Amy's eyes widened at Iggies. "You haven't named your pets yet?!"
Amy looked at Velcore and laughed softly at how large his eyes widened when they landed on the tray of treats she was carrying.
"Hey, Velcore! Guess what I've brought you tonight!!"

Amy smiled down at the new pony that came into the bar. "Aww. Very cute, Iggies."
Up on her head, though, which was Thistle's new favorite place, was glaring down at the new pony who Velcore was greeting. She blew air out of her mouth loudly in frustration.
Amy winced and reached up with her free hand to touch the top of her head. "I'm glad that was dry air, Thistle..."

Thistle's frown disappeared quickly when Velcore touched his nose to hers. She nuzzled Velcore back and softly squeaked. That's right! She was the pony that Velcore should be focused on...
Amy wasn't entirely sure what was wrong with Thistle, but since she was young and Velcore seemed to be her best friend, she could guess.
"I think she's jealous of the attention you're giving to the other pony, Velcore. I'm sorry about that. She's young and probably doesn't know better right now."

Thistle frowns again and then turns her head away from Velcore and huffs in frustration.
Amy sighed and shook her head... which was weird since Thistle was still up there. "Good grief... she's as stubborn as I am. Sorry about this, Iggies. At least she's not running in fear this time. That's gotta be an improvement, right?"
She laughed softly.

No worries hun. My critter take to some instantly, others they are reserved with. All critters, wild, natural or otherwise have histories like us humans do.
