The capture of Ryan Grey Alashuko The Fighter The capture of Ryan Grey My name is Haley. I'm 17 and i'm in-the-closet gay. I've never told my parents because i'm afraid of what they'd say (they are super religious). I have never dated anyone because i'm too shy.. sweatdrop If you want to come out to a super religious person, make sure to arm yourself with knowledge of the bible. Here are some videos that might help you out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YamgndPI5eIhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-WZ4ixtE9MAnd if this doesn't help, try to get your folks to watch For The Bible Tells Me So. It's a very good documentary. Thank you so much! This means a lot to me!!

I'm not sure if I ever introduced myself. But I was on hiatus a long time and I've been back since about May. I've been pretty busy with my own guild, and I considered leaving this guild. But once I got here I couldn't do it. xD I suppose I can find the time to post here sometimes.
I'm Spenelli, have been for about 10 years now. :3 Yes, it's a Recess reference. I'm Ashley Shepard, the only Ashley from my high school who wasn't "preppy". I dressed like Spinelli too. Loved stocking caps. I got over that, thankfully. xD My best friend noticed our similarities and suggested I use Spinelli as a webmaster name. Spinelli was taken, and I became Spenelli, or Spen for short. :3
I'm currently 26 years old and have been on Gaia 10 years!
I have been confused about myself as I long as I can remember. Now I just consider myself a human who can fall in love with anyone. A few times in my life I wondered if I was a boy in a girls body. I used to be a tomboy extreme, I think it started when my dad was my main parent. As a little girl you would have thought I was a boy if not for my hair. I was always covered in dirt, wearing a baseball cap and a jersey. Around 16 I moved in with a friend who felt she had to give me makeovers constantly and I ended up being more girlie in the process. Over the years I became girlie extreme. xD My favorite color is pink and I prefer to wear dresses over anything. A complete flip from the younger me.
I have only dated one girl and it ended very badly, she had lied about her age. I really liked her and it both disgusted me and devastated me. My luck with women is terrible. I would fall in love and they would be oblivious. I have been intimate with one girl as well, she was my best friend.. scandalous! Haha. I'm more physically attracted to women but I tend to understand men a lot better. I'm currently dating a great guy named Pete, we've been together over a year. I think we will be together forever. He is more like me than anyone I've ever dated.
I hope to make a few friends here now that I've returned. :3

Hi guys!
I'm Mirri. I'm a 28 year old bisexual woman. Currently in a relationship with a woman, though I'm also into ethical polyamory but am not currently seeking out any other partners. That will probably change in a year. >>
I'm also a MSW (Master's in Social Work) student. My primary focus/specializations are LGBT + Mental Health. I have worked with the LGBT community in the past, I've worked with the HIV/AIDS community, as well as with adults with severe and persistent mental illness - I've also worked with LGBT individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and I've found that there are not a lot of qualified folks who know how to work with both aspects. I was saddened over the summer when a discussion came up in one of my classes over the term Cisgender and I was the only one besides the professor who understood the term, knowing full well that I wasn't even the only LGBT individual in the class.
I am an atheist/secular humanist, however I am tolerant of spirituality because I have witnessed first hand the healing aspects it has had on some of the people I work with. I have not participated in organized religion in over ten years, though I do respect people's rights/wants to practice it.
In my free time, I roleplay, play video games, read, and do cosplay stuffs. =3
