* Guardians of the Twilight

[Crimson-Valkyrie]

Gray played with his sword as he moved along through the forest with energy to spare. He wasn't sure where he was going with some of his training but it was better then sleeping around on a branch all day.

After countless hours of mastering a number of sword tactics and moves, Gray removed his shirt and rested along side a tree. He had worked up a good work out he figured but he grew tired of training and no real action. His heart told him there was something coming close but he ignored it for the longest time.  

[Demon_Lord_Kaguya]

"Where are we gunna go now?" She asked her group.  

[Crimson-Valkyrie]

Time passed slowly it would seem and Gray's heart grew heavy. The feeling that something was coming grew around him and struck before he could reach for his sword.

A demon 8 feet taller then he, growled at Gray, holding his own sword in his left hand. "You disturb my domain." He said in a deep voice. Gray had managed to pull away from the tree and take up his sword in his right hand again. "Stupid demon. Who said you could even have a domain!?" He shouted leaping up into the air, only to be forced back down by the demon, who seemed to have caught a grip on his ankle. "dammit!" The man cursed being slammed into the ground.

The demon was forced to let go after Gray stabbed him with his sword. Gray heard the creature scream, he was sure most of the forest would hear, maybe further.

Quickly he pulled away and dashed forward, slicing his left arm off, watching the blade that had been in the monsters grip fall to the dirty ground.

The demon continued to scream but hit Gray in the arm with great force, breaking it. Gray gasped slightly and pulled back just before he pushed forward and jumped once again into the air, now at eye level with the demon. He had made his move swift and quick, slashing his blade up the side of the demons face. That's when Gray knew he was finished with the battle. The demon screamed in agony and fled back into the safety of the dark forest.

Gray hissed at the pain in his arm and leaned against the side of the tree and felt his back sting like daggers were poking him. When he had been forced to the ground by the demon, he had fallen on some sharp rocks. Gray's breathing had picked up but slowly he lowered his head and stared at his sword. Damn it all... Gray thought before the pain in his arm rose. Slowly he let the darkness take him and Gray passed out by the tree.  

[Sebastian Kierrn]

Sebastian picked up the sound of screaming."We could go towards that and see whats going on."He said to Rie, he spoke telepathically so that Haruka probably didn't hear what he said because he didn't project the words to everyone.  

[Demon_Lord_Kaguya]

Rie nodded. "Yeah, let's go!" She said and ran towards the screams.  

[Sebastian Kierrn]

[Sebastian trotted alongside Rie, he matched her pace instead of running full speed. His speed and agility were higher than humanoids in this form, so it didn't take him much effort to keep up.  

[Demon_Lord_Kaguya]

They reached the forest and scouted around for the person that made the scream. "It's that one guy we seen in the market place!" Exclaimed Rie.  

[Sebastian Kierrn]

Sebastian looked at him and nodded."Yes, yes it is."He said telepathically. He may not have been seen, but he had watched the entire marketplace scene with interest. His inner chaos demon was still in a drunken stupor from everything that had happened.  

[Crimson-Valkyrie]

Gray lay there as a dead image. He had his belongings not far from where the tree was. There was a silence over him that only a graveyard could recognize. Little did he know that the screams of the demon would have been heard by two of the most unlikely people he had expected to venture so far into the forest.  

[Demon_Lord_Kaguya]

"Sebastian, do you think you can beat it?" Rie asked worridly as she sat by the man from the marketplace, trying to heal him.  

[Sebastian Kierrn]

Sebastian sniffed around the man."It was a middle class demon, it's below the notice of Chaos Demons as I am. However, me fighting this close to sealing away my powers may be hazardous. It would probably be better for us to let it go, as it seems to have ran away anyway."  

[Crimson-Valkyrie]

Gray's broken arm flinched as he could feel the warmth of the healing light wrap itself around his skin. The pain that had sent him into a deep sleep, faded away, causing him to slowly open his eyes half way. He noticed a familiar blur.

The man grinned slightly feeling a bit relieved. He raised his one hand slowly to the girls face, the grin still over his lips. "I knew you'd come..." Gray said in a light whisper only for those around him to hear. He pulled his hand away before he could even get it near Rie's face.  

[Demon_Lord_Kaguya]

Rie was taken aback. "Umm...thank you?" She said to the man. She didn't know that the man was keen to that sort of thing. "You shouldn't be talking. You're wounds are still savere." She said and closed up more of his wounds.  

[Sebastian Kierrn]

Sebastian's eyes glowed lightly, he transfered some of his energy to Rie to help speed up the healing process. He wasn't facing towards either Rie nor Gray, so he doubted either of them would notice. His eyes scanned the forest, looking for any oncoming attackers.  

[Crimson-Valkyrie]

Gray took in a deep breath and slowly let it out. He was glad to be getting the healing he needed. "that...wasn't a compliment." Gray managed to spit out with a grin. "I just knew you would come...call it a six sense." He turned his head to the side and pulled his small dagger out of his side pocket slowly with stealth. He had planned to use it on Rie, but ended up piercing it through the rat that had crept up beside Rie.
