyo and the elders I am ready for the meeting." Though with his mind as scattered he could only muster a simple "Hey" to Mizuki. Mounting the stairs he could only climb one at a time until he reached the top. This was the longest climb he had ever made, yet he did not know why. Pushing open his office door he slid the "raikage" hat onto his head, and the long yellow and black cloak onto his shoulders. Why did he not wear that cloak more often? He hated the hat but the cloak was ok.
Pushing the door back open he headed into the meeting room to see a handful of monitors. Taking his place in the large chair he waited while one by one they each lit up to reveal the wrinkled pampered faces of the elders and finally the Daimyo. Tipping his head to the men and women in turn he began,"I come before you under the gravest of circumstances. With a heavy heart I must inform you about the destruction and extermination of the people of Saizen. The UHV have infiltrated and exterminated the city. Now they seek to occupy it as a staging area to mount an attack farther in land to strike the village of Kumogakure and your place city, Lord." Giving the "leaders" a moment to process that information he continued,"We also have two shinobi behind enemy lines trapped in the city, members of the team I sent to investigate the situation. We are preparing for a counter attack to push them out of their position but as this is an act of war, I cannot respond in kind without your approval."
For a time there was nothing but silence before the Daimyo spoke finally,"You will not engage them. Deploy your shinobi around the palace city. Your village can be rebuilt. Its a shame about the civilians there but they are insignificant next to my own. You have your orders, execute them as I have instructed." The very proposition was insanity to him,"Sir, my duty is to protect this village and its people. To act as both this countries sword and shield. I will not turn my back on them." The man spoke simply and with every word the man spoke shiro's blood pressure went up,"Your DUTY, is to protect ME, your DUTY is to do whatever I tell you. If you cannot do that I will find another Raikage." With that before Shiro could even respond the screens went blank and so did Shiro's mind. Overwhelmed with anger. He had been ordered to sacrifice his village to give a ******** pompous a** time to worm his way out of this. Slamming his fist into the desk he shattered it into a swarm of shrapnel creating a booming thud through the tower. Accompanied by Shiro's voice,"GOD DAMN SON OF A b***h." The next few moments or so filled the tower with the sounds of walls being punched, screens being shattered and lightning detonating.

As Shiro went on his violent rampage, he would hear a sound, much like one clearing his throat. Cason had been informed by the receptionist the Raikage's meeting had just concluded and to head on in. To his surprise, he found the door ajar and the room half destroyed. "Sorry, is now a bad time" He asked, rather meekly. It would be his luck to graduate right as the Raikage was in a bad mood. Oh well, nothing he could do now. Best try to ride this thing out. He had a nervous smile on his face. He had heard the guy was strong but was unaware he was this temperamental. Note to never piss him off- registered.
Mizuki simple smiles and signed all the places where she was requested to do so. As her name only consisted of two characters it was simple. She had no surname so indeed it didn't take to sign off on the papers. In exchange for the signatures she received a chuunin vest from the receptionist. Eyeing it with suspicion she tried the armor and found that it did fit. The weight would take some getting used to and she wasn't fond of how it covered her awesome midriff but whatever, the burdens of authority as it were. Zipping up the jacket Mizuki's attention was soon occupied by the appearance of Shiro. The knowledge that he would be meeting with the Daimyo intrigued her.
After Shiro walked into his office and Shizuku had gone back to work, Mizuki silently walked in the direction of the Raikage's office. Hanging out in the hall she listened in on the conversation at hand. The words didn't make sense to her at first. He must of have been talking about some other Seizan right? Why would they destroy her hometown? There was nothing there. Farmers, traders, and the girls. That was it. The fact that she even had a kekkei genkai was a fluke. Nobody there even knew how to fight. But then she had never heard of anywhere else by that name. More than likely her mother was dead. As the news set in the rest of the words simply faded from her mind. Shinobi behind enemy lines, the Daimyo's selfishness? She'd probably feel some type of way about that later when the shock had passed. Leaning against the wall she quickly slumped to the ground with a noticeable thud. All she had left in this world now was Kaneo.

Just as quickly as his rage came, upon hearing the males voice, it disappeared. Gesturing for the man,"Office, ill be there in a moment." Taking a few deep breaths he took a moment to adjust his attire to gain some amount of composure. Walking through the doorway however his composure was tested by Mizuki. Letting out a light breath he quickly came to the realization that she had heard the news. He had hoped to break it to her privately when the time was right, but it seemed fate had other ideas.
Taking a knee next to the woman he struggled to find a place to begin. How could he say what he felt? What would he say? What COULD he say to help her. To shoulder some of the pain his friend felt? It soon became apparent to the man that no words would suffice. After all nothing anyone said to him when the same thing happened to his home helped him any.
Letting out a light sigh he, if she allowed him, would lightly pull her into a hug. His left hand would cradle her head into his shoulder,"Your not alone Mizuki. I will always be there for you. Even if you do not want me to."

Cason was more than happy to get out of the room. As he was instructed, he left the conference room and walked down the hall to his office. He smiled at a pretty green haired women in the hallway, but otherwise didn't stop. He took a seat in the Raikage's office and began his wait.

The moment she was cradled in Shiro's arms, Mizuki began to cry. The news was simply overwhelming. Being a b*****d she had few things in life, for the longest time she had two. Her lifelong friend, and her mother. Hows does one deal with losing one of those? She didn't know and despite everything she knew about psychology, dealing with such a blow was quite difficult when one was at the center of it. She just sat there crying it out, until finally she spoke up. "Please tell me we're going to kill them" she whispered softly. That's all she wanted right now. Who exactly she meant by that was unclear but it was clear that she wanted to hurt them.
He had never seen Mizuki cry, nor had he expected her to. After all she seemed the type to brush it off and cry about it later. While he held her he lightly stroked her hair. Though her question surprised him, not that it was out of character but that, she wanted to kill them not simply HURT them like he figured she would want. Pressing her head into his shoulder he nodded,"Yea, were going to make them bleed for this one regardless of what the Daimyo wants." Releasing her he rose to his feet and extended a hand,"But I need you in the game on this. I need your head square. I know it hurts, I know you want blood. But you have to lock that down. Put it in a box for now. Please."

Cason drummed his fingers on the desk as he waited for the Raikage, surprised that it was taking the youth as long as it was. 'Ah well, I can try again tomorrow, he's probably busy' Taking a piece of scratch paper, Cason wrote out a note
"You seemed busy, I'll come back later-Cason Titus"
And placed it on the Raikage's desk. Happy that he was now able to go home, he opened the Raikage's office door, stepped out, took a right and immediately came face to face with the embracing couple. Cason let out a soft sigh. It was one thing or the other with this Kage huh? Cason began to scoot on by them, turning sideways and pointing to the exit to the building "Yeah, uh sorry, I'm just leaving. Didn't mean to interrupt" Nervous laughter, and a sweatdrop of awkwardness appeared "Right, yeah, door's this way, so I uh...see ya" By this point he had scooted past them and was backing away from the two, bowing awkwardly to the Raikage
Grabbing his hand firmly she left the water on her face to continue to roll instead of rubbing it with her fingers and smearing her makeup. It would dry in time and slowly but surely she worked through the initial shock inside her own mind. It didn't really help that much, but some of her psychology training was helpful. "Anything for you daddy..." she managed to say with some confidence though it sounded far more depressed than her usual smokey voice. Still she was not one who couldn't keep things in check. Her kekkei genkai had made sure of that by forcing her to learn self control and thinking things through. If she hadn't her own abilities would be a danger to her allies. Taking a deep breath she left go his hand and straightened out her jacket. Her mind started buzzing with notes on the things she needed to get done going forward. For starters medical supplies, she needed them. Secondly getting some time to access the scrolls on iryojutsu restricted to chuunin rank would have to be done as well. Thinking of these helped to distract her from the pain and bloodlust.
That was when the other redhead broke her thought train. "Where do you think you're going?" she asked in a very cool tone. If her memory served her right then the man was told to wait in the office for Shiro. Disobeying that showed impatience and possible insubordination. Such things would no doubt lead to... punishment.

Well with Mizuki up and at em he would lightly brush his hair back before facing the young man he motioned with a finger to follow. Though in no uncertain terms was it a request. Taking a seat in his office he kicked his feet up onto the heavy oak desk and waited for the two to file in after him. Once they were he would begin,"I don't like repeating myself. If I told you to go to the office it means go there, and stay there. Not ******** off while I am seeing to my shinobi. Clear?" Reaching into his desk he quickly rifled through a few files until he picked one up and set it onto the desk. Thumbing it open he began to rifle through it,"Cason Titus. Newly graduated gennin hopeful. Medical shinobi candidate." Looking between Mizuki and the young man he continued,"Mizuki, hes yours to round out your team. You have twenty four hours to get him up to snuff. If hes not ready for battlefield triage by tomorrow hes to remain in the village and get the hospital's triage ward ready. I anticipate a fair number of casualties within the next couple days." Reaching into his desk he set a simple headband onto the desk and gestured to it,"Its your Cason. But know this, I tolerate neither disrespect nor disobedience. You will follow every order your given to the letter unless it violates your moral code at which point we will talk about it privately. Make no mistake, we are at war and an army is a machine. It cannot have a single cog out of place."

The Raikage was crazy. He decided it then and there. Well, maybe not crazy, but he was a maniac in the truest sense of the word. Every exchange he had with the guy led him to believe he didn't feel emotions in degrees of severity; everything was always 100%. He couldn't be mad- he would be furious. He couldn't be enamored- he would be in complete love. To each his own, he figured, but such a lifestyle seemed exhausting to him. It made the bones beneath his skin squirm. Cason tucked his tail between his legs and walked back into the Raikage's office "I was just trying to be considerate..." He thought to himself. Sitting down, he listened to the Raikage's speech, a very ooh-rah motivational kind of thing. In reality, it simply further added credence to his theory and reminded him why he would rather be in a lab than where he was right now. Cason simply nodded, not verbally responding as he was not asked a question. Upon realizing the green haired woman in the room with him was to be his teacher, he snuck a glance in her direction and then immediately snapped his eyes forward. Beauty aside, he had no clue who she was nor what she could do. But, again, it wasn't hit call. He was just the kid in the chair.

Her return led her to the administration building. Don't ask her how, don't ask her when, but somewhere along the way Unki had prepared a written report to hand in to the secretary and, killing two birds with one stone, turned in her completion of the previous teaching assignments. Unki's visit was simple: walk in and eventually to the secretary's desk, hand in her report and miscellaneous slips of important papers, bowed and takes her leave back through the exit. See? Simple. Off to the academy!

Mizuki looked the man up and down, he was young but he appeared to be an adult unlike the redheaded kid Shiro had put in her squad. That was at least one step better. The more important thing though was that he was a medical candidate. She could work with with that. Playing doctor was fun. "Sure thing daddy~ Caso-kun I look forward to teaching you. With any luck I'll be able to whip you into your position soon enough♪" Of that she was definitely hopeful. With war apparently looming they were going to need more people in the field. The hospital was already staffed fairly well and the more they could field treat the easier of a time they would have at the home office. As she got back into "mission mode" it helped with putting her emotions away inside of a box like Shiro had asked. She did her best to muster a smile and her usual attitude. "Since I don't think we've ever had the pleasure of crossing paths before I guess I should fill you in on who you'll be working under~"
Innuendo's aside, she was probably one of the better squad leaders for him to be assigned to. Besides being a medic herself she had also completed her residency at the hospital. "I'm trained in numerous medical techniques, and completed my residency at the village hospital. Though my specialty is psychology I'm still trained in basic mundane medical practices like any other doctor of Kumogakure. Of course outside of that I can melt anything with my steam and I can sense chakra like others can smell or hear."
