Ballad is one of 4 (current) children. The Lord of Music and his Lady Song had 4 children: Ballad, Hymn, Lyric and Melody. Ballad was the first born child, and while somewhat plain, was considered the best politician and often sent as an envoy (of peace or war, depending on his sire's mood). Ballad was good to send, as he didn't automatically piss anyone off by A. Being an Alpha Male (Hymn), B. Seducing someone's husband (Melody), or C. Being delicate and therefore perceived as weak thus inviting attack (Lyric).

Eventually he got REALLY TIRED of his dad's issues. (And Tempo has so very many issues let's not even.) THUS did he just 'nope' right out. Took off completely, ran for days. Family thought he was dead. Eventually an angel hunted him down and literally knocked him out to make him rest.

So anyway... one of the angels kinda went "really tired of your s**t, bro" and made him take a nap... And he thought of this girl (and it's vague as to where she came from before that... purposefully)

They have... 7 kids. Life is good. (Until that shop decides to go down hill and we have to evacuate. SO! Quest and arrival in Soquili) Whistle turns up in Soq, damaged from the destruction of her homeland and with amnesia...

She wanders for about a year, before I let her and Ballad find each other again (partially due to questing him and getting a slot). During that time she runs into one of her sons (Aveshar, who most resembles Tempo and is kinda a whole lot of jerkface). When she and Ballad meet up, he has Kel in tow (Her Unicorn son) who heals her, and yay memory is (mostly) back and so are 2 of her sons.


(Yay). So they're "looking" for their other children. (Most of which are not coming because oh my god so many babies I cannot) and trying for children "in" land. (7 years pass because they are apparently not very fertile in this shop I'm just sayin).

Meanwhile, they are great great grandparents because Ave & Kel both had kids, and then Ave's son had kids. XD
