Not not really. My mom's cat is a huge a*****e and she destroys things.
Like she literally chewed up every shoe they own and all my mom's purses. She ate my laptop charger. >_>
My cat is a bit chubby, though she's also a big (proportions wise) cat in general so her weight is pretty evenly distributed.
She has a little bit hanging down on her sides but that's due to being spayed, not because she's big. xD

does discipline work on your moms cat?
