[Shade_The_Serpent]

Today begins the start...

Shade quickly jerked her head to the side and caught the scroll in her mouth. She stared at her sensei with a dumbfounded and aggravated look, then groaned and slinked off to a far corner. She wanted to slink away from the fighting. If her sensei wasnt willing to play, and everyone else was busy, she might as well slack off and take the desired nap she was wanting. Upon reaching the corner of the dojo, Shade leapt up the wall and caught hold of a ceiling pillar. She pulled herself up and sprawled her thin body along the length of the wood. Being higher up made it easy to watch the fight, plus she felt safe enough to get some shut eye. Yeah, the sound of grunting and hitting was distracting, but it would become white noise soon enough.

Of when purity bites back.

"Yes it was." He said as he looked over at the hole where jashin and the other ninja were fighting, he wondered just how the battle was going. He then turned back to Nanako and pulled out 2 more shuriken and threw them at him. as the shuriken were racing towards him he followed behind them and pulled out a kunai with a bomb tag on it and waited for an opening.

"Your life is to short, so don't go throwing it away so easily."

He switched the blade to his right hand and gripped it's hilt. This kid had better show some effort cause he was trying to make it worth while. His red eye narrowed when the kid threw two shuriken at him. He brought his blade up defensivly and caught one shuriken off to the side then turned his blade to get the other. He had already dropped the broken whip. His eyes darted to Shikastu following behind them and got big. "He's trying to find a opening!" He pushed himself off to the right and sliced the blade verticaly at Shikastu to try and catch him off guard with his speed.

Shikatsu smiled as the ninja did what he wanted him to. As he slashed at him he threw the bomb-tagged kunai at him. This way if he continued it would hit him in the chest and explode. If he did dodge it however, it would give Shikatsu more room and time to attack, Shikatsu then waited to see what transpired.

Nanako saw his blade missed but the boy threw something at him and he saw the tag. "Crap!" He spun quickly in a circle as wind picked up and deflected the tag and kunai away. He stopped spinning and looked a bit dizzy from such high speeds of spinning. The tag exploded but it wasen't close enough to hit him or hurt him except make his stumbling dizzyness fall back. He got up quickly and shook his head trying to get undizzy.

Shikatsu saw an opening and took it, he dashed at Nanako and from being so close already got there in no time. He then slashed at the ninjas torso, from shoulder to hip trying to get a lethal slash in. He knew the ninja was dazes by how he moved and so he would have a advantage here. As his wakizashi's blade came down, the force of this attack could knock him out easily, or even kill him if it hit the artery he was aiming for in the neck or in the chest, along with any organs he could hit.

He managed to focus enough to use his blade defensivly against Shikatsu. It pushed him back to stumble more so he had to keep his blade up. He pushed the kid back by forcing his blade to get interlocked with Nanako's. He could push him back and possibly take Shikatsu's own blade or make him loose grip.

As Shikatsu's blade was blocked and made Nanako stumble even further, he dropped low and swept at his feet. At the condition Nanako was in, this would be a hard attack to do anything against. As he swept his he also threw 2 more shuriken so if he tripped him they would hit him but if he missed, it would not leave an opening for nanako to attack.

Nanako slammed his back onto the ground and used his other arm to block the shuriken. He had dropped his own blade and took out a smoke bomb and slammed it on the ground. He had to not get so close. He grabbed his blade after fling his let arm back to get the shuriken out and rolled himself to the side in the smoke.

Shikatsu stood up quickly as Nanako threw the smoke bomb. He then did one hand sign and made 3 shadow clones, the clones dispersed to different ares of the dojo and were hidden so that Nanako wouldn't know they were there. After that he did a few more hand signs while Nanako was in the smoke and did Mizuame Nabara [ Starch Syrup Capture Field ]. He covered the entire floor around the smoke in a 20ft. radius, this way if Nanako stepped out he would be stuck to it instantly. Shikatsu then used Suimen Hokou no Waza [ Act of Water Surface Walking ], so he wouldn't get stuck in his own trap.

Nanko stood up in the smoke and looked around, it was starting to go away quickly and he saw some stuff of the ground. "It's a different thing....substance maybe." He took out a kunai. and just tossed it forward. It landed in the sticky stubstance and heard the squish noise of the substance. He looked around, still some smoke was there.

Shikatsu pulled out 1 shuriken and 1 more kunai with a bomb tag on it. He waited to see if Nanako would fall for his trap or if he tried to spring one of his own. He readied him self as the smoke started to clear. this was it, he would be able to see him once the smoke cleared and would have him cornered.

Nanako threw two tags into the sticky stuff and waited in his little circle. The smoke was gone and he face Shikatsu.

Shikatsu saw Nanako as the smoke faded away completely. He then quickly threw the shuriken at him, aiming for his chest. what he didn't know s Shikatsu was readying something. As the shuriken drew near he threw 2 more, so now he had two aiming at his legs, one on the left and one on the right. Along with the second shuriken, he threw the tagged kunai in the middle so that if he dodged the 1 he would still get hit either in the chest or legs with shuriken, or in the stomach with a tagged kunai. What wasn't really visible at the time was Shikatsu had also put a bomb tag on the shuriken aiming at his left leg, so even if he dodged it it would still damage him when it exploded.

Nanako used his blade to deflect the shrunken from his chest and turned while stepped away as the kunai flew past him and the shrunken with a tag exploded and sent him back. He he landed onto his back and his blade into the sticky stuff. He made the signal as the tags on the opposite side exploded trying to destroy some of the sticky stuff.
