The silver Haired kid Continued to sit quitely, himself now becoming quite bored even though less than 10 Minutes has elapsed since he arrived at his place on the Stairs.

It was until he noticed a woman sipping on her smoothie shuffle closer to the front of the Gym, then she Started nodding. 'Is she nodding at me?'

To confirm weather or not she was he would give a small wave with a awkward half smile. if she wasn't then he would continue to feel a sense of anxiety build up in his gut. 'Wait, what was her name again... did she even give her name... god im terrible with names' he thought mentally kicking himself. If push came to shove he would play around the situation with word games to get her to re-irritate her name aloud.

"Man, I can't believe we got lost," Wayne mumbled as the gym finally came into sight.
"We didn't get lost, the map just lied to us, that's all."
"I knew I shouldn't have let you try to read a map..."

"So," Wayne wondered out loud as he approached the museum-slash-gym steps, "What happens now?"

((Let's get this show on the road.))

[Event Post]

CRASH! The sound came from within the museum, a racket of unknown cause. There was but a moment to dwell on it before the museum doors were flung open, smoke billowing from the entrance. Figures moved, obscured by the smoke. The darkness of it hiding their forms.

A casual step of a larger man appeared soon after. His eyes scanned the obscured sight before him and his lips curled with amusement. Before him, he could feel them, were the people from the Dreamyard. Plus some few presences.

This was the time, Gorm thought, to test out the weaponized Dream Mist. Reaching into his robes he'd pull out the canister and toss is casually, his stride continuing as the pink mist hissed free from the canister, filling the area instantly.

A single breath was all it would take for it to work instantly, with such closeness and concentration. Anything else would effect the people overtime. Stride unbroken and the man, features obscured by the combining smoke, continued on passed the museum, the figures from before fading away with movement.

For Henrietta, this all happened too quickly. Her lips had parted to reply to Kijin when the first wave of smoke hit. A sharp breath, and the figures were there.

Then she was coughing, her eyes stinging, unable to help the sharp breath that inhaled the dream mist.

The world blurred. There were two effects, one could pass out, or one could be stunned by it. For Henrietta, she felt her mind grow heavy, so to speak. Like exhaustion pricking at her consciousness and she reached out to grab Eunmi for support as her knees gave under her, meeting in the middle but not yet fallen.

By the time she turned her head, the figures were gone and Henrietta was stunned, lost in a world between awake and sleep.

((Trop's gonna be handling this event because I suck. Also, any post where Trop's put [Event Post] means that you should just accept that it's happened so we can move onto the next stage of the event. Event Posts should be few and far between once the event gets up and running though.))

Freezing for a split second, a moment of hesitation and you've lost. Fighting for time now gone, Elizabeth quickly grabbed Wayne's shoulders and pulled him back, turning him around once to shield him from the gas. Zack, at her side, had the back of his arm over his face and eyes sharp like steel.

Still, he toppled, brought down to one knee and body weakening. The mist created a sense of dream-like euphoria, relaxing your body and sapping your mind's strength. Zack was squinting by now, eyes heavy and his head even heavier when he shifted it to the side to check on his family.

Elizabeth, on her knees, Wayne crumpled over her shoulder and the weight of their two bodies preventing either one from slumping fully to the ground. Her protection had failed; they'd both succumbed to the dream mist.

"s**t..." Zack coughed, falling forward but catching his shift with one hand to the floor. There were shouts and screams in the distance but they seemed vague like he was hearing them through water, his aura-enhanced strength failing him. The weaponized Dream Mist seemed capable of turning anyone as harmless as an infant.

Worst of all, Gorm had it in canisters. And he was getting away.

((Okay guys, sleepy-time. Basically, we're gonna wait a day for everyone to post here. If you wanna do a quick (or not so quick) dream sequence then you can do. Or your character could've stayed awake (yet immobile) through willpower. We'll get things started properly soon, sorry for the delay))

Even though Salieri was closest to the door, she could still spot Wayne and his family approaching the museum. The last time she saw Wayne was last night, and he was a drunken mess. But he looked like he had gotten over the hangover, if he ever had one to begin with.

Salieri raised her smoothie to him as a greeting. "Hey, cowboy. What's up-"

And then Gorm busted the doors of the museum open. They swung out widely. Because of Salieri's adamant urge to get to the front of the line, she was close enough to get hit by the doors and was flung backwards. Thankfully, the museum window was open right behind her, and so she was sent flying into the museum by the opening door while everyone else was outside, including Wukong and Liuye Dao.

The Battle Girl rolled to a full stop in front of an exhibit of a large, draconic skeleton. "Son of a b***h!" she growled, looking down at the ground near the window. Her smoothie laid on the ground, now spilled all over the museum's tiled floor. Not to mention having the door open in her face still stung.

She took a second to take her rapid change of environment in. There was no one else in the museum, as it had still been closed. Looking up, Salieri could see that the skeleton behind her was missing it's dragon-like skull. Her eyes darted over to Gorm and the other Team Plasma members, standing in the doorway. It didn't take her long to put the facts together.

Quietly, she rushed over to the other side of the exhibit floor, grabbing the fire extinguisher from it's perch on the wall. She grit her teeth as her feet silently coasted along the ground towards Team Plasma. If she could just get one good hit in from behind, she might be able to knock him out...

Or at least that's what she thought until Gorm released the Dream Mist. On the museum's steps, she could see people begin to succumb to the effects of the hallucinogenic sedative. Salieri stopped her approach and hid herself behind a decorative pillar, watching the scene unfold from over her shoulder.

Liuye Dao did not look like he was going to sleep. Still as stoic as ever, he just stood still with his arms folded and didn't bat an eye at what went on in front of him. For a moment Salieri thought Liuye was somehow immune, but then she saw the strained look in his eye. He wasn't standing still because he was unaffected. He was standing still because he couldn't move.

"Grrrrrrr...."

Wukong was facing the Plasma grunts, giving them a guttural growl. Salieri almost felt like cheering him on as he raised his arms up like a zombie to attack-

Why is he standing like a zombie?

Wukong gripped at something non existant in front of him, and with the other hand looked like he was trying to peel away at the imaginary object. Seconds later, he tilted his head back and chowed down on whatever he thought was in his hand. The Battle Girl noticed above his smile that his eyes were closed. A sweatdrop formed on the back of her head.

Is he dreaming about bananas?

Now, the Dream Mist was beginning to leak back into the museum. Salieri looked over to the window that she had been thrown through. The Dream Mist had diluted at this point: the only reason that it was in the museum was because the wind blew it back that way. She could try to stay in the museum and wait it out safely, but it looked like Plasma was getting away.

If Plasma got away with the skull, Salieri felt like Lenora wouln't stand for that. The Gym Leader also owned the museum, and having an exhibit get defaced like that was something that had to be taken care of. And if Lenora was taking care of it, then she wouldn't be around to take challengers. WHich meant Salieri would have to wait even longer for her match.

In an act driven mostly by self interest and a little bit by revenge, Sal decided to be proactive.

Sal ran for the window, vaulting through it with the fire extinguisher and landing in the bushes. She didn't intend to wait and see if the Dream Mist would reach her here, and she kept running around the side of the building. Once she reached the other side, Plasma was long gone and everybody who had been in front of the stairs had been affected in one way or another.

She had gotten lucky, or as least as lucky as someone who got a door slammed in their face could be in this situation. Sal ran up the museum steps, covering her mouth with her shirt just in case any residue of the mist remained, although by now it had dispersed enough to be harmless. Her pokemon remained incapacitated, so she just returned them to their pokeballs.

Looking over to Henrietta, Salieri picked the shinai and waved it in front of the kendo girl's face. "Hey. Hey! Snap out of it, girl!"

Huffing, she dropped the shinai back onto the ground and lifted up the fire extinguisher. She had no idea if it would work, but she imagined that if she was asleep or half sleeping, someone spraying a fire extinguisher in her face would make her livid.

So she began to spray it around Henrietta and the general nearby crowd while yelling "Rise and shiiiiiiine everybody! Wake up wake up wake uuuuuuup!"

EDIT: ((Just so no one is confused, the timing of Salieri's reappearance on the stairs of the museum is right after Team Plasma is gone.))

Tk was still contemplating on whether or not he should attempt to start a conversation with one of the people he met from the dream yard when the museum doors where flung open with a Crash.

The youth yelped in surprise as he watched the one named Salieri be thrown through an open window. After she had Departed from the outside it now ment that Tk was the closest to Gorm.

The sight of the man sent a prickle of Anger down his Spine. From the knowledge that he had Attained he was led to believe that this man was the one whom had taken Lancer from the Dream yard. every thing that happened next happened in a quick like manner.

Takamaru Jumped to his Feet.

Grom tossed a canister of what looked like Pink Pix dust (That one candy)

Tk snatched Spike's Heavy ball from his belt, Throwing back his arm, clicking the enlarging switch on the Ball. "Go, Spike!" he yelled with the Full intention of beating this man to a pulp and Retrieving Lancer from said Pulp.

The pink Mist shoots from the canister and fills the Air

Tk's Arm made it half way through the air before he fell to his knee. his vision flickered.

Gorm began to stride away.

Takamaru, being the closest to Grom (After Salieri, whom was thrown through a window) took in the most of the Gas, Fell onto his Stomach. at this point Grom would be walking past the kid.

Acting on total will power right now, Tk shot up his arm and Latched onto the Hems of Groms Robe. "G..gimme back..Lan..c..er" he mumbled before his eyes completely glazed over, sending into a very Euphoric Dream State. His other hand still clutching Spike's Heavy ball.

It all happened so quickly. The doors booming open. Then clank of the canister rolling through the crowd of them. And the pink smoke. The morphing, shrieking, screeching smoke.

Luka only had the time to see Gorm leap out of the doors and start running away, but, all he could do as he saw Gorm running was move his fingers very slightly as he toppled over. He could see his Pokémon succumbing to the mist around him. They all collapsed around him.

As he drifted off into the depths of sleep he had only one memory: A high pitched squeal like that of a Pokémon in pain. He could have tried fighting it, but that squeal, that intense pain flowing through him was just too much. He was knocked out.

Kijin looked up just as the doors of the museum were flung open and the smoke was bellowing out from the building's entrance. He cringed a little as he backed up being stunned a little as he looked up to see a figure shrouded by the smoke, his silhouette was that of a large person but any other defining features were hidden from him.

He looked around once he got his footing back only to hear a small metal device hitting the ground and rolling along releasing a pink fog that swept past him as the canister continued to roll past him. He took a breath out of habit only to feel his body suddenly become heavy and sluggish, he started to become light headed and his legs felt like they weren't able to keep his body weight up he soon feel to one knee as he gripped his head a little. "Wh-what....is..go-ing...o...n...."He slowly finishes his sentence before his eyes close and his mind drifts off, still in his one knee position on the ground he dreams.

As Kijin dreamed he saw multiple versions of himself one was him as a father teaching a young son to catch and train pokemon, another version showed him as a gym leader taking on challengers left and right giving out badges and being praised for it, another showed him as a member of the Elite four being on top of all others with a select few being admired and looked up to. There were many others that had nothing to do with pokemon directly but all of them seemed to be as far away as possible from him and every time he tried to move towards one or the other some of the other dreams would disappear and the ones he moved to simply just moved further back taunting him into coming toward them but always staying out of reach. Then the ground he stood on would soon start to crack each of the cracks were moving from the different versions of him and heading towards the original one, once they were close they formed a ring around him and seemed to swallow him up into the hole.

Then suddenly he felt something cold hitting him in the face quickly disrupting his dream, the dream seemed to faze out like a computer shutting down that he soon was awakened by the extinguisher spray hitting him and seeming to pull him out of it. He slowly looked around as he was still groggy from the experience as he seemed to still be half asleep, his eyes were open but were completely blank he was still under the effect of the powder for the moment. His mind would take a few minutes to catch up with the abrupt awakening.

"Rise and shine, everyone!" she called, wearing a bright pink nurse's outfit with an Audino at her side. She'd hurried over when the commotion started, seen what the dream mist was doing to people, knew she had to do something to help. Careful not to get caught up in the lingering pink veil, she commanded her pokémon to perform Heal Bell.

Audino presented her palms and closed her eyes, the curly feelers on its ears vibrating until a chiming sound rang out. With each ring, the mist would be struck by a purple wave that, while harmless to people and pokémon, caused the mist to break down and vanish bit by bit until it was gone.

Zack's eyes shot open as his strength flooded back like a surge of water through dried earth. He looked up first at the girl and second to Elizabeth and Wayne. His wife was just waking up, cured by Heal Bell. Wayne held his head, sweating a little as if he'd been experiencing a brief yet intense nightmare.

"What... the heck just happened?" the teenager mumbled muddily as he wiped wet eyes and looked about at everyone else. He spotted the shocking pink nurse's outfit and said dumbly, "Hey, you're that girl! The cosplay nurse! Err..."
"Shery," she said as she helped Wayne to his feet, "and it's not cosplay."
"Uh, Halloween costume then?" Wayne suggested, his grin met with an unimpressed look.

"That's really not important," Lenora called from the staircase summit. Her apron was gone and there were slight tears in her clothes, a little blood trickling from beneath her hairline and above her breast, gluing her shirt to skin. Looks like she'd offered up resistance but been batted aside.

The Dream Mist had been cleared, and Heal Bell should have managed to rejuvenate everyone. It had ended up being a delay for Plasma, buying them the time they needed to escape. If Shery hadn't come along with her Audino, it would've worked out perfectly. As it stood, they still had a chance to stop Plasma.

"You're all okay," Lenora looked around those present, clutching her shoulder where it bled, "Plasma did this. Stole something valuable. Listen," she was shaking slightly, clearly in a lot of pain, her breathing labored, "I wouldn't normally ask this of anyone, but I need your help. You're all trainers, yes?"

Challengers: they'd come to the gym because they thought they were good enough to defeat her. Even if they weren't, there was strength in numbers here. Something she'd been solely lacking inside the museum.

"I'm the gym leader of this town, my name's Lenora. Please, stop Plasma." Lenora fell against the doorway and Shery hurried up with a bag full of first aid kits she'd acquired from a pokémon center a while ago.

As Shery helped her away from the wall, Lenora looked past the girl and down to the trainers, "There isn't much time left. You want a badge? I'll give it to you. But you have to stop them from getting away - to the forest. Chase them and I'll," winced, "reward you - I promise."

((Alrighty people, gonna give this another day for everyone to get a post in. You don't have to have stick around and Lenora's offer will still apply to you. It's cool if you want to rush off to the forest since that's kinda the idea. Anyone who doesn't post in the next day will be transported along with those who do to keep them in the event))

Robby Tobb had not fallen asleep. It was probably in part because his body was unable to fully take in the dust, but mostly, when the events started, he saw the fallen smoothie with enough still inside to drink. As a result, when the dust flooded over him, the obese lad was forcing his legs to try and move in an attempt to drink Salieri's fallen drink first. Unfortunately, he was reduced to a crawling position with his arms trying to move by the time the dream dust cleared. At last, the obese lad would rise.

His eyes went to the woman who was speaking as he took any leftover food and abruptly caused it to vanish. At the mention of a reward, he perked up and watched the woman closely, knowing what he would get somehow, but not what the leader would expect as a demand. "Yes!" He said, and abruptly began to follow his Robby Senses, "running" after the grunts.

Salieri wasn't sure if it was the fire extinguisher or the Heal Bell that did the trick, but whatever had overcome the others trainers before left no trace of it's existence. The Battle Girl carelessly discarded the safety instrument onto the ground as Lenora gave her proposal.

"Seriously?" she asked, with an inflection of incredulousness as she walked up to the gym leader past the others. "So you want to send us out there to get back what you lost, and you'll just give out the badges as prizes?"

The Battle Girl scoffed. Not in her usually cocky manner, but in annoyance. She expected Gym Leaders of Unova to hold a different standard. No matter what the circumstances had been in Saffron City, Koichi only distributed badges as emblems to prove a trainer's victory in the gym. Never was there a badge given out without a battle. For this to take place here would go against what a gym leader stood for. It would be a tainted victory.

"Badges aren't just hand outs," she said while putting a hand on her hip. "You don't make progress by taking other people's rewards for being a good samaritan. You have to fight for it." Sal crossed her arms and looked up at Lenora defiantly. She didn't bother to see what her new friends thought of her behavior. Lenora's proposal struck a personal cord with her.

"I don't want to get a treat every time I do a trick. The only way this journey is worth it is if I prove my strength at each step of the road and get those badges the right way. Any other path is a shortcut."
PostPosted: Mon Oct 24, 2011 7:20 am

"This really isn't the time to-" Shery started but Lenora's hand grabbed her shoulder and she made way for the older woman.

"Winning or not, my badge isn't a handout," the gym leader said heavily, "it's a symbol-- that the owner is capable of clear thought and teamwork-- of doing the right thing in a tough situation." Her eyes were tired, haggard, but she carried on talking, "You want to fight for it, then fight, but your battle isn't with me. It's with them."

Wayne walked up, brow lightly furrowed, serious but delicate. "Sal, we can talk this through later; these guys need to be stopped. But, y'know, I don't think I can do it alone," he let through a playful smirk, "C'mon, let's get these assholes back for what they did at the Dreamyard."

--

"Are you okay?" Zack asked Elizabeth some ways away, hands on her shoulders and dipping his head to meet her downcast eyes. She nodded, said she was fine and he let go, "Gorm was with them."
"So you're planning on fighting then?" Elizabeth said, looking up at her husband. He was quiet, then said yes. "Just be careful, okay?"

They embraced, Zack resting his neck to her head and closing his eyes. Gorm was strong. Their dojo match had been a playfight, just a chance to mess around, any experienced fighter could tell that they weren't being serious. But at the same time it was obvious what would happen if they did stop playing nice:

Gorm had been trained to utilize his Aura, probably to aid his endurance similar to Houseman. It'd explain how his fist survived the initial exchange. If they ended up fighting, it'd be a test to see if Zack's firepower could overpower Gorm's defenses. And he wasn't sure that he could win that. Not alone.

"Artemis," Zack called over, holding Elizabeth away and she started rifling through her bag, "c'mon, I need your help."

"I'll stay here," Elizabeth said, holding a pokéball in her hand, "Lenora's down so somebody needs to stay behind in case they come back. Fatass is with me, it should be okay."
"It will be," Zack put his fingers through her hair, thumb softly brushing her forehead and she looked up at him. They kissed, Zack said, "'Believe in those who fight for you," he stepped past her towards the forest, "and always fight for what you believe in.' Remember that, Elizabeth?"

With a final nod, he sped up and started towards the forest. At top speed, Zack left Olympic medalists eating dust, thanks in no small part to the powerful aura coursing through his body. He made some distance, and Elizabeth looked hesitant. It had been a long time since they'd been in a situation like this, a long time since Zack had fought properly. She had a bad feeling about it all. Her hand twitched and it jolted her into action.

"Zack!" she shouted and he slowed, turning around in time to see her lob the pokéball across to him. He snatched it out of the air with an electric snap. Xen's pokéball - the Zangoose was his one-time training partner. The perfect pokémon back-up.

Allowing time for Artemis to catch up with him, Zack then turned and ran off as fast as he could.

The gas came too suddenly for Avan to react; who had been too busy enjoying the final bite of his breakfast. The mist he recognized almost instantly as the Munna line's mist, but dropped too quickly to even formulate what was going on. It was stronger than any sleeping pill he had ever took; and wondered if he could get-

*

When he came to, Avan could see the others who had gathered were woken as well. He was breathing heavily and sat up and noticed he was covered in a cold sweat, and anyone who looked at him would see his sunken eyes. It looked as if he had just seen a ghost; a terrifying one. But whatever he saw in his dream-state, had vanished at the drop of hat thanks to the Audino's healing beam. For a moment he was lost in his own mind, that is, until Lenora appeared.

A badge for stopping Plasma? The thought to him wasn't as ridiculous as it was to Salieri. Either way, he knew they'd be in for a fight. And it wasn't like he was going to just ignore Team Plasma; no, not that, Baku would kill him.

As he gathered his thoughts, Avan over heard Wayne speak to the battle girl; and silently agreed to the other boy's words.

"I guess I didn't have anything else important to get done today..." He lied, loud enough for who ever bothered to hear him. It was his, almost sarcastic (but not quite), way of agreeing to the gym leader's plea.

With everyone waking, he stood, a bit wobbly before calming himself, and waited for the others. It was safer in numbers, right?

((So yeah, if things happen before I get home from class, Avan will automatically just follow everybody, or whoever.))

Unlike Wayne, Sal's brow was furrowed in frustrated thought at what Lenora told her. "Sounds like a cop out to me." What Lenora said was a good rationalization. It still made Salieri angry, though. When she started her journey, she expected the typical eight gym battles and then a league. Already at the second gym she was beginning to stumble. This mishap would cost her her so far perfect record, not to mention going against the very principle of what she thought a gym was for.

Salieri glared back up at Wayne sharply. For a moment, her annoyance settled on him. But then she gave him a grin that showed off her pointy little fang-like canine teeth. He had a point. Now was not the time to have this quarrel. Although she had problems with the offer, she also had problems with letting Bill and the rest of Plasma get what they wanted. "Well, cowboy, since you put it that way..."

The Battle Girl held up one hand like a claw and flexed her fingers. They cracked loudly, and she did the same thing for the other hand. "When I'm done with this chore, I'll have more than enough merit or whatever you want to call it to take that symbol off your hands."

Her foot slid across the ground, flipping the shinai up into the air in a swift motion. Sal caught it with one hand and tossed it over to Henrietta with a nod. "You better show me that you deserve to hold onto that soul of yours, Henrietta."

Salieri then began to walk. "The game's changed up!" she yelled over her shoulder to the other trainers. Now it wasn't about beating Lenora first. "Whoever gets that skull back is the new winner!" Her intimidatingly murderous grin was plastered on her face. Truth be told, at this point she just wanted to fight. What better opponent was there than one who had their defeat coming? No one hits ME with a door and gets away with it.

Her walk began to evolve into a quick stride, before transforming into an all out sprint. While she didn't have Zack's speed, she could be compared to those Olympic medalists that would be hypothetically eating his dust.

Luka awoke to the sound of Lenora's tired and weary voice. She was offering the gym badge for stopping Plasma from taking something important. What was it? He rummaged through the contents of the Museum with his knackered brain and reached two potential conclusions. That bizarre rock or the Dragonite Skeleton, at least, part of it anyway.

Luka forced himself to his feet. He returned his Pokémon who now stood around him, wide awake. He attached their Poké balls to his belt and the fury was evident in his eyes. "Lenora, what did they steal?"

If Luka got his hands on the ones who defiled this building he would make them pay. He would bring them to justice no matter what. That he promised to himself. He was ready to charge but decided it more prudent to find out the few necessary facts before leaping into action.
