Salieri nodded and crouched low, keeping her gravity as far down as possible while dashing across the lake floor. Her speed was lowered here, but she was strong enough to still keep herself relatively quick. Her run was an equivalent to a good butterfly stroke in speed as she closed in the distance between herself and Emi quickly.
Once she was in close, she lunged forward and planted her hands on the ground, spinning around to raise both of her legs out at Eunmi's waist. It wasn't an attack move: her feet would lock together behind Eunmi's waist so she could create a leg lock to pull the other trainer closer in.
If that worked, she'd silmultaneously let go of the ground and pull herself up to Eunmi using her leg hold as leverage with a forward palm strike to try and take the breathing device off in the first attack.
Wukong was just as confused as D-Vee. He had expected a retaliation while he was in this awkward position. Curious, the Monferno flipped himself over to turn around, looking at D-Vee a short distance away with skid marks trailed into the ground behind him.
[What was that supposed to be?] he asked, his tone of mix of annoyed and bewildered.

' Supersonic is a confusion-inducing move, right? Here's me deciding not to use Petilil... oh well' "Nice try!" Wayne yelled, "Vacuum Wave!" At his command, Hitmonlee shot forward, chased by an air vacuum; the effect being that the drastic change in air pressure would feel -to the opponent- like a brick wall slamming into you. Because Hitmonlee was using his enhanced leg strength and full body to utilize the technique, it was a lot stronger than if he just kicked or punched the air really hard. Regardless, he'd use this move to get in close to his opponents. Sonics can't travel across a vacuum so Supersonic would be diffused. He'd reappear just past the two pokémon, an equal distance from each as the Baku finished using its Calm Mind technique. If they could follow Hitmonlee's sudden burst forward, then to keep track of him the two would have to turn nearly all the way around. While Hitmonlee was still in mid air and at close range, he had a platform to stand on; namely the "Barrier!" that Solosis generated behind him. The psychic itself was staying far back, supporting Hitmonlee from the sidelines. The fight type landed on the slanted, mid-air barrier, kicking off so that he was diagonally above Baku, his foot snapping down like a rubber band as he kicked off a half-strength Earthquake. By sacrificing Earthquake's power, he could use it much more quickly than normal. Still, it was strong, and if it hit then Baku would most likely be sent crashing into the ground like a comet - its bottom half stuck in the soil. -- Elizabeth got her refund. The teller had attempted to haggle another button going missing, but when he checked out what was already on display he seemed to trade minds with a benign zombie. "Castelia Tonight isn't on... tonight," Elizabeth said, correcting Artemis, "I think it's on either tomorrow or the day after." And unless Artemis had reason to stay, they would then be able to leave into the city. "I heard this place is called 'The City of Art'," said the woman as she stretched, "I'd like to see more of it, y'know?" Elizabeth's arms dropped and she quickly drew an Item Ball from her pocket and cracked it open; grabbing the object as it materialised, it appeared as if Elizabeth was pulling a jacket from a tiny ball. She pulled it on. And freeing her hair, she said, "So, did you find anything nice? I'm just gonna go ahead and assume you've looked at all the artwork in town."

[I don't know,] D-Vee said, lowering to the ground, tail in hand again, making use of his time. He wasn't sure if he could do that again, but he was glad to know he could move that fast.
Eunmi moved in as she saw Salieri making her way over. Sal was fast, but you could still see the movements, even though there were likely trails of bubbles distorting exactly what was going on. Eunmi saw the flip, and feet moved to close in around her, but she grabbed at them, forcing her arms wide and up to push Sal's feet back and apart. She would duck, after attempting to reverse the flip, to make a quick grab at the breathing device.

Darumi noted Mochi's bouncing around. With all of the training and sparring he decided to do some of his own. So, he'd roll over.

Mochi bounced up and down in reply. Then he hopped over Darumi and continued to bounce.

"Not particularly," Artemis frowned. "There's a lot of Burgh's art in some of the warehouses. He's really popular right now - well, I guess he's always been..."
Artemis zipped up her own jacket before pocketing her hands.
"I liked some of the lesser known stuff," she nodded. "At warehouse 29 - you could really tell from the craft and the detail that the artist was very emotional-"
She paused, smiling apologetically.
"I think it's best for the art to speak for itself," Artemis said. "Don't let me sway your opinion of Burgh's artwork or try to impress you with some unknown artist you've never heard of."

With a clear mind and it's psychic abilities heightened, Baku had no need to turn around, since it was kind of obvious he was behind him. It's eye sparked and Telekinesis was used before the kick could connect, without regard for Avan's command. The attack would aim to hold Hitmonlee in place, by definition, making it float to make it easier to hit -with it's evasion stat removed-.
"Hypnosis. Uproar." If that worked, then that would have been Avan's command. Uproar would happen regardless. Baku would turn and send it to sleep. George would proceed to do tiny bunny hops while causing an uproar comparable to loud shouts and screams. The attack hit a random opponent, so if it hit, then it could have been either Hitmonlee or the Solosis.

Was that a yes? Darumi didn't know. Instead he'd launch a half efforted headbutt toward Mochi to see if he'd respond.

Salieri let go of the ground, allowing Eunmi to flip her over. As she spun, her face came closer to Eunmi's outstretched arm.
Just like she had done with Fried the Combusken the day before, Salieri grabbed onto Eunmi's arm and used it to pull herself, moving out of the way of the grab while swinging under the Asian girl's limb. The Battle Girl's swing was wide, and it ended with her flipped right side up and right above Eunmi.
She bent her legs and grabbed her feet behind her, trying to force all her weight downwards knees first to drop onto Eunmi's back. The move wouldn't have too much force thanks to the water lowering her speed, but it would be able to knock Eunmi to the ground and hopefully bounce her up enough that Salieri could quickly slip off the other girl's breather while descending.
Meanwhile, Wukong shrugged. Well whatever, that was just a hiccup in their fight. Time to keep going.
He traveled once again with Mach Speed, landing right in front of the path of D-Vee's brush. Unless the paint stroke was going in a radically different direction, D-Vee would have to move the Monferno's leg to keep painting the way he was.
He'd also have to contend with Wukong sending a Blazing roundhouse Kick his way, aiming at the shoulders. Blocking with the arms would cause a lot of pain with the burns he had been dealt before.
And Chen Zhen was a little dismayed upon hearing Mochi accept Darumi's battle challenge. Noooo, what about the leaf?
So, to finish what had been started, he decided to chase around the leaf instead.

But clearly Baku had not counted on perhaps another pokémon knowing Telekinesis, which Wayne quickly called out once Hitmonlee stopped moving. The effect would be that Baku's Telekinesis was cancelled and that Hitmonlee would rise up above Baku just as the psychic began using Hypnosis.
With Hitmonlee moving to the side, the opposing pokémon would be positioned in a line, so that when "Earthquake again!" was called, it'd be aiming to crush Baku and send him crashing into George; hitting two for one. With the psychic stuck performing its move, it'd take some quick thinking on Avan's part to rectify the situation.

Elizabeth yawned deeply. "Oh, is that," yaawn, "right? Sorry, it must be the air. It was so stuffy in that café... even... next to the window..." she trailed off, avoiding eye contact, "And I didn't really get that much sleep last night."
She clasped her hands together and turned around cheerily, "Oh, so Warehouse 29? I think I'd prefer that, lesser-known craftsmanship."
Because Elizabeth, after all, was once an engineer, she could appreciate how intricacy and detail furthered the completion of a whole.

Somewhere, a Pikachu perked up. He licked his paw and then fell back asleep.
* * * * *
Mochi bounced sideways, to avoid Darumi's attack. Then, hop hop hop.

D-Vee stopped his painting the instant Wukong made his way towards him with the Mach Punch. He had never intended to finish the drawing he had been working on just then, instead, Extremespeeding around and avoiding the attacks completely to the earlier unfinished drawing. He quickly began to work on the painting again.
Eunmi moved into a hand stand sort of flip, slowed by the water but still forcing her way out of the range of Salieri's knee attack. She straightened as her feet were downward again, kicked off the ground and water-rocket launched herself at the girl's face. She realized it was really difficult to do any sort of kick unless you were coming down from above, and thus resorted to using her hands.

"Pulling all-nighters too?" Artemis asked. "You must work really hard for your charity thing.
"Yeah, it's to the south of town," Artemis gestured, even though she had no idea which direction was south from here. "But it's getting late, and I should get back to work on my painting."

Elizabeth looked up at the sky. The sun, while mostly hidden by clouds, hadn't even reached its highest point yet. Artemis probably had a different definition of 'late'.
"Hm, well okidokie," said Elizabeth with a smile, "It was nice seeing you again, Artemis. Glad we had the chance to catch up! I'll let Zack know I ran into you."

Artemis' definition of 'late' was 'I should be sleeping' and the woman worked at all hours of the night only to collapse during the middle of the day. She worked on her own schedule, and being the anti-social person that she was, she didn't adhere to anyone else's time.
"Yeah, me too," she said quietly, smiling lightly as she gave Elizabeth a quick wave. "I'll see you later."
She turned, and left. Walking to the edge of town, lost in her own thoughts.

((Wait, was Telekinesis used on Baku or hitmonlee? Also, was gonna pm you and ask but my itouch is a d**k. Also also, class is a go. So I need to pay attention. And by that I mean slack off and half pay attention, just can't use the itouch in class. So I'll post after class. ))
