The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"I know, but as long as the Chief General can recover and get back on his feet, I can wait that long" Damien said. He then began heading up the stairs to the observation area. He turned back to Lianne for a moment. "You coming?" he asked, then continued going up.

"Of course." She replied, standing up and following him.

Not soon after they had went up, the doctors began to examine Jian and a pile of his brain scans.

"He's malnourished." On started.
"And stiff." Another doctor said, moving his arms.
"Your not going to believe this..." the third doctor said, looking through his medical records. The two other doctors started looking at the medical procedures from the other doctors.
"No wonder. I'm surprised they didn't kill the poor fellow while they were at it." The first doctor said. "Lets get started. The sooner we get this done, the sooner he recovers, the sooner we get home."
"I agree." The second doctor sighed. Two began analyzing samples of Jian's blood while the third started testing what Jian was being given to keep him alive. After discerning what he had been getting, the third started pouring in different necessary chemicals into his feeding bag in order to help the healing process.

Damien watched with a careful eye at what the surgeons were doing. He would ask Lianne if they were doing something he didn't understand.

"The chemicals they're adding to the feed will help with his muscles. Right now, they're reading his dna, blood type, and acidity levels. The dosage and type of chemicals they inject into the brain depend on it. After that, it's fairly simple. The main issue is that the damaged part of his brain, the part that controls his internal clock, is behind his memory and his emotional center. But on your forehead, there is a certain gland that synthesizes certain hormones to your brain and the rest of the body." She said, lightly tapping Damien's forehead where the gland was. "Most try to insert the cure directly into the damaged area, thus creating more damage and potentially a lot of other problems. But if inserted into the gland, it spreads directly to the damaged area without a problem." She explained. "Giving the cure, which most say is the biggest issue, is actually the simplest part. The difficult part is monitoring the blood and body fluids so that you know exactly which cure to give."

"Ah, I see" Damien said and continued watching the procedure. It went on for hours, but Damien kept his careful eye on what was going on and occasionally asked the Grand Priestess what was happening. He eventually started feeling tired and his eyes were drooping, but he refused to leave the observation room.

Most of the time, the Grand Priestess was reading while Damien watched. As the procedure was growing closer to being over, she noticed Damien starting to fall asleep next to her. She was surprised he was determined to see it through to the end, but she worried that he would fall over at any moment.

Eventually sleep got the best of Damien and he lay over a few seats up in the observation room. Despite his best efforts, he lost the battle against sleep.

The priestess felt a small thud as Damien's head fell onto her lap. She was a little surprised as the dictator laid there in a deep sleep. Rather then wake him, she stroked the side of his head momentarily before returning to her book. About an hour later, the first procedure was finished and the Diethelm soldiers as well as Lianne's guards walked up to escort the two out of the room. Lianne quickly signaled them to be quiet as they looked at the sight with surprise. She closed her book and put it to the side before ruffling his hair a little, wondering if he would wake up.

"Hnnnffffnnn..." Damien mumbled, but didn't wake up. The soldiers slowly came over and carefully picked the Absolute Leader up by his arms. They weren't sure whether to wake him or not. They didn't know what he'd do.

"Goodnight Mr. Blackrose..." Lianne whispered to him, before turning and walking towards the door towards her guards. "I'm exhausted. The doctors probably are as well." She told them, before turning back towards Damien and his soldiers. "By the way, Mr. Blackrose said he made arrangements for us. Do you know what he planned?"

"Oh, right. You're going to be flown to one of the Absolute Leader's private villas where there won't be anyone bothering you. Only servants will be there" a soldier said. Damien had locked up the harem and posted guards so that they would not come in contact with the Grand Priestess. They would be sharing the villa, but Damien arranged it so that their rooms would be far apart, to make the Priestess more comfortable. The soldiers began hefting Damien with them and began heading in the direction of the helicopter.

"I see. Thank you." She said as they were brought onto the helicopter as well as two of her guards. The other guards went with the doctors to watch and protect them. On their way there, Lianne sat in the back while Damien was stretched out on the front seats. She wondered if he would wake up before they actually got to wherever they were going.

((Hmm... I'm assuming the twins are at the boarding room of their school. lolz.))

((Yeah. Damien doesn't want them seeing what Jian is going through.))


Damien snoozed during the whole trip, but woke up when the helicopter landed. "Huh? What's going on here? Where am I?" he demanded, but still not totally awake.

((Ahh... ok. ))

"Mr. Blackrose?" Lianne asked. "You fell asleep. From what I was told, we are at one of your villas. The largest part of the operational procedure is over with for now." She told him.

"I see. Seems I couldn't get all the way through. Well, let's hope the surgeons do" Damien said. He grabbed his military cap and stepped out of the helicopter, but as he was still half-asleep, he missed his footing and almost fell. He was caught by one of the soldiers awaiting their arrival. "I'm good. I'm good" he said to the soldier and stood up. He picked up his military cap that he dropped and continued in.
