Hars chatters her flat nondescript teeth. "That was not welcome, carrion!" Of course she avoided the worst of it, that wasn't the point.
((Is this a lingering zone I need to avoid?))

Deftly she slips through the ranks of the kobolds ((shift to C5)) and twirls her blades, sending a series of jabs to both the slinger and the foolish skirmisher who thought he could flank her.
((Funneling Flurry @21 vs K2's AC, Sneak attack expended for 4+7+6=17 damage and slide to D6/@17 vs L2's AC, 8 damage and slide to C6))

"Then don't stand in the middle of the rutting kobolds," Gerash expresses his sympathy.

((it only lasts a round, but starting it in makes you take a 21vs. Fort attack for 8 damage, half on a miss. That's the first of the two strings of rolls i made after thin initial attack, for Nayr's reference))

4 - Gerash: 37/39hp

((Still need Grashuk to make a save against the ongoing fire damage))

Hars makes her point to Gerash... as she is once again attacked by his lingering spell! Her fortitude isn't strong enough this time and she takes 8 cold damage! Brrrrr! Trying to ignore her traitorous comrade, the changeling steps between striking spears deftly and attacks two of the little beasts. The one who flanked her last turn is completely taking by surprise at Hars' agility and her blade sinks right into his kidney's and sends him to his death. Her other blade also finds its mark, and the slinger cries out in pain as Hars slicing blade bloodies him and pushes him around the changeling's side.

The Wyrmpriest is once more attacked by Gerash's chilling cloud and he takes 13 cold damage! Ouch! The lingering spell bloodies him. Seeing another of his crew go down though his resolve is renewed and he launches a ball of acid at Hars. The fighter may be nimble, but the kobolds aim is great and she takes 8 acidic damage to the face.

Three of the slingers are once more attacked by Gerash's spell; one is crit missed, the other is critted for 13 damage! He goes down frozen solid! And the third is hit normally for 9 coldage, bloodying him. The remaining three slingers then all once again co-ordinate their attacks, all at Grashuk again. Two of the special shots miss, but the one with the firey bullets is a crack shot and once more hits Grashuk! ((Don't worry about that save from earlier now, it won't matter either way!))

As the slingers reload their slings, all of you, even the less perceptive of you hear; "RRROOOOOOAAAAARR!" Looking for the source of the bellow, you see two scaly winged creatures. Their scales are a dull gray, their eyes are gleaming with hunger and dried acid is caked around thier thin lips. Two gray dragon wyrmlings! ((They are marked D1 and D2, their whole turn was spent getting to where they are))

Heartened by the arrival of powerful allies, the skirmishers get ready to pierce some Ravenholmiens! Although two of them are subject to Gerash's spell first. The one nearest the dragon takes 12 cold damage, which bloodies him, and the one furthest away from the beasts takes 6 damage. The skirmishers then all attack, the two caked in ice move in and flank Hars, while the other carries on his little battle with Grashuk. Hars dodges one of the pointy spears, but the other kobold strikes true and pierces Hars' soft flesh for 13 damage. The kobolds work well when attacking in groups it seems. Hars is bloodied! Grashuk fares better against his kobold antagonist and easily deflects the weak attacks that come from the singular creature.

Grashuk, new save please! Then Grashuk, Cain, Pelloth and Gerash may go! ((I will control Pelloth due to Vora's vacation))

Cain was getting bored with these fights. Humans, Kobold, Big metallic insect things. How could he channel power to his Lord if all those he'd slain had little power themselves? This was why his Lord was giving Cain less power, He had been angry with Cain for not fulfilling His wishes.

That's when the Wyrmlings appeared, and a wicked smile appeared on the Kenku's face.

He took his new pet, and put him under the hat Hars had made him. Cain didn't want the baby to be frightened. He then walked purposefully towards the Dragon kin, and lifted his sword towards the ceiling.

"FOR THE ELDER ELEMENTAL EYE!!!" Cain squawked, before thrusting his blade down into the Dragon. As he did, Unholy purple and black flames appeared above his head in an evil halo. Though instead of illuminating his face, it bathed it in shadow. Through the shadow, Cain's beady eyes shone clearly. A vibrant purple, chilling all that looked upon him to the bone.

"I am the Vessel for my Lord."

Gerash is quite satisfied as the kobolds fall and/or become frost-bitten by his spell, but when the dragons burst into the room, any amusement he felt quickly gives way to a stern focus. Stepping back to be sure he wouldn't be the most convenient target of their ire, the necromancer points his orb at the draconic duo.

Skeletal hands materialize in the air and surge toward them. Against Cain's sworn target the phantom claws dig into it and hold back its claws and jaws. Its sibling is more fortunate, and manages to nimbly avoid the spell.

((So that dragon-killing super sword of awesome I'm carrying... is that one-handed or two-handed, and what is it's base hit and damage?))

Grashuk turned his head at the roar, and saw a pair of dragon wyrmlings approach. He couldn't believe his luck! Just the other day he had realized that the blade he had taken from the half-orc was able to take on the properties of killed dragons, and here was one now!

However, he was still being assaulted by the lizard-rats who considered themselves civilized. One problem at a time. Dancing around the side of the kobold, Grashuk would slice his sword across its chest. "Move it, Hars! Kill these idiots and go help Cain before he gets himself eaten!"

Grashuk remembered the sword that he owned, the one that would take on new properties when bathed in draconic blood....awesome. But first he had to slay some bloody kobolds. Taking a step towards Hars, the Bugbear swung his b*****d sword at the bastarding kobold. It almost avoided the swipe, but Grashuk corrected at the last second and managed to take a chunk out of the creatures' shoulder. He then inspires Hars to greater feats of daring, the changeling takes a quick side step and becomes un-bloodied! Hars can shift 1. After this Grashuk quickly pats at the miniature fire on his clothing, but fails to put it out.

Finally, some worthy souls to send to Tharizdun! After making sure his new pet Kruthik is safe in his Hars knitted hat, Cain then walked towards the roaring wyrmling, shouted a battle cry and thrust his wicked blade deep into the dragon's scaly flesh. The powerful blows fazes the dragon, who also looks disturbed by Cain's new facade. The Avenger then prepares to aid an ally, should they choice to gang up on the dragon.

Ignoring the Dragons like the cool customer that he is, Pelloth lays a curse on the nearest kobold before launching an eldritch blast at him. The slightly weak strike bloodies the creature nonetheless.

Probably thinking, 'Oh how inconvenient', at the dragons, Gerash steps away from them to a safer distance before calling up claws of a frozen nature. One of the dragons avoids the attack nimbly, but the other was so distracted by Cain's aura of menace that it didn't notice the claws until it was too late.

"Oh ********, dragons? You've got to be kidding me..." Daelos flings another dagger at the dragon by Cain...miss. ((Another 2 on the roll, seriously wtf is up with his rolls?!?!))

Hars, have your free shift and then have your turn!

Hars slips out of the kobold's flank and twirls her blades once. "Grashuk, you know just how to talk to a lady." With that she whirls into a dance of blades, weaving and cutting kobolds like a diplomat greets dignitaries at a state ball.

Hars uses Grashuk's opening to take a step towards the wyrmpriest, who hisses in defiance. She then thanks the Bugbear before stepping into a beautiful display of swordsmanship that leaves the three kobolds she attacks worse for wear. The first one she attacks, goes down clutching his torn apart throat. The second one shares the same fate, and its arm goes flying as it thumps to the ground. The third one is the only survivor, but is still bloodied by the flurry of blades.

Seeing Hars take down two of his kobolds, the wymrpriest cries, "You ********' b***h!" In Draconic, before walking around the wall and launching a ball of acid in Hars' direction. But the fighter keeps up her masterful display of acrobatic fighting and dodges the green missile with ease, causing more curses to be spouted from the kobolds scaly mouth.

The slinger by Hars almost shits herself in fear, but manages to compose herself enough to shift shift away to safety before joining her only other remaining slinger in launches two special bullets at Grashuk. But their fear overcomes them both and the bullets are far off course.

As the Gray Dragon Wyrmling begins to attack Cain, it wobbles a bit at the pure intimidation of the Kenku. Trying to ignore the menacing presence, it aims two claws at Cain. One misses, but in its rage the other claw CRITS! the Kenku. The residue acid on the dragons claws also immobilize Cain and give him 5 ongoing damage! Roaring at its success, it then gives an intimidating draconic grin.

The other Dragon glares at Daelos and lowers its head, before roaring and charging at the Bloodstone Stalker. It pounces and rakes both its claws at the elf's face. In its exuberance though, it misses wildly with both attacks, slips on its hind legs and falls prone! Lucky ol' Daelos.

The two remaining skirmishers quickly exchange some tactics before shifty shifting into flanking positions around Hars once more. Hars only has time to block one spear before the other sticks right into her thigh for 9 damage! Hars is once more bloodied!

It seems as though you're wearing down the kobolds, although be careful about those dragons.... Grashuk, Cain, Pelloth and Gerash may go!

A feral grin spreading across the bugbear's lips as he continued to follow Har's dance of death. "So you're counting yourself as female now? Maybe you've been in that half-elf form for too long. Still, I prefer doing over talking."

To illustrate his point, the bugbear used his shield hand to grab the shirt-front of the kobold he had been following, and pulled the lizard in close. At the same time, the warlord drove his broadsword into its gut, before pulling the weapon sideways to cut its way out of the skirmisher.

"Is that better?"

Seeing the kenku get rent by the dragonling's claw despite his spell, Gerash resorts to more severe methods of putting down the beast. Aiming his orb at the creature, a bolt of pure blackness lances at the wyrmling, sapping its strength and turning its scales black at the point of contact. Meanwhile, he silently wished the one assaulting Daelos better luck. All the better if the elf was softened up before they stabbed him in the back.

The Dragon must have been scared, because it's defence had been lowered. Though like most beasts, it reacted with anger rather than showing it's fear. And it's anger hurt. With the acid still burning away at his feathers, Cain's aim was slightly hindered. But he needed to kill this beast.

His Lord needed it.

Grashuk takes a step torwards the kobold who just stabbed Hars, the creature turns round as the bugbear grabs him, sticks him and causes his innards to fall out; his body falls to the ground with a thump. His move gives Hars the opportunity to n** away from the remianing kobold. Grashuk then finally manages to put out the small fire on his body!

Cain was getting desperate to appease his Lord, he needed the deaths that Cain sent him, and Cain had found a big one. Dodging a bite sent his way, the Kenku brought his broadsword down on the dragons exposed neck; the blade embedded itself deep and caused a spray of blood to explode onto Cain's dirty feathers. The dragon yelp in pain as Cain stood and shook the acid off of his body.

Pelloth laid a curse on the nearest enemy, the other dragon, before aiming an eldritch blast towards it. Unfortunately since the beast was prone, Pelloth had a hard time aiming and his attack went wide.

Gerash's spell worked last time, just not well enough. This time would be different. The blackness that erupts from his orb smacks into the already bloodied creature and saps its strength, causing another howl of pain to seep from the creatures mouth.

Finally, Daelos may be able to hit something! Screaming with rage, the Bloodstone Stalker lifts his dagger over the top of the prone dragon and puts all his strength into sticking it through the beasts' belly. Yes! Success! Daelos stabs the dragon for 17 damage.

Hars, free shift and then go!
