Mindy looked at what she did and tried to remember the order she did it. Her puppet Adur went away from Xun a little and had him burn that circle in the ground again, but this time didn't move the creature this time and had his 'eye' look at where the fire went and did it a little faster. It didn't finish the spell though.
She had the creature sniff the ground and look at it to find footprints or disturbed rocks and debris. Meanwhile a warm inviting aura expanded from the creature as it searched for signs of life nearby.

Signs of life were found about a few miles away, in a large rocky crevice..... Staying low and stealthy, they found a number of lightning imps communing about out in the open a small ways from little caves just large enough for them to go in and out of.
"I shall strike out at their caverns, casing them to collapse. It will be your job to keep them from escaping or running to safety in the meantime, until we can both work together in capturing as many as we can with the special teleport charms given to us."
Said teleport charms had been handed to the two before they had left the city... they would have to be used on weakened or unconscious prey that had very little will to fight remaining. Otherwise, they wouldn't be teleported to prison cells that were waiting for them.
Focusing dark energies in his fingers for a split second, Xun sent out a powerful black bolt of magic over the rocks above the caverns, sending stones tumbling down. He did this for each cavern, making sure to seal them with as many boulders and stones as possible, while Mindy went to work on sheparding the imps.
Meanwhile, the imps were panicking, and attacking at the same time, using bolts of electricity to defend themselves whenever possible.

Mindy still continued to channel her energy through the demon and tried to entice the imps to come to the demon rather than run away panicked or attack it. It was a nice caress on the cheek, a good feeling for Mindy had discovered it lured people to her better than doing the opposite which she knew is the feeling most of the other mages gave off when dealing with traitors, undesirables, or even normally when they were sent for a specific person to recruit.
Several of the weaker minded ones especially the children seemed facinated by the fire imp and came to it. The braver ones even touched it and gained an even more pleasant tingle and calm feeling. The imp did nothing to these as it spread a holy fire ring around them and in front of cavern entrances to trap them all within a circle.
As one of the imps who was not fooled by Mindy's trick tried to attack her puppet, Mindy decided she wanted to see what type of poison Coatli had equip this creature with. He was also famous for his poisons she knew and had began to assist him with non-lethal vampire aimed ones that worked similar to a tranquilizer since the other poisons and venoms only weakened them to a point before he died. They didn't have the opportunity to finish that to her knowledge. Anyways she shot the imp with one of the poisoned spines.

*THWIP!*
The large spine pierced through the lightning imp's thin calf at an angel, but thanks to jagged edges all around it, it was still able to inject it's nasty poison. The creature stumble forward, and crawled immediately, coughing, it's face almost turning green as it began to vomit and sweat uncontrollably. It looked like it either would kill or impair the thing through extreme dehydration as it started to lose vast amounts of fluids in a short amount of time. Another imp ran to the fallen one, and tried to drag him away. He barely got within several feet of the fallen imp, and stumbled to his knees, exhibiting similar symptoms, though not quite as violent. It looks like the toxins were airborne once they found a suitable host.
To her surprise, she found the fire imp could strongly influence the motor functions of the main infected one now for a short time, while anything else infected indirectly from her poison spines would be under lesser and lesser control, the weaker and further the toxins spread. After she had control of the main carrier of the toxins, it had a nasty reaction.... she could hear it's heart thumping very loudly and fast, until something splattered in it's chest, practically exploding, forcing a few of it's ribs outwards to poke into it's flesh as it fell over dead... The toxins were still at work if anything came near it's corpse though, and would be for some time.
Apparently though, only the main infected one suffered such a violent death.

And for his fascination with over the top yet effective gruesome things and torture. Mindy concluded the parasitic venom on this creature was for last resort purposes.
She decided to put her power behind the imps voice and commanded the lightning imps to, "stop," in a much similar manner as Jacob does when he would tell a ghost or some other undead to stop.

The imps came to a stop, no longer fighting or struggling. It made things a bit easier for them to teleport them to the holding cells back in the city. Xun made sure to further knock out or incapacitate the ones that weren't already at Mindy's feet.
"Excellent.... this will please our Lord greatly... I see you've discovered the exact properties of Coatli's poison in that being. We hadn't had the chance to quite test it out ourselves to see what it's done, for as you know, we've been busy restructuring ourselves after the attacks from the alien foreigners (Inakum), and Heegh some time ago. We are resilient, but the more we strengthen ourselves through realms that need our blessings, the better."

"I know and many of those hard to capture, will fight to the death despite how hopeless, Inakum were captured thanks to those attacks," she captured the most, "and have been used to for study to greatly increase the bone structure of selected specimens." She is likely the only or one of a few able to give living subjects a similar bone structure through her magic much like how Jacob modified Veni's ribcage. "But what I am not entirely aware of is what has been done here since I was one of the ones chosen to go to the other realms to gather more help." Mindy had grown incredibly weary from being away from home too long and had only recently came back. The fire imp stroked one of the lightning imps at it's feet.

Xun continued teleporting the other imps, leaving the ones at Mindy's fire imp's feet for her to deal with.
"Tragically, Lord Jiluzix had to scale back his plans, to preserve his most precious of resources... Us, his dear children. World's that were not firmly planted well enough into our truthful beliefs had to be withdrawn from, so that other words may be strengthened with our words, best mages, and blessed beings. We've had to carefully pick the worlds in most need of our services, that would not cost us too dearly in deaths or captures of our kind. You know that each one pains him greatly.
You were one of the ones he was especially concerned about returning home safely, Mindy. You've done very well in pleasing our Lord and father. I dare say in my opinion, much like Coatli, you may soon be eligible for Elite guard status... Alpha may even be due for a new position amongst the High mages if he continues well and learns from errors as he's been doing.
Do well to remember though, that praise foremost goes to our Lord Jiluzix, as to not forget Kifim and her erroneous ways. She sought too much praise for herself, and grew with greed. She sought to oppose our father, and she paid a most terrible price that meant facing his wrath, which he was none too pleased to deliver. I remember him being greatly saddened that one of his most promising fell so far.... Still...
...Even I would look forward to calling you as an equal sister. You show great promise. Temper it, and you shall do well for father."

"Alpha does try hard to show his worth... he is pleasant to work with most times..."
"It would be nice to be around Daddy more often like you are...but I thought more well rounded beings got there. My talent in person is influencing the living, but when it comes to the dead or undead like you, unless they're like me, I am not really able to do much besides attempt to destroy them for I posses no real in between abilities to influence them."
The demon sort of flinched. "I would love to follow the light of those moving under the caves, but I am starting to feel my sleep pains. I simply must prepare for my bed time unless our lord has granted me something to help me stay awake and gave it to you. Otherwise, I need to see what he wants done with these and then prepare everything," Jiluzix would often allow her to keep one or more of the captures that came when only pursued by her energy without her full head on forcing of them to do what she wanted them to do. Needless to say such captures were generally treated better since they were less resistant.

"We should return soon anyway. I left a vial of rejuvenating sustenance near you before we left, it is the same liquids that our father had fed me with earlier to help restore me. It is up to you if you wish to rest for a short while, or ingest this and be alert for some time longer.
As for being more well rounded... Sometimes, he looks for those with particular and exceptional talents and qualities, instead of mediocre or well enough abilities that are more spread out. While I may know a few things here and there, my main talent.... is amongst the undead of my own being.
I've felt your curiosity as to why I hid my visage when my helmet was loosened during our fight. Had you looked directly into my eyes, you would have been lost under my spell, Mindy.
I have very persuasive, but not exact control over undead kind. And even a minor ability to summon undead beings out of remains, though I can not control what it is they may become. That is my other main talent.
I would like to think that with my abilities, if you were to become a sister in arms with me, we would be able to do great things as team mates, even including Alpha as a high mage underneath us as apprenticeship to eventual Elite himself. The things we would be able to do for our father would be glorious. Think of it, a force for Lord Jiluzix to command some of the most dangerous of demons, to wrestle control of the undead away from those would use it against us, and to use the very essence of life against the living that are in opposition."
There was such reverence in Xun's voice that it truly seemed genuine, and all to serve what he thought was a true god.

"I would rather save it in case we are actively pursuing them and I start to feel tired... so you can't control when or whom you dazzle... how long does that last? Maybe we should test if you could dazzle me still through a living demon just in case..."

"That is a very wise decision, then.
No, my eyes have a powerful magic of their own that draws in other undead. I can choose to take advantage of this if I so wish. The effect lasts as long as I wish it to, or for a very short time after I remove my gaze from their person or do not concentrate my ability on them.
A test might be an excellent idea then. Hold for a moment, and try to resist even if my gaze allures you. This won't take long."
Xun faced Mindy's demon, and lifted up the metallic "visor" sliding portions of his helmet, revealing his skull like face with four eye sockets.... the lower main two almost pitch black except for glowing white dots and a strange black tendril moving smoke that seeped out of them. The mark of the Niearcim was on his forehead, with little horns emerging out of the ridges of his eyebrows... She could see places where beneath the thin flesh, his bone had been healed and merged with two different kinds, one demon, one humanoid.
After a second, Mindy started to feel odd. Slightly disconnected in a strange manner.
"Mindy. Are you able to control yourself?"
His voice was calming, soothing, rather than the strange deep raspiness it had been. Silken almost, calling out to her, promising her various wonderful things. Still, she found she was able to be somewhat alert of what she was doing and even control her body/demon's body. Until...
Move the demon's left arm and raise it up into the air. Wait, lower it half way, then stretch it outwards away from your body. Wait again, and lower your arm back to it's resting position.

The demon did as it was told shakily and somewhat hesitantly. As he reached the last command the 'free' arm of the demon reached and closed the visor. "We'll... try that again later."
The demon opened a portal for them to get back. "We must hurry now... I feel worse."
Mindy herself presented the 'kids' to Jiluzix and got to keep a couple for her own purposes while the rest were sent off for other purposes. Mindy told Xun that he should probably see to his new armor while she slept and anything else he could think of that was useful.
The demon was put away in a sort of rejuvenation chamber in Mindy's own room which had more than one of these. Almost all her living servants, who likely looked healthier than the slaves of most other mages, were put to bed, ordered to sleep, and locked up. The one who carried her slept close by and Mindy casted a protective trap spell around her sleeping area before collapsing.

Jacob patted Veni gently as he gave a stifled yawn, then carefully sat up... there was anxious murmuring going on in the cave, in the form of the lightning imps' language.
Getting up, he wandered over towards the fire where the shorter creatures were chatting, and asked what was going on.
"Bad, bad news. One of our camps about sun's worth of travel attacked. Two mages, captured people, killed few, mostly captured. One looked like little-big fire imp.
"If it's about a day or so travel away from here, how did you find out so soon?"
"Ah, some of us, good at talking through air to minds. Very few. Maybe not in same way we see you and angeelic vampire, and other vampire talk through air, but close enough and fast enough. May get people here within next several partial long sun moments."
Jacob frowned. Could those mages be looking for them? Were they putting these little guys at risk?
"Does this sort of thing happen a lot?"
One of the imps gave a bit of a sad nod. "Often. Mages like hunting us, bring us back to the city for bad things."
"I've been inside their city before, but I don't think I've ever seen your kind there..."
"Mages do very bad things in hide away rooms, very angry at us escaping and not being slaves anymore. Or they do something to brain parts, make us slave again forever for their own rooms."
