Andrew pulled on his glasses at the start of the movie, unaware of the boils talking about him. His human senses dulled any ability he might have had to pick the conversation up.

Oh this was a... was that water coming at him? Andrew suddenly clung tighter to Olivia. Nope nope, he was done. Very much done. Why did there have to be so much of that wet stuff coming right... oh... it wasn't actually coming out of the screen. It was just the glasses. He relaxed his grip and left one hand still on her arm.

Jacking water, oh cool. That thing was scaring the Jack out of that human, but why did have to have rain?  

[Eight]

Sibyl had been paying attention to the movie trailers like a good ghoul, either completely oblivious or completely ignoring the two boils beside her. It might have been a little bit of both.

But one thing Sibyl couldn't ignore was the popcorn that flew her way. She gasped, staring down at the boil in the row in front of them. What had she done!? She did nothing to deserve that! He hit Gabby and Efflo too! That jerk! Sibyl pouted, her cheeks even puffed out to add to her intense fierceness.

The movie had started, but Sibyl had found one of her Boxes Of Liefish and held it out to Gabby, nudging his shoulder with the box. "He hit me." The ghoul whispered to the two boils, looking very unhappy. Sibyl wanted justice. She hadn't been doing anything. And neither had Efflo! Gabby! He threw popcorn at Efflo too!

Justice needed to be had.

Which meant flying fishes would be pinging Andrew's head every so often from that point on.

Ah, the movie was starting! Tilting his head, Marosa frowned as he adjusted the glasses up on his nose, head resting against the wall.

The movie started out with bushes rustling and a bunch of men standing around in hard hats with Jurassic Park written across the foreheads.

Did they really need that to tell themselves what crew they were a part of? The faerie let out a snort, arching an eyebrow. His impression of humans in this movie was very low.

A crate was being moved, and something inside it hissed and hummed, to which he frowned at. Just what were they transporting...?

And then the man that was lifting the gate was being tossed about as if he was being eaten. And then they were shooting the poor creature.

He didn't feel sorry for the man at all, and found himself wondering what happened to the creature. Really? They didn't focus on that? Why didn't they focus on both sides equally?

Color the faerie unimpressed.

"Just... Take the whole box. I don't want to see them anymore." Riyo reached over Akubi to pass the faux fish candy over to the dragoness. At least it hadn't been her money she was pissing away. And she still had some left. This had to be worth something back home, right?

Sitting back properly, Riyo caught the look the boil was giving her, own eyes narrowing. Her last attempt to hurt him was met with only laughter, but no real consequence. While it had been unsettling and denting to her ego, this was not enough to deter her.

The feline barely got a chance to notice the movie had started and was now in 3D when her cheek was assaulted. Oh. Ohoho. Bad idea a*****e.

Much like a bi-polar cat who was happily allowing you scratch it's belly, Riyo's head suddenly turned to bite the finger poking her. Shame these lame human teeth didn't have longer canines.

Hell yeah, free food for the dragon! Taking the box, Poke tore it more open and, opening her mouth wide she tiled her head backwards to let the fish candy fall into her mouth. She then sat there chewing on the stop before she stopped, a obvious look of distaste on her face.

Thankfully she still had enough sense to swallow the vile tasting crap.

"The hell did I just EAT?! It was like dirt and sand all mixed up." Just because she was a dragon, didn't mean she liked to eat everything. Glaring at the box, she passed it along to Akubi who was busy getting his finger chewed off by Riyo as more and more previews popped on

"Yeah, it's pretty cool. The foods kinda crap though." She said as the theater grew darker. Putting the 3D glasses on, she was surprised to see the movie was...pretty dam lifelike. It was like it was jumping out at her. If she didn't know this was a human movie, she would of been concerned.

At the first few scenes of the movie screened, Poke watched on curiously at the humans trying to carry some box, before one of them was snatch up by the contents of said box. It was obvious that it was some sort of reptilian creature, and she wanted to see what kind it was.

As they continued along, Shine busied herself by inspecting her feet again, counting each of the little stitches in her boot. She was up to somewhere around forty when Nahm found her again and asked about further adventuring. Though she met him with a little smile and was quick to wrap her arms around one of his, she looked away as she nodded a response, a little apprehensive about this place.

"So...loud," she observed, shortly before the brightness of their destination - Megaplex, was it? - seemed to bother Nahm. Concerned, but less ashamed about her own human-world dislikes, she reached to pat him comfortingly on the shoulder. "Maybe...better inside." She hoped that it might be, at least.

After collecting the ticket and the money offered by Selene, she curiously tried to taste the paper money, nose wrinkling when she discovered it did not taste like sugarslime. Awful. This made her all the more enthusiastic when the suggestion of food arose.

"Oh! Yes! Maybe...candy?" She gravitated towards the concessions, eyes widening when she saw just how much candy they had. Pushing the money towards the human behind the counter, she bent down to press her nose against the glass over the candy display.

"All the candy," she instructed, fingernail tapping against the glass. She didn't quite end up with all of it, but did have one of almost every type, and earned one of the attendant's strange looks in what was inevitably a series of such expressions.

"Okay, all...all good." Pleased with her haul, she'd perked up, distracted from the bustle of conversation and concession noise. With the candy gathered in the makeshift pouch her upper skirt layer provided, she continued clinging to Nahm, waiting to see what he'd choose.

Humans certainly liked explosions, or something like that. That was what Jericho got out of the trailers for the future releases. But soon enough, the actual movie was about to begin. He went ahead and put on the glasses, which at first, didn't seem to really change much.

Until he noticed that the screen suddenly had a lot more depth to it. Woah. This was kind of interesting now.

Efflo had thrown all of his popcorn at Gabby, so he decided to sit the current battle out. He was also considerably cooler now, so he pulled his sweater back up, hiding himself under the hood. It was the perfect defence against flying popcorn and fish.

All the candy, a giant bucket of popcorn, a large box of nachos, a huge soda, and very little change later, Nahm slipped into the theater with Shine in tow, looking very satisfied with himself. The kid behind the counter at the concessions stand had looked at the huge haul of snacks, looked at the teenagers, and apparently decided that he just didn't want to know. Minimum wage really wasn't enough to deal with this.

Nahm found the darkest corner seat available and settled into it with a small sigh. Shine had been right; it was better in here. "Nice and dark," he nodded, and patted the seat next to him before he set about arranging his snacks for easy accessibility. The snotcorn wasn't properly sticky, of course, though the yellow stuff the kid at the counter had poured over it was a good start. Nahm wondered why the stickier orange stuff had been reserved for the chips. Humans were weird, he decided, and scooped up a huge handful of popcorn. Crunch.

" ... tastes like dirt," he opined muffledly around his mouthful, then chewed and swallowed, and tried the nachos next. "Sand." He made a face. "Man, what's this bland stuff? Movie snacks are supposed to be like, salty and spicy. Humans like dirt, huh?" He shoveled in another mouthful. "Could be worse." Food was food.

He spotted Zar lurking his way into the theater - the whole pink skin thing still looked really weird on the demon - and yelled, "Zar! Over here! Saved you a spot," and gave his friend a cheerful leer.

The previews were an odd assortment, and he watched them with interest, though the "Scary Movie" one got a loud boo out of him. Lame and dumb. But he settled down when the feature started, making sure his glasses were in place and that Shine had remembered hers. Dark theater, good company, movies, and food, even if it was bland food - this field trip was possibly the best thing ever.

Zar had fallen behind as he was so apt to do wherever he went, awkward and uncertain when it came to seating and shy in the face of socialisation and entertainment. He'd been hovering uncomfortably in the aisle, hands clasped to his chest when Nahm called out to him, making him start and almost drop his glasses, pushing them back up his nose hurriedly. Before he could even think about it, he was walking over to the chairs and sitting down where the Grue had indicated, huddling down with a mixture of relief and gratitude. He envied the other boil's easy confidence a great deal, and on some level almost hoped it was contagious.

"Thanks." he said quietly, hesitant to interrupt either of them, or anyone nearby.

"No problem," Nahm replied, and offered Zar the popcorn. "Want some? Tastes like dirt, humans got weird taste in movie snacks."

Zar very daintily took a piece of popcorn, eyed it for a second and then chewed it thoughtfully. It did indeed taste like dirt and absolutely unpalatable. He swallowed it anyway because manners.

"That is. Some very strange tastes indeed." he agreed, making a face.

Akubi was bitten and he just stared at Riyo for a moment or two and then down at his finger. There was a brief second when he had flinched at the initial n** but right now he looked neutral, after he had gotten the treats handed to him from Poke? He flicked one of those at Riyo's nose. "Bad."

He was waiting patiently for Riyo to let his finger go as he then turned to stare at the screen.

Thanks for the ammunition, Poke. He was almost worried about having to use his own gummi worms. Akubi turned to stare at the screen for a second. Huh... The movie-thing was starting.
