Darumi sure had taken a while to get back. Henrietta was a little worried. She'd felt bad, not playing with the Pokemon once she'd seen him. Then she thought, did trainers play with their Pokemon? They claimed to be friends, right? So they should have fun, not focus on training all the time.
So, for those reasons, and the fact that her legs felt like they'd been set on fire, she headed off in the direction of Darumi. When she arrived she noticed the fallen Darumaka.
"Darumi!" she shouted and she rushed over, kneeling by his side. "Wh-what happened?" she asked and she looked up. To see two bikini clad females. Her face turned red and she looked down to stare at Darumi, words lost.

Salieri had begun to dry herself off, and turned to Eunmi with a grin. "Are you kidding me? That was fun! It looks like you've actually learned something about fighting since all those years ago." Her smirk turned a little boastful. "But there's no way you can beat the master yet, young grasshoppa."
Her eyes darted over to fried Wukong and D-Vee, whowas in the process of healing himself. It looked like their spar had gotten intense. Wukong looked like he worked himself hard, maybe he learned something new. The Battle Girl scanned the area for Chen Zhen.
"Hmm? What's going on Chen Zhen?" she asked with suspicision while walking over to him and the fallen Darumi. "...are Henrietta's pokemon getting attacked again?"
The Pansage shook his head and got up, enthusiastically beginning to reenact what had happened. He pretended to be Dali, slashing with his invisible sword, and then he pretended to be Darumi, getting pretend stabbed and knocked out melodramatically to emphasize the point. Then he clapped his hands together, and pointed at Darumi's closed wound. And then he gave a thumbs up.
"...what're you trying to say here? Did you do that?"
Chen Zhen nodded happily.
"Chen Zhen! Training shouldn't ever get to that point! We just got Darumi back, why would you stab him?!"
The Pansage facepalmed. Where was N when you needed him? He pointed at the wound, then made a closing motion with his hands. The Battle Girl leaned over to see the innovative healing.
"Wait, did you seal up the wound, Chen Zhen?"
Now he nodded.
"That's awesome!" she exclaimed, grabbing him by the arms and dancing around with her grass monkey in celebration of his new technique. "Wow, my Pansage is an awesome medic! Did you come up with that yourself? Amazing, we have to train that ability up!"

Unfortunately, even with Baku's Calm Mind boost, his psychic power still failed to reach the same level as Solosis' - who thus outranked him in terms of power and -given his training that allowed him to shift weights far greater than Hitmonlee- most likely skill as well.
So in terms of tug-of-warring, Baku was fighting a losing battle. Regardless, the psychic smudge seemed to be forgetting one very basic thing about battling Hitmonlee; his legs could stretch. Even if you discounted the fact that they were at very close range, Baku was still within Hitmonlee's range.
And thus with Solosis' Telekinesis preventing Baku from moving Hitmonlee away, the kicking pokémon's Earthquake would still be used.
If Baku still wanted to use his Calm Mind, he'd have to take the Earthquake kick. If he attempted to shift himself out of the way (unlikely, given the blinding speed of Hitmonlee's kicks) then Solosis would use the lull in Baku's concentration to break the psychic's control entirely. If he decided to use Telekinesis to get rid of Hitmonlee -well, it wouldn't work, and his skull would be crushed in for the attempt- same with Hypnosis, as Hitmonlee would already be breaking Baku's face open before it could take effect.
Finally, to add insult to getting your face smashed in by an attack designed to cause tectonic plates to shift, Hitmonlee would go, [I enjoyed slaughtering every member of your species] and, given Baku's temper, most likely remove any benefit to the Calm Minds the pokémon had attempted to use throughout the match.

Eunmi opened her mouth to protest, but Salieri ran off. Henrietta had appeared and there was a scene over an injured Darumaka - that everyone but Dali and Mochi seemed to recognize immediately as Darumi.
"What happened?" Eunmi asked as she stepped forward. Dali shifted uneasily, sheepishly raising his shell up to Eunmi.
"Why did you attack him?" Eunmi shouted. Dali looked scared - he'd never been yelled at before.
"O-osha osha..." the pokemon stammered, pointing to Mochi with a flipper and then to Darumi. He imitated Darumi, arms extended wide in the air as he stomped about. Then he puffed his cheeks and lowered to the ground, hopping up and down like Mochi did. Then he imitated Darumi again, raising his arms up and stomping around like some kind of Godzilla.
"Wott wott wott," he said, trying his best to 'roar'. Then he puffed up his cheeks again and pretended to cry. Then he stood up straight, holding up his shell, adamantly portraying himself as the hero.
"...what...?" Eunmi said, crossing her arms as she tried to figure out what Dali was trying to say. "You can't possibly mean that Darumi attacked Mochi like some kind of Godzilla."
How Eunmi understood this was beyond anything D-Vee could understand as he witnessed the scene. She couldn't understand his illustrations, but Dali's poor pantomiming was simple for her to get...?
"Osha osha..!" Dali insisted. He pretended to be Darumi again and then pointed to a tree.
"Oh, you thought he was a wild Pokemon?" Eunmi said. D-Vee smacked his forehead. How..? What the hell!
((The answer: Eunmi is better in sync with Dali. ))

It was an entertaining scene. Salieri talking to her Pansage, Eunmi talking to her Oshawott. She looked down at Darumi, whose injuries had healed for the most part. At least a decent extent. She didn't have any potions so instead she recalled Darumi to his pokemon.
"I-i'm sorry if he caused you trouble," Henrietta said to Dali. She didn't understand the situation that well, but it seemed someone had attacked another person, or a battle wouldn't have happened, right? So, she figured she'd take the blame on this one. "T-to make it up, I'll help you with your kendo. I-if you want."

Salieri, seeing that everything was more or less taken care of, began to walk away. Chen Zhen backflipped into the air from his standing position and created his Air Balloon, lying atop it lazily while floating behind his trainer.
"Have fun with that, ladies. Wukong and Liuye Dao are about to learn some teamwork, and then we're going to go beat Lenora," she casually stated over her shoulder as if it was fact. With the back of her hand she waved, and then she brought her fingers to her mouth for a loud whistle.
The notes she create rallied her other pokemon. Liuye Dao had Wukong draped over his back, carrying the reluctant fire monkey to where Salieri walked. [Let-go-of-me,] Wukong grumbled while struggling with shaking his head in a failed attempt to move the rest of his body. [I can walk just-ugh...fine.]
The Pawniward rolled his eyes, and Salieri put her clothes back on. She slung her beltbag on and holstered the shinai into her belt loop, and finished off her preparations with returning all of her pokemon. If she wasn't interrupted, she'd wave goodbye to everyone one final time before heading out to the area outside the Nacrene City Gate.

"No worries," Eunmi said, with a dismissive wave. "Right now I think he should focus on controlling his Aqua Jet first."
Dali piped up, wagging his flipper in the air excitedly.
[But I figured it out! I did it!] he said cheerfully, glad now that he wasn't in trouble.
"Hmm?" Eunmi knelt down. "What's that...?"
Dali decided it was best just to show her. He lowered his stance, and then kicked off the ground to start running. When he realized he was just waddling at his regular pace, he tripped and fell on his face.
[W-what...? But I...] he murmured as he sat up. Eunmi scuttled over to him and picked him up.
"Maybe you figured it out in water, but you still need to get it down outside of water," Eunmi said. "I'm pretty sure Lenora's gym isn't a pool."
Dali looked disheartened. He KNEW he could perform the technique. Why didn't it work now?
"Maybe you should just rest," she said cheerfully, pulling on his flippered feet and wiggling them.
"Oo-osha!" he giggled, kicking to try and tug his feet free. Eunmi laughed and then looked up at Henrietta. "So everything's okay then?"

Henrietta giggled at the little Oshawott. The little otter was adorable, she thought. Henrietta nodded to Eunmi. "Yeah."
After a moment she said, "I-i was wondering if you could show me more Taekwondo? P-please." She'd been practicing the kicks for a bit now and she was sure she'd gotten them down by now. At least enough to show the other girl she could do them.

Eunmi looked down at herself and smiled sheepishly.

Henrietta nodded. "I'm fine," she said. She knew how Eunmi looked, which is why her face was red, and she refused to let her eyes drop below head level of the other girl. "I want to get stronger, I've been practicing. I-i'll eat after I'm done. I promise."

"Psybeam!" Avan called out as the fighting type attacked. Because most of the attempts of the previous attacks were situational, meaning they were depending on if things worked or not. And since this was not a video game, it wasn't totally unreasonable that a pokemon could change attacks. No time to dodge, but even as the attack came down, it'd meet a Psybeam attack, softening the blow Baku would take from the Pokemon. Baku had even tried to back up, to no avail with the stretchy legs and all; but at the angle after trying to back up, Baku would be sent flying backwards and out of Hitmonlee's range and remain in the air. Hitmonlee's comment would go unheard due to George's Uproar.
Speaking of Uproar... Since no attempt to dodge or block or end it or even acknowledge it, was or has been made, whatever enemy Pokemon taking the attack would have suffered at least two rounds of it and it would be taking a toll on them. But luckily for them, it would end with a command. "Rain Dance"
With George away from both opponents for the most part, he shook his tail in a rhythmic manner, finished before any one of them could react to it, and clouds gathered over head, thus it began to rain.
Avan casually pulled a collapsible umbrella from his bag while still watching the match, ready to react in necessary. He popped it open and held it over head. Just because everyone else had to get wet, doesn't mean he had to.

((Oh Ren, that makes no sense. By your own admission, Telekinesis didn't move Hitmonlee out of the way, instead your attempt at Hypnosis being cancelled out by your own uproar. So instead of waiting to be moved, Hitmonlee would have used Earthquake immediately, thus during the period of time that Hypnosis was failing. Then you attempted to use Calm Mind, after Earthquake was already going your way. Then you attempted to use Psybeam, apparently because Earthquake - in spite of repeatedly being recognized as a fast kicking move - will wait for you to make your mind up before crushing your skull. So no, you don't get to negate the failure period of Hypnosis in favor of attempting two other attacks. You don't get to try three attacks in the time it takes me to use one -at close range- -at high speed- -in your face- -don't be stupid- In truth, none of your attacks will have worked, because they either failed, were abandoned, or simply had no time in which to be used.
Hitmonlee took one base power 90 special attack from a 50 base special attack pokémon. Not much of a threat to Hitmonlee's 110 base special defense. It hasn't been two full rounds since Uproar was used, my last post simply being a restating of the situation where I didn't use any new techniques. Therefore, given the nature of Uproar, you're stuck using it and your Rain Dance won't be used.))
So Earthquake connected, it wasn't mitigated because Psybeam wasn't used. It would crush Baku into the ground while George was stuck making an Uproar.
Solosis used "Light Screen!" as Hitmonlee came down, his other leg stretched up, preparing for, "One more Earthquake!"
And the Light Screen would generate in front of Hitmonlee, further weakening Uproar, making it perhaps as effective as a bad itch. And Hitmonlee would strike the clearing soil, the powerful crushing technique causing the ground to vibrate violently. Vibrations, I might add, penetrate defenses and crush bones. Assuming that Avan's two pokémon had no bone structure to speak of, it would instead transform their insides into pulp. Baku would still be struck unless he was very fast at A) Regaining his senses B) Digging, he'd still be partially submerged in the dirt.

“Team combos….hmmm….team….combos….”
Sitting before Salieri were Liuye and Wukong, and the girl herself sat crosslegged with the shinai held in one hand and resting on her shoulder. They were far out of sight from the others, but they still hadn’t left Route 3. The trio were on the hill right outside of the eastern gate to Nacrene. “Well, you guys have sparred with each other enough to know how each other attacks, so you won’t be getting in the way of your teammate’s moves. That’s a good first step for being in sync.”
She stood up and her pokemon’s eyes followed her diligently as she paced back and forth, tapping the shinai in her hand deliberately to try and think. “But I wonder if we can think of any cool team combos. Most of the moves you guys have are all offensive or just personally supportive. I need to think of something cool for you to do together.” Sal stopped and swiveled to face them, balancing the end of the shinai on the ground in front of her like a cane. “Suggestions?”
The two pokemon looked at each other, at a loss for ideas. [Hold ‘em down while I beat ‘em up,] Wukong suggested. Liuye shook his head.
Sal tapped her foot on the ground impatiently. She hadn’t trained them to learn attacks that would specifically work together. She had to make something up.
“Wait, Liuye, you push all that air around when you dash with Aerial Ace. That has to go somewhere, right? Do you think you could push it behind you, like you just made a road of air?”
A road of air? The Pawniard shrugged. Normally he was confident, but he had no idea. “And Wukong, what’s the weakest that you can make your Heat Wave?”
The Monferno opened his mouth, unleashing a belch of hot air. The visible cue letting one know of it’s temperature was that the air turned slightly orange. “How about your strongest?”
[You kidding me? You don’t want to see that here.]
She didn’t know what he said, but he sounded confident. Sal grinned. “Alright then. Let’s work on making things explode, shall we?”

Eunmi nodded and stood up, placing her hands in the pockets of her soaked cover up. To continue standing there as she was would probably cause a cold. So she excused herself for a moment and disappeared behind some trees and bushes.
Dali looked up at Henrietta. He bowed his head apologetically for what he'd done to Darumi, and then placed his flipper on his chest.
[I really do know how to use Aqua Jet,] he insisted. [I did it when I fought Darumi. He was all like, UPROAR! and I was like, no!]
He gestured with his shell, slicing across the air.
[And then he was like, Fire Fang! and I was like PSH! Aqua Jet!] He dashed, glowing slightly as he ran, his pace super fast as he used Aqua Jet, skidding to a stop and slashing with his shell again. He froze a moment and lowered the shell.
[SEE! I CAN USE IT!] he shouted.
Eunmi reappeared now, clothed in her black sweatpants covering what moments ago were bare naked legs. She had a tank top on as well, a zip hood jacket overtop. For her, at least, it seemed extremely casual, considering she normally wore multi-layered clothes and lots of bangles, bracelets, and other accessories. She was still drying her hair with a towel as she walked barefoot to where Dali and Henrietta were.
"Sorry that took so long," Eunmi said. "If you're ready, then, show me your kicks from last time and we'll see if we can continue from there."
"Osha osha...!" Dali said, waving his shell in the air.
"Not now, Dali," Eunmi said. Meanwhile, D-Vee came over to watch, sitting next to Dali.
[I did it, didn't you see?] Dali said, looking slightly disappointed Eunmi was preoccupied.
[Yes,] D-Vee replied, sounding bored.
