"Hmm!?" Shiki flinched a bit from the sudden, loud shout that appeared behind him. Turning around, he saw a young man, maybe a few years older then him, "You surprised me there, bearface-san." Shiki didn't know what to call him, so he picked out the trait that made him stand out for a nickname. "I'm just training, y'know, with knives. It's important for a ninja to be good in more then just one area." the genin said, looking intently at the jounin. How did he sneak up on him so well? While awaiting his response, he pondered the thought of what technique could he have used.

While awaiting Bearface-san's response, Shiki thought it best to continue training himself. He wouldn't waste time, he wanted to learn what he could while he was still a genin. "Alright, the next technique...Dirty Reflection?".

It was a simple technique, though it could prove to be a great distraction once used right. One would reflect sunlight of their knives in a way that, it would be a more focused amount. Shiki didn't see the point of fooling an opponent in such a way, but if he had to learn it. He would.

First informing his dummy of the basics of the technique, he then had it perform it. He studied how the dummy positioned the blade just right, allowing a strong ray of light to be reflected. Shiki then tried to achieve the same result with his blade, he stood in the sun-bathed area of the dojo grounds.

First trying to copy what Mokujin had done earlier, he tried to move his blade left to right, hoping to find the correct position to reflect the light. It was much easier to learn when one had a personal wooden trainer helping them, Shiki found the correct position with ease. After a few hours of practicing the technique, Shiki moved on to learn the next. [Dirty Reflection Learned]

The Konin smiled at the kid, who acknoweldged the need to practice multiple things. Maybe San would grow to like the kid after all....

"Very true, and spoken well. My name is Sanshi Satetsu, Konin of Sunagakure. Whats your name?"

"I see, Bearface-san is Sanshi Satetsu-san. Nice to meet you~" Shiki had a faint smile, this man was a Konin, a man who beat near impossible odds to reach the level of power that he had, it excited him slightly on the inside to see such a sight. "I'm Shiki Narumi, probably the oldest genin in Sunagakure, because doing missions to rank up doesn't interest me as much as training." Shiki said calmly, for him, rank mattered much less if he had no skill to back it up.

Again, while awaiting San's response, he would continue his intense and tiring training. He sighed, despite having the physical capability to learn these styles he still lacked the overall stamina to allow him to use it on the same level as a Taijutsu or Bukijutsu specialist. It didn't matter to him though if his weapon or physical skills couldn't beat the opponent, he had his illusions, and if that did not work he had his secret technique, something Shiki had been developing over his long childhood.

The next technique was a fierce and powerful one, one of the few actual offensive techniques in the style. Vital Poke was a stab to the stomach, chest or upper arm/leg that could disable the opponent and cause great internal pain. Shiki was sure that he would enjoy learning this.

He would first try to get a hang of channeling his chakra through to his hand. Such an easy feat was done fast for someone like Shiki, who had excellent control over his chakra flow. Within seconds of trying, a small aura began to form around his freehand.

Now facing Mokujin, his wooden trainer, who had been instructed to try to avoid Shiki's poke and act as if he was in pain should he be hit. Shiki started charging at Mokujin, trying to find an opening for his attack. It was not as easy as usual, Mokujin seemed to catch on to Shiki's normal style of fighting, and adapted to it. It was probably what made it such a great trainer, it forced those who relied on it to learn to adapt to any situation.

As the training fight between Mokujin and Shiki dragged on, it seemed as if the young genin could never find an opening. This was until he managed to mess up the wooden puppet's footing. While it fell, Shiki rushed to thrust his finger into the dummy's chest, claiming victory. "Alright! I'll work on my taijutsu now." he smiled as he said it.

Kien walked into the room with a smile. He had heard that the ninja of Sungakure were some of the best. He was arguably one of the best shinobi in his village so it was natural he wanted to test one of them. He gazed out at the shinobi training and said aloud to anyone who was listening," Hello." It was not a demand for attention but more of a is anyone paying attention to the foreign shinobi waltzing around the city.

San's attention immedeatly shifted to the new voice in the room. His signature was not one of the standard Suna nin, but it reeked of power and strength. With just his voice, and his gut feeling, San smirked as he replied in a casual tone.

"You.....are the Hunter from Cloud. The Uchiha. Well isnt this interesting, a first encounter for me. Sorry we had to meet under these conditions, you know, killing your own rogue gennin that you cant seemed to have been able to control. What exactly happened to the kid that made him leave? You village cant honestly be THAT bad...."

The words he had spoken were not meant to demean or insult, but merely a statement of an observation. Suna had never had a deserter, probably due to the fear of the "wrath of God".....being Bast and Mam. So the fact someone would outwardly leave their village, then attack a member of a neutral village.....was something else at play?

He had caught himself from moving his left hand to push the gennin away incase the nin had been a threat. He obviously wasn't now, speaking and announcing presence and entrance into the building. San liked this gesture, it was a display and respect of protocol as well as a respect and acceptance of the strength and power of the Suna nin. Had the Hunter entered and been trying to sneak around....then the Satetsu would have unleashed a full fury of Suna on him. A cloud nin had already tried to enter once, and was excicuted. A leaf nin had sent a spy, and he too was eliminated. For Suna being a neutral village...they seemed to have their share of combat.

Kein chuckled and said," Indeed it is a shame. I had hoped to venture here on my own to test my ability's but fate seems to have forced my hand. As for why the boy left, well his reasoning is beyond me. I do not know what runs within the mind of a treasonous dog. His friend contemplated the same in attempting to take my life but paid instantly for it with his own. Fate saw fit to permit me to end both of their treasonous and dishonorable lives and I am grateful for it. Our village is fair and honorable in its dealings as long as those being dealt with retain the same.I wonder what do you know of us? I will admit I know very little about this village and am rather interested about a great many things."He kept his tone calm and respectful he knew how to play the game. This was not his first time dealing with foreign shinobi and it sure would not be his last.

The satetsu nodded, in a statement of "fair enough." It seemed the Shinobi cared for his village greatly. Despite it not being Suna, San could respect his love for his village. There seemed to not be enough people in the world like that, and it was people like him and the Satetsu that would maintain order, balance, and control over the five great nations.

"Hmm...i see. So like an Uchiha you are always searching for a test...a challenge? Well then....what are your views of peace and prosperity then? I have always been interested. Tales of your clan are all throughout the lands, and i am interested to hear about you from a first hand account. As to answer your question, Suna is and will always be a neutral village. Isolationism as you can call it really: we are very happy and content with our heat, sun, and sand. We have what water we need, and do what action is needed to maintain the neutrality, security, and prosperity of my village. I believe you hold the same ideals?"

The Satetsu, not being threatening, allowed his Iron Sand to spread throughout the room. Seeing as the ninja had forsaken his sense of sight and strengthened his other senses, it was always welcomed to experience another through more then one way. The Iron sand being controlled by his magnetic chakra field would allow San to more so "Experience" and feel Kein as opposed to just listening.

Kein shrugged his shoulders and said," In order to understand our views one must first understand our creation. My family gained its fame and prowess in battle. Conflict is how my family grows stronger. The only way for an Uchiha to reach his full power is through death and battle. So naturally we seek combat as a way of achieving it. We fought with the Senju clan for near on a century before we came to terms and founded the hidden leaf village. Since then it has been nothing more than brother killing brother and cousin killing cousin for nothing more than the sake of fame and power. A clan in such a state is one that cannot survive. So as the stronest of my clan I have taken it upon myself to gather every single Uchiha under me to prevent this. All of this started because we do not have a single defined enemy. So peace has its place but I would muchly prefer open war to false peace if nothing more than to stop the infighting among my clan." He had no issue with telling the man about his clan weather or not this man knew of his intentions was pointless. However Kein memorized every single detail the man said about his village.

San nodded, agreeing with certain view points the uchiha spoke. His clan had never had problems like that, as they all tended to be good strategists and all coming from the common village of Suna. Yet he could relate the needing of consolidation to Suna. He would do the same if Suna was in the condition his clan was.

"True peace....interesting. I am never one to shy from conflict, but a true master is able to defeat the enemy without raising his sword. Well thats at least what my dad used to tell me."

The Satetsu was packed with sayings like that. His Father, though dying at an early age in San's life, had at least taken the time to start him on the right foot. Everything he did was in memory of him, from his own path to his raising of Sarus. Could the Uchiha relate to that?

Kein smiled proudly and said," My father was a victim of said infighting." He was not ashamed of the fact. His father was a powerful shinobi and a worthy target for anyone seeking power. He nodded and said," Those who fight with words have their uses but I will stick to talking with my fists thank you. People tend to get the hint faster that way." HE was nowhere near ashamed of his violent side.

This made San smile. He never thought he could maybe like an Uchiha. If Suna was a non neutral village, then maybe they coulda been allies. They could be friends, but unless Mam cleared an alliance they would ever be allies. Replying, San spoke about his side as well....

"I can give you that. I prefer....well...aggressive negotiations......."

Kein smiled this man was interesting to say the least. He nodded and said," They are the best kind." He looked around and saw the mass of gennin. He raised and eyebrow and said," Fresh out of the academy are they ?"

San nodded, answering the Hunters questions. He wasnt going to divulge the major details, cause that would be giving away too much information about possible Suna ilitary strength.

"Yup. Well...most of them are. We have a few chunnin amongst them. "
