"How does she always get places before us...?" Eunmi asked, as if it weren't related to some cosmic power that prevents her poster from posting.

"Well, s**t, this is supposed to be a race," Eunmi grumbled. "Sal got here first, how are we supposed to beat her?"

((I recall there must have been a shorter one at some point. Though I suppose if that word is longer than 7 letters, mine still could be shortest. Who knows?

Salieri put her pen back into her journal, snapped it shut, and then looked up at Henrietta and Eunmi. "Thanks, but we already ate a little something before we started training. Can't get stronger on an empty stomach, after all."

The meal had been light, but Salieri was planning on getting herself and her team a much heartier lunch after they defeated Lenora. The Battle Girl jabbed her thumb over her shoulder at the museum behind her.

"Anyway, I'm already fired up to fight Lenora. I want to be the first one to battle her, to show her that I'm more than just a warm up match. This gym is going to open real soon, and when it does I'll be one step closer to getting the gold."

At this point, she noticed Ryan next to her. Having not realized his presence, she had given her whole boast in front of him and so he had heard the entire thing. It only took a moment for her to find him somewhat cute, because of the green highlights in his hair. Like with N and Cilan, Salieri just had a thing for green hair. Although Ryan's hair wasn't entirely green, and therefore he wasn't as man-pretty to her.

But her face didn't make this thought apparent. Instead, she just gave him an upwards nod and rested her chin in her hand. "Yeah, I'm going to be the first victor of the day."

Ryan glanced at Axew and then stood up a little straighter. There was no way he was going to lose his match, but the girl seemed really confident. It made her seem really cool.

"Oh yeah?" he asked. "Well we'll see who gets the badge first...!"

Axew imitated him as he clenched his fist.

((Well Salieri kind of looks like Katara in general, so if you were going in that direction you were probably in the right biggrin ))

Sal hadn't thought about how the trainers couldn't really race to get to the badge. Well, they could have raced to get to them gym. But Sal was already there first. Whatever, I probably would have gotten it first no matter the circumstance.

She shook her head. "Nope, never met. I think this kid's just another trainer who wants to battle Lenora."

Her amber eyes looked up to Ryan's in an inviting yet slightly defiant looking way. "I'm Salieri Del Forrest, and I'm the heiress to the Saffron City Dojo. Who are you?"

((Well, then you might as well get a look at it.

"So uncool..." Eunmi frowned.

"...I'm Eunmi Sung," she said, waving lightly. "You can call me Emi though."

((That sketch is sweet even if she looks Katara-ish. Her hair looks cool))

Now that all these trainers were congregating on the steps, Salieri felt even more anxious to have her match. She tapped her foot impatiently in hopes that Lenora would arrive soon.

The Battle Girl had also taken out her pokedex to check out the Axew next to Ryan. "Tusks? That's an interesting weapon, I bet."

Takamaru Jogged towards the entrance to Pinwheel forest, Iron Hide and Spike both along with him. "Right then, i say we work more on your combo attack's. If i remember right Lenora completely out did us in number of Combinations, but that was before we ever even touched in that field.." the youth chatted as they continued on. the Pokemon Either side just sorta grunted in agreement.

It shouldn't have Taken as long as it did for them to reach Pinwheel forest but due to Tk's terrible sense of direction the small group ended up taking several completely unnecessary routs, though ultimetly ending up at there destination.

"wow, that took longer than i thought it would" he said wiping a bead of sweat from his for head. "Right then, lets start with some warm ups, i want both of you to cycle through all the moves your know twice." he instructed as he walked over to a nice sized tree, "Once your finished with that, then well work on those new moves you guys learned while i was at the tourney" he finished as he leaned against the tree. His thoughts wondering to his and his mothers agreement. either he would win, and keep on with his journey his way. or loose and be separated from all his Pokemon, them being replaced by Pokemon picked out by his mother instead. "Tch, we gotta win...we have too.." he whispered to himself,a twinge of uneasiness settling in his stomach.

To Avan, Ryan shook his head. "Just met them as well.

"And yeah, Axew's got a lot of tricks up his sleeve," Ryan said proudly. "And hey, if you're going on a food run, a cheeseburger would be great!"

Axew rose his hand and wavered it in the air, jumping up and down.

"And some fries for my buddy here."
