Shadow nodded and followed her silently to the lounge. He politely watched her eat. When she offered him something he replied with, "No thank you. I'm ok."

He then pondered a moment, I wonder if anyone has noticed I haven't eaten or drank anything around them. It doesn't seem like something anyone would normally notice after only three or four encounters with me.

Jessi finished her meal and dabbed at her mouth with a sigh. Then, she sat back in her chair slightly.

"That was good. I love the pasta here. Tommy's a really good cook. He's our bartender and cook."

Shadow nodded, "Is he like the Scott fellow at the bar?"

Jessi looked confused. "Scott? We don't have a bartender named Scott."

Shadow stood up, "Well, it has been nice spending this time with you. I think I shall make an appearance in the MW bar. Take care. I'm sure I will see you again soon." He bowed politely and then turned and headed silently out the entrance.

Daniel appeared in his office, the door behind him still closed and locked. He was dressed only in a tank top undershirt and beat up old jeans, but also had his ever present carry bag. Moving quietly, Daniel pulled off his bag and sat at his desk. Turning on his small desk lamp there, he pulled a few books from his bag and sat back to read them. He hadn’t really wanted to come to work today, but it was an obligation that he had committed to, and one he would fulfill. However unconventional his methods in doing so may be. If his assistance was to be needed, he would be close at hand, and his particular talents would allow him to uniform up and respond quickly no matter how urgent. Sighing softly to himself, Daniel picked up one of the books and flipped it open.
