Looking at Crow Brink crossed his arms. "Don't think your leaving out of here" Brink said as he looked at Crow then to Feng. "Make sure he nor the rest leave this gym Feng" Brink said no humor nor joking was in his voice. He was put in charge of the kids currently and had no intent to let them do something he himself would have done should he had been a good guy when he was younger. "Now then since outside of crow your the only one left you will be the next one to be tested" brink said waving his hand towards the little telepathic girl he had led to the gym.

Rei tried, again, to stand but couldn't. A feeling of being watched wafted over him. He shivered and turned to look around. His gaze stopped when he was looking directly at... something... he couldn't see anything but he felt something. He summoned a lightning strike in that area, a small bolt, two inches around, but then fell over on his side, gasping for air. It felt like he had just ran ten miles. He clutched his chest and gasped for air. The lightning was just off the place where he was looking by a foot. Whatever he felt must not have existed... but he felt a female presence in that area strongly....

The lightning the boy had summoned missed Snow Raven by a very small margin. She felt a shock like static from a rug run up her arm. It seemed the boy couldn't see her, though she'd made no attempt to conceal herself. Then he fell over, and she swooped down to kneel beside the boy. "Are you all right, young man? What happened here?" she asked gently, running a hand over his body to check for injuries, keeping her hand a couple inches from his skin.

...But nor am I an ugly, spiteful crow.

[Sorry, will be playing with my posting style. xP I enjoy playing with that, but the color scheme will stay the same. I also want to add a new "theme song" for Mara, Monster - Skillet
And I don't think we should be far from DC, but I really don't mind where. Probably in a city not directly in DC, because that would explain why no one's checked on us just yet? IDK / IDC ]

The shadows faded, and Mara appeared, leaning against a building not far from Kyle. A single tear was falling from her eye.
"Thank you." She whispered to Max. She still looked like Max, but she didn't notice.
She looked around, and all of the shadows were gone, Kyle looked livid, and the witch was standing, left behind in a sea of confusion. Most of her illusions and powers stopped. Standing, she appeared as her usual self, grey, rotting skin pulled tight over bones and little muscle with dark hair and pale eyes. "Coil" She addressed him, something felt off, he didn't seem okay.
"Mara, be careful." Max warned her.
"Mm" She was focused on Kyle, watching his body language carefully, ready to hide if she needed. He could hurt her and she only knew of one way to easily make him stop, but she wasn't willing to with the woman standing so near. .

Feng sighed. He hated being bossed around. "Great...I can't face a challenge now." He said running his hands through his hair. He said walking to the door and blocking it. "Try and leave...none of you know what I can do...charging at a foe head on without any info on them is foolish."

Kuzan heard explosions and smiled. "My my....so the fun starts." He said chuckling. He leapt onto a roof top and sat on the ledge waiting for Ghost to show up. "I wonder who it is...."

"Weaver..?" Kyle said softly, he wasn't completely sure if it was her or not, he refused to look up. "please just stay away" he begged her as he kept walking away.

Rei heard a voice and he looked up, his breath catching, as the sight of some... woman... "d... did I do this.... I don't.... I don't remember... I remember being beaten in that... well... what used to be that alley... Then... I got angry and everything turned black..." He looked up at the woman and tried to smile. He remembered that he was still in pain from throwing that lightning bolt. "I'm sorry about the bolt... I didn't see you there, my vision must have blurred..." Rei tried another smiled but ended up just being winded from trying to sit up... "I'm sorry about the damage... It might have been me... I don't.... When I get angry, bad things happen... very... bad things..." Rei wondered if this woman could help him. He... he almost sensed that she had power... like him... but different... "Do you have a power? Like.... are you in the justice league... I've heard that those guys save us from a lot of stuff... meteors, firestorms, different villains.... so.... are you one..." Rei looked up, wonder filling his 16 year old, icy blue eyes.

Rei's eyes bulged when she started to heal him. IT wasn't healing... she was taking his pain.... "NO!" He kicked out and threw Snow out ten feet away. "I won't let you... you don't want what I have... trust me..." The kick exhausted him more. "I'm sorry about that Miss Snow... please... forgive me..." He wrapped his arms around his middle and yelled in pain, falling over and writhing on his side. Just then, the giant chunk of concrete behind him started to tilt forward, about to crush Rei...

Mara followed behind Kyle silently for a few moments.
"Dreamer," Weaver/Mara said, facing the woman. "You are a hero, and now there is no problem. I suggest leaving before things get worse. If you don't, I will take care of you, and I won't go lightly on you." Mara knew she wasn't a big-time deal to the League, but the people of this city knew to fear her, and that running and screaming and crying usually got her to stop more quickly than ignoring her. The police had stopped showing up, knowing no one would be harmed as long as the norms were nonviolent, and if they were, they couldn't do anything till Mara had left anyway.
Then she had an idea. Stepping up close to Kyle, she quietly said "Let's have you blow off some steam." She touched his arm, trying to bring him towards a park just a few blocks away with a large open area. "You won't hurt me." She knew he wouldn't, because she would be almost 100 feet away, and he'd be fighting a hallucination.

Kyle wasn't paying attention to either of the woman, he couldn't hear anything but his heavy breathing anymore. Suddenly he felt himselfed being pulled, he felt like he was floating. He blacked out.
"Unhand me!" Kyle yelled out, his voice sounding rough and distant. He pulled himself away from Mara and jumped back. He stared down Mara "you won't get the best of me this time demon!" Kyle's entire body was covered with electricity "this world of yours will be destroyed Weaver" he said, a wide grin growing on his face, large bolts of electricity started firing off from Kyle's body, striking anything and everything around him.

Mara shouted out as a bolt hit her and she fell. On the ground she closed her eyes and "blinded" Kyle. As she crawled slowly away -her muscles ached like heck after the bolt hit her- the darkness faded and he would find himself alone in a field again. It was night though, and owls were hooting softly if he listened. It was the vision she gave the baby her foster family had when he would scream and cry and refuse to sleep.
"Coil." She called softly from around the corner of a building. "Stop."
One more hit and she'd pass out, she knew it, her heart was never very strong and she could feel it still shuddering from pain and her arm where the bolt had hit her. .

Kyle laughed like a maniac as the lightning kept firing out randomly? He didn't even react when he was blinded, he stayed put as his body became engulfed in electricity "everything will die today!"
Kyle heard her voice. It was muffled and quiet but he heard it "stop!" he yelled knowing nobly would hear it.
"silence fool, you cant stop this." the familiar voice said
"yes I can stop this! You cannot control me, you will not hurt my friend!"

The electricity started to die down, a figure in the center of a charged crater started appearing. It was Kyle, he was kneeling down with his head hung, most of his skin was badly burnt, and he was on the verge of passing out "Mara..?" he called out softly?

Mara's eyes closed as the crackling of electricity continued around her. The hallucination would be fading and flickering as her consciousness started falling out of her grip. She heard Kyle shouting that everything would die and internally she flinched.
"Mara... You gotta stay awake. You gotta make sure he's okay. You can do this. Night-Mara, you in there?" Max was teasing her and far, far away Mara could hear someone calling her name.
"'M here." She called back, all hallucinations fading as her vision went black. Slowly she became herself again, her skin regaining color. She could hear everything, but couldn't move. Her body hurt so badly... That couldn't have been only one bolt, but she couldn't remember at the moment.
Max ran over to Kyle and tried his hardest to get his attention to pull him up off the ground. "Mara! He's hurt."
...
She didn't respond. After a moment she stood up, her vision coming back [Her eyes had closed and she hadn't noticed] as she stumbled around the corner of the alley. "Coil?" The whispered word sounded more like 'kul' than either of his names, but she was still sore. "You need to go to the hospital." The mumbled words were confusing, but she didn't care. Once she laid eyes on him, she panicked, and looked for anyone nearby... There wasn't a living soul [Except possibly Dreamer, Mara wasn't sure what happened to the girl]... .
