(Yes indeed)
The front doors of the large estate soon opened up, walking in was Nicholas' father. He was a tall and very well built man, his hair sliced back for the "Business" look. His eyes were stern and strong, something needed for business, but easily loosens to a much more relaxed look. Nicholas walked downstairs, not sure what he should tell him about while he was away on business. "Hey dad." He simply said, giving a wave.
His stern eyes soon went relaxed and a light smile grew on his fathers face. "Nicholas! My I missed you these past weeks!" He exclaimed, giving him a big hug.
"Dad! Dad! Hurting... me..." Nicholas uttered as he was given the "Dad" hug.
His dad simply smiled and let go, looking around the house. "I see the place looks as well as it does when I left. How is the slave working out for you? Where is she anyway?" He asked, wanting to know if his gift wasn't a waste to Nicholas.

Leila walked into the foyer from a door that led from the dining room. "I'm here, Master Alexander," she said, bowing her head a little and not meeting his or Nicholas's eyes the way a slave was expected to. "Chef has prepared a meal for you return, and I was setting the table when you entered. Please, come into the dining room and enjoy." She held the door open for the two men.

"Ah. Why thank you Slave. I'll be there once I wash up." He said as he gave his coat to one of her maids.
"Her name is Leila, Dad." Nick said to him, quiet sternly too.
"Ah yes. I've forgotten already! I'm terrible with names you see and spending three weeks with different people is always trouble." He said to Leila with a laugh. He may seem stern and strict, but he really is a huge teddy bear.
As he left, Nicholas looked over to Leila with a smile. "You doing okay with him around?" He asked her, quickly going over to kiss her cheek. "When do you think we should tell him?" He asked her.

Leila smiled obediently in return to the older man's comment. She quickly gave Nicholas's hand a gentle squeeze when he came over to kiss her. "I'm all right, Nicholas. Don't worry," she said softly. "If we could, I'd keep this a secret for a little longer, but if you feel it's the right time, you should tell him."

"Ok. I think we should keep it a secret too. He's not home too often anyway so it should be safe enough." He said to her, giving her one last kiss on the cheek before going over back to where he was to sit down.
His father came back and dinner was served. Talk didn't start until his dad said something. "So, how are the studies coming along? You've been studying for you lessons right?" He asked.
Nicholas, although not doing much anymore since he know more than he needs to so far, nodded. "Yes father. My studies are doing just fine." He said, taking another bite of his food. "When's your next trip?" Nick then asked.
His father sighed and looked at him with a rather disappointed face. "Well, I have a short weekend trip coming up in a few days, and then right after that I'm traveling to Europe for a business trip. I'll be gone for over a month. Sorry. I was hoping I could spend some time with you Nick." He said, his job unable to give he the time he wanted with his son.
"It's okay dad. Your successful at what you do which is great." He said with a smile.
"I'll try to find time off soon okay? I do miss spending time with you." He said to him. "At least you have a friend. Leila may be your slave, but I'm sure over time you two have become friends. I don't see you as the commanding type of person or anything." He said with a laugh, Nicholas laughing too.
"Yea... friends..." He said, quickly looking over at Leila with a smile and then back at his father.

Leila smiled back, keeping herself from chuckling, and continued serving their dinner. She didn't sit down once she'd finished, but stayed standing in a corner where she wouldn't be too noticeable just in case either Nicholas or his father wanted something.

The rest of the dinner was pretty simple. Nick's dad just talked about his trip and about the different businessmen that were there as well. Nick listened, but he didn't really care much, not interested in business. After dinner, his father went to his room to work since he had an assignment that needed to be completed for work, leaving Nick and Leila together again. Nick moved over to Leila with a smile. "Sorry. That's how dad like's to talk. Heck that's most of what he talks about. Pretty boring stuff really." He said, taking her hand. "Where would you like to go for us to hang out? The dinning room really isn't the best place to talk." He said to her.

Leila gave his hand a squeeze, smiling. "The library?" she suggested. "I could set up the fireplace for us again."

"Alright. Would you want me to get "Serious" like the last time?" He asked, giving her hand a squeeze as they headed for the library.

Leila giggled and rested her head on Nicholas's shoulder as they walked. "Only if you want to," she said softly.

Leila laughed at Nicholas's goofiness. "Well, at this rate, nothing's going to happen."

Nicholas nodded and went to get the fire started. "You can get the quilt if you wanna snuggle under it again." He said, putting some small logs in the fire and putting some lighter fluid on it. It didn't take long to start the fire let alone the room slowly heating up.

Leila smiled and shook her head. "We ended up not really needing the quilt last time," she chuckled. "I think we can do without today."

"Ok. Um, are you gonna keep your tail and ears hidden?" He asked, rather liking when her tail wraps around him gently. He sat down next to her, taking her hand and lightly squeezing it.
