Henrietta may have wanted nobody to pass her, but, Luka couldn't see her or the woman she was facing. He was too far to the right of them to be visible to them and so he passed by them with no knowledge that now his safety was most definitely compromised. The earlier grunts might have been part of the main cast, but, they were just there to slow people down. The closer they got to the skull, the more dangerous the situation was going to be. But, Luka didn't know that. He couldn't have, without seeing Henrietta and the nameless female grunt.
Luka forced himself to run a bit quicker. He had to save that skull.

"Time to go," Albert said with a grin as he rode into battle. Blitzle underneath him, Krookodile advancing from one side and Trubbish coming from the other. They would leap over a fallen log, landing to block Luka's path.
Albert grinned, "not going anywhere, kid."

The man appeared in front of him. Large and brutish. Something about him seemed familiar. But Luka couldn't quite place it.
Three Pokémon. A Blitzle, a Krookodile and a Trubbish. Two of those he could deal with. He released his three Pokémon. Kai, Squirt and Tayla. The three saw the enemies and lined themselves up with their respective target, not physically in straight lines, but were facing them and ready to attack. Kai would attack the Trubbish, Squirt the Krookodile and Tayla the Blitzle. If they could knock out one then the others could start to assist each other.
"That's what you think." A violent calm had descended over Luka. This b*****d didn't have the skull, but, by Arceus, he was going to be on the receiving end of Luka's fury. Luka nodded to his Pokémon to attack.
Kai started with a rolling Flame Charge. They couldn't risk the forest. One national treasure being stolen was one thing, but losing the forest too would be too much. So, Kai started the Flame Charge, locked it within his rolling charge and then would unleash it upon the Trubbish.
Squirt followed Kai's path with an Aqua Jet, before bouncing over the top of him and charging towards the Krookodile.
Tayla was the only one without a type advantage. That was why she was dealing with the Blitzle. The others could remove their opponents with much less trouble. There were no ways of tackling Electric types. So, Tayla began with a Razor Leaf which was quickly followed up by her String Shot/Protect attack.

[Hmm?] Wukong tilted his head to the side and made a small o with his mouth. Wukong had copied his power up. [Interesting.] The Monferno grinned in a feral way. [This should be an interesting match.]
"A free hit, huh?" Salieri rubbed her chin. He sounded quite confident. The Battle Girl looked him over. Was there something different about him? She pushed the thought away. That was stupid, this guy is the same creepy chump as before. Sal traded glances with Wukong, who shrugged in unknowing. She turned back to Bill. "Are you for real?"

[Little universal change here, I had Set Tk's Age to 12 at the start of the RP, but for back story purposes im changing it to 13.]
The pretty pink Psyshock attack struck loud and hard, charring the the ground and the surrounding Trees. Takamaru being no where to be seen.
"Ne ne, i didn't see her sign anything?" the mocking voice of the 13 year old's floated from the back of Iron Hide, 5 Meters away from the Attacked spot. "In fact, the only thing i seen was you missing my last move that saved me."
'I doubt this guy will just let me walk on past. i probably could tunnel under ground with Iron Hide to Get ahed, but if i did that there wouldent be anything stopping him form jumping into one of the others fights, and there's nothing guaranteeing my escape. Hmmm' thoughts swiveled around the youths head as he attempted to come up with a quick plan on getting past the thug.
Then , Assuming the thug wouldn't attack again seeing as how Takamaru made no move ahead, the youth would come to sudden realization by pounding his fist in to his hand in a Gavel striking way. "Got it, ill just beat you then go on ahead. So please, go down quick, i have a partner to Rescue." he said, with a small inclination of his head to impose his mocking youthful sincerity.
"Iron Hide, Use.." he covered his ears with his palms, "METAL SOUND!" and with that Iron Hide Opened his maw and let loose a horrible Screeching sound. Tk did this in an Attempt to (A) Either disrupt the 'Hologram and Data' like body that was Porygon 2 or (B) Create an opening in which to Strike with a more forcful move. Either way the attack would most likely through off Boaz's and, if he had ear's, Nulls Sense of Depth perception.

((Okay, before I post I'm just gonna point out something about that soul thing. Samurai, followers of Bushido, treated their blades as an extension of themselves, as a part of their spirit and soul. Like a physical representation.
In feudal Japan, the social hierarchy wasn't dependent on how much money you had, just how you were born. So a samurai was of a higher class than any of the peasants, even if he was begging on the streets, just through virtue of being a samurai.
Because they were often literally dirt-poor, you'd find Samurai selling the metal of their katana for money to buy food. If they didn't want to be completely bladeless, they might use bamboo or another form of wood to replace the missing metal.
The loss of metal was often mocked, as a man with a bamboo soul was seen as pathetic. It was used as a plot point in the film Harakiri, actually, where a samurai is forced to go through with his threat of committing seppuku in a lord's manor (he approached in the hopes that they'd pay him to go away) using the shitty, dull bamboo of his sword instead of sharp metal to cut his stomach open. Needless to say, "s**t soul" jokes were thrown about.
So the talk about Henrietta's 'soul' being her training weapon is actually kinda insulting and in no way anything to be proud about or desired. But whatever, I guess she wouldn't know that.
And now to post.))
Luckily Hitmonlee's back leg was adequately compressed, allowing him to launch upward as his foot hit Scraggy. Originally the plan had been to rise overhead and crush Scraggy to death with an Earthquake, still on the cards, but now postponed.
Still, he shot skyward, utilising Vacuum Wave along with his high speed movement, creating powerful air pressure that would act as a kind of barrier to slow Scraggy's movements. Unless he was invincible, then he'd take damage from the attack at this range as well.
Assuming Hitmonlee's kicks acted in a start/stop manner was Scraggy's mistake, now he was waiting for the attack to end while fighting through harsh pressure and a high speed he wasn't likely used to. Furthermore, Hitmonlee was turning, his leg swinging to give Scraggy even more trouble in trying to connect his Counter.
Hitmonlee'd spin in the sky above the forest, his jumping leg snapping back. Scraggy, assuming he hadn't abandoned his attack and fled like a girl, would be swung around and, as Hitmonlee completed his Rolling Kick, he'd be aimed towards the forest floor, the kick finally stopping; the jolt being somewhat similar to getting launched through a windshield in a car crash.
As Scraggy had to hold up their elastic, defensive skin with at least one arm, the mechanics of him doing that, grabbing and launching a counter attack were already in question given his lack of appendages. It would be fair to say that whatever grip he had managed was tenuous at best. Or in other words, it was unlikely that he'd be able to stop being kicked into the ground from a high height. If he let go sooner, Scraggy would be flung far across the forest and out of the battle zone.
Assuming that a damp forest floor would prevent serious harm at this height and velocity was naive. If Hitmonlee's attack went through, the battle wouldn't just be over, it'd be super-over. Like, the ultimate over, where nothing can ever happen again for a few minutes.
Meanwhile, Wayne had a fist-knocking-into-palm idea. "I know!" He took out another pokéball, calling upon-- "Petilil, use Sleep Powder on the trainer." He pointed over at Leonarda.
Petilil looked at him urgently then nodded, turning around to the unguarded grunt, sending a small seed through the air from her shoots. When it reached the area above Leonarda's head, the seed burst and anesthetic powder showered from the sky.
--
She closed her eyes. "No."
It seemed hurtful for her to say it, but the deed was done. Henrietta was going to die. She looked ahead, "My name is Alyse. I'm a former soldier of the World Government. And now I belong to Plasma."
She took a step forward, swiping her sword to the side. The swing was aura-charged, its arc cleaving through all the trees to Alyse's side, toppling them like a house of cards for dozens of feet.
"I'm not a fan of fighting with kids," she snapped the sword into both hands at her front, now stalking towards the pathetic girl, "but I'll get over it."
In a burst of blinding speed, Alyse was upon Henrietta. Unless she suddenly developed reflexes on par with an aura-trained individual, the girl would feel the force of the Arc Wave attack striking horizontally across her midsection, Alyse standing outside of her sword range. If it hit, Henrietta's flesh would be sliced open and she'd be sent flying back across the forest trail.
--
"Ne ne? What is that, some kind of code? You're not gay are you? Kids these days..." Boaz said, tapping into his smartphone, only watching the situation mildly. He put some earphones in, nice inner-ear marshmallow ones, starting up his battle soundtrack. Lucky too, as it managed to dull Iron Hide's Metal Sound to the point of uselessness.
Null on the other hand, took the Metal Sound, suffering the special attack drop. By this point, he wasn't actually a hologram, that was just the way he formed when being called into battle. He lived inside Boaz' phone.
But as Iron Hide was attacking, Boaz was inputting commands on his Battle App, which transmitted out to Null. The Porygon2 was using Lock-On on Iron Hide, as commanded by its owner.
If allowed to lock on, Boaz would tap some more and command a Zap Cannon. Null would spark quickly, then unleash an incredible blast of electricity that'd fry the bulky pokémon and anything touching its hide.

And then there was Robby Tobb. He had started "running" at some point, and by this point was entering the forest at... well, some point, but his Robby senses had taken him some bit of a distance away from the action and epictude of the battles from Plasma and the others. So the obese lad would make his way through the forest, almost as if at random, as opposed to the others who were going after Plasma properly... Who knew, maybe he'd get lucky somehow?

Krookodile took his place in front of the flame charge, his foot slamming into the ground. Rolling, Kai would have, literally and absolutely, no method of knowing the visual sights before him. Simply that a target was in his path. With a smash into the ground, rocks would fly up, crafted as rudimentary into the form of sharpened stones. These would explode from the ground, aiming to tear through Kai in the form of Stone Edge.
Blitzle, meanwhile, dodged the razor leaf with the quick motion of Quick Attack, catching Squirt in the air before he could descend and make to attack Krookodile. Caught in the middle and in the air, Blitzle would then release Thunder Wave to quickly, and effectively, deal with Squirt.
Finally, Tayla was left to try her string shot protect. Instead, she would be bombarded with a Sludge Bomb, the attack utilizing momentum to overcome Tayla's weight and then force her to fly backwards, despite her Protect, aiming to slam her into a tree.
Albert, meanwhile, charged for Luka, aiming to slam a steel clad fist into his face.
***
The distance finally closed, Watchog would make to bring his large teeth across Wukong in the form of Super Fang. He'd pass by as he did it, or aim to, aiming to drag them across the Pokemon's right shoulder, the length of them would, if it hit, tear through the flesh and open and make the arm useless.
Bill, meanwhile, nodded. "Hurry up, girl, I don't got all day."
***
All of this would be nice if Scraggy, for one, only had two useful appendages. His tail held up his elastic 'pants', dampening the blow. Scraggy only needed to bring his fist down, which he would do, slamming it into Hitmonlee's foot as no other dodge was given, only circumstances.
Hitmonlee spun his foot, likely broken and shattered, alongside his leg and Scraggy would - having utilized his focus and control to remain attached despite everything else - be smashed into the floor below.
Leonarda would begin to run as the seed came cross. It would explode at its intended spot, but Leonarda would have escaped the range by then, avoiding simply being put to sleep.
Scraggy was down for the count and he'd quickly be enveloped in a ray of red light and recalled. Leonarda had been shaken by this, she hadn't wanted her Pokemon so badly injured. Now she'd have to utilize another.
Throwing another ball, she'd release Deerling from his ball.
The deer Pokemon would emerge in a flash, standing stoic or something before Leonarda.
***
Henrietta noted, first and foremost, that the trees had been cut down by Alyse simply waving her sword at them. She tensed, focused. Then came the next movement, in a split second Alyse was upon her. The horizontal arced blade swung and Henrietta took a step backward. Even so, she was both outside of the range to be struck with the sword, and too slow to dodge the aura of it.
With a cry she'd feel her feet leave the ground and her body hurled. She'd taste blood as her lips were split open and she would be too busy to note her shinai split down the center. Not broken, but the cut was there, saving the rest of her torso from being frayed. Her vision blurred scarlet as she was sent.
Frate, meanwhile, acted as the woman swung, aiming to smash into her side with a series of rocks from Rock Blast.

Avan continued to run after Plasma, bobbing and weaving through the Pinwheel Forest. By now he had lost sight of anyone else after taking the precaution of avoiding the main road and avoiding the current battles. He wondered if everyone had managed to avoid trouble; and so far he had...for the most part. His trouble was now, that he was slightly lost. Just don't turn anymore, keep heading straight. He told himself. He figured that eventually he'd reach some sort of path.

[5 or 6 minutes ago...(RP Time)]
[-Artemis?] D-Vee gapped. He stared up at the woman - she hardly looked like she'd aged in the past 5 years, so he wasn't sure whether the girl was real or not. [Y-you're alive?!]
Eunmi glanced over and noticed D-Vee was talking to someone and looked up to see a tall, slender woman. Abandoning her discussion with Kijin and Henrietta since she had been promptly dismissed and ignored, she headed towards the mysterious person.
Artemis opened her mouth to reply, but suddenly the doors to the museum burst open. Her eyes tore away from the Pokemon and shifted to the commotion. Eunmi, as well, stopped short just a few feet from her Smeargle.
"What's going on-" Eunmi asked before the Dream Mist hit her. Willpower, or whatever kept anyone else awake during the ordeal, was something that required concentration and the decision to maintain it. Eunmi, D-Vee, and Artemis were too distracted to fight it. Eunmi was the first to collapse - luckily Artemis took a swift step forward to catch her. It was the moment the teenager fell into her arms that she realized she didn't have the strength to hold her up when she collapsed as well. D-Vee fell seconds later at their feet.

[Yo, sucka, this s**t is on!] announced K-Rok as he appeared before the running Avan. Chuck was some distance behind, arms crossed.
K-Rok gave Avan no time to pull out a Pokemon, breaking into Snarl-rap.
[b***h as kid all up in my path actin' like your hard but you can't handle my wrath!]
The dark energy exploded forth, merely hearing it would do wonderfully terrible things to Avan.

[Artemis - Dream Mist] The flash had been immense, but nothing compared to the force. The blaze of the explosion would have completely destroyed her body had it not been for a wave of air pressure that had weakened its strength. Her body flung down, hard, into the ground. The impact had created a large crater at which she laid in the center. Deafened by the sound and barely able to see, her only thoughts were of her companion. That he had managed to avoid the explosion or at least not perish in it. The only thing she could see was the outer ring of the crater and a yellowish sky, until suddenly a blurred and hazy figure appeared at the top. Too large of a figure to be her companion, she knew it to be the person that had created the explosion. She made a vain attempt to move, weakly straining her body against the pain. It was too much. Moments later, she passed out. Jolting forward, Artemis awoke with a start, shouting, "Deev!" A woman in a uniform pressed her palm on Artemis' shoulder with enough pressure that, against the pain Artemis was in, forced her back into a lying position. "Please don't move," the woman said. Artemis seemed to recognize the voice and obeyed the command, but only because she couldn't find the energy to move again. "W-where… is… D-Vee…?" she wheezed. Her voice was almost inaudible. Her eyes were watering, mostly because they stung and were red, but also because she was fearing the worst. "My smeargle… where is he…?" "Don't talk," the woman said, pressing a mask to Artemis' face. "Just try to relax, alright?" "…P-lease…" was all the woman could manage before passing out again. She wouldn't awake for months. [D-Vee - Dream Mist] D-Vee slowly opened his eyes, and he felt a tight but soft material encasing him, preventing him from moving. At first, he panicked, squirming and wriggling to get free, but then felt a shooting pain coming from his arm and leg. "Woah, calm down, little guy," a voice said in a thick accent. D-Vee managed to poke his face out from the bundle of blankets he was wrapped in. "We've got you, just hold on. We're almost at the Center," the man said again. D-Vee stared up at a pleasant looking asian couple. He noticed the blankets that surrounded him were stained with red on the side that hurt to move. He closed his eyes, wincing from the sight, hoping that his limbs were still in tact. He tried to go back to sleep, but each bumpy step made him acknowledge the throbs of pain in his arm and leg. The man hadn't lied, though, and he was hurried into the ER just after entering the Pokemon Center. After the nurse looked him over, it was clear his arm and leg were still connected to his body and he heard her say the words 'fracture' and 'broken' before he was put under. Awaking a while later, D-Vee found himself in a cast, laying in the hospital incubator. It was a special device that pulsated a type of energy that aided in the healing process, and he was grateful for it. Although his arm and leg were still not completely healed, he felt a lot better. "Do you have any idea what happened to its trainer?" "No, we found him just outside of Nuvema," the asian woman said. "We didn't know he had a trainer." "It's possible he's an abandoned pokemon - a trainer wouldn't just leave their pokemon out to die like that," the nurse agreed. "But we'll have to put a notice up for him." "We can still take him home, though, right?" the man said. "I'd feel awful if he was left alone here." "Once he's recovered and is able to move around, I have no problem releasing him to you," the woman said. "Just keep in mind, we will have to contact you if the trainer turns up." "Of course," the woman said. D-Vee laid still, looking up at the ceiling. He wasn't abandoned, was he? [Eunmi - Dream Mist] "What is it?" the twelve year old korean girl asked. "I've never heard of this Pokemon before." "You've never heard of most Pokemon before," Eunmi's father chuckled. "It's called a Smeargle." "Really?" Eunmi asked, staring at D-Vee intently. He looked uncomfortable, but he was fully recovered from before. "He has a paint brush as a tail! How funny!" "We thought you'd like that," Eunmi's mother nodded. "Anyway, we're not sure we can keep him…" "-but he's just the type of pokemon that could get you interested in being a trainer," Eunmi's father nodded. "Or even a Seseummu…" Eunmi grumbled. "I told you already a thousand times, no."
"Alright alright," Eunmi's father said, despite the annoyed look her mother gave. "Just enjoy that we have a new member of the family, okay? We have to go, anyway."
"Your grandmother will be here soon," her mother said, kissing her lightly on the cheek. "Behave yourself."
"Mom, I don't need a baby sitter…!" Eunmi complained. "I'm twelve! Kids my age already left to go on their Pokemon journey…"
"But you didn't," her mother retorted. "And it's not every day your grandmother visits anyway."
The two left Eunmi alone in her room, and a confused D-Vee stared at her.
"Smear…?"
"Can you only say your name?" Eunmi asked.
"Smeargle smeargle smear," D-Vee replied.
"I thought people were joking about that," Eunmi said, raising her hands to pet him. He wagged his tail until she suddenly tugged on his head. "Is that a hat or is it connected to your body…?"
D-Vee winced and placed his paws on his head.
"Do you understand me?" Eunmi asked.
D-Vee nodded.
Eunmi asked in korean.
"Smeargle smear…?" D-Vee cocked his head to the side.
"…no one ever understands Korean…" Eunmi mumbled.
"Sung Eunmi!" a shout came from the living room. Apparently her parents had left already. The shift of expression on Eunmi's face was to one of terror. D-Vee noticed how scared the girl suddenly looked.
"C-coming!" she shouted, standing up and making sure her clothes were free of wrinkles.
the shout came again.
Eunmi quickly scrambled out of her bedroom, leaving the Smeargle alone in the room.
[D-Vee - Dream Mist]
Once Eunmi had left the Smeargle alone in her room, he sat back thoughtfully. He didn't understand the strange people he had suddenly ended up with. They spoke in a funny tongue that he didn't know humans could speak in. While it was intriguing, he thought of it primarily as a distraction.
"I need to find Artemis. I need to know what happened." He looked to the open window of the child's bedroom. Was it really that easy? Should he stay? The nurse had posted his status as a lost Pokemon on the Unova PC server. Artemis was well accustomed to things like that, but at the same time…
"I have no idea if she's alive."
He made up his mind, quickly scrambling towards the window. He pushed it open further and made his escape.
Past route one, across a small river. That was where the battle took place. On a small island that seemed uninhabited. D-Vee managed to swim the distance, aided by a Surf Aqua Jet combo. He found himself in the aftermath of the battle, finding a large, burnt crater. No body, but also no trace of anything else. He explored he whole island. It was small, but it still took a lot of time. By the time he finished, it was almost dawn, and he was beginning to lose hope. His only lead to Artemis was with Eunmi and her family.
He crawled back through the window quietly and looked around the room. It was as pristine as it had been when he'd left, and no sleeping Eunmi was insight. He stood in silence for a moment, thinking how peculiar that was when his thoughts were interrupted by a muffled shout. There was a crash, and then shouting in some language. Another cry was heard, this time not muffled at all. Something was making loud thumps as it approached the door.
[Eunmi - Dream Mist]
Eunmi crashed into the room, quickly turning around to close the door. She shouted something in korean. Her back was exposed, her shirt torn, revealing marks that were growing a darker red that seeped into the fabric that draped over her back.
She locked the door and quickly rushed around her room, grabbing her chair and shoving it under the door handle to ensure it wouldn't open. Pounding at the door started almost immediately after, the door handle jostling angrily as shouts were spat, the only thing D-Vee would comprehend were the shouts of the child's name. He stared at her as she slide against the wall next to the door, almost weeping, but no tears fell from her face. After a while, she looked up, feeling herself being watched, and stared blankly at the Smeargle.
"Y-you're back…!" she said in surprise. For a moment, she forgot everything else. She rubbed her eye, double checking to make sure she wasn't seeing things.
She swiftly stood up, and shouted at the door.
The pounding at the door stopped.
the old woman's voice said harshly. Eunmi glanced back at D-Vee, who looked absolutely horrified. He had no idea what was going on - no one was speaking any english. He rose his paw as Eunmi unlocked the door, as if to say 'Don't!' but it was too late. A moment later the door burst open, and D-Vee was greeted with the unpleasant face of Grandmother Sung for the first time. She lashed out, quickly grabbing Eunmi's arm and dragging her away from the door way and tossing her onto the bed. She glimpsed at D-Vee for barely half a second before turning her attention to Eunmi.
she spat.
Eunmi shouted back.
Grandmother Sung shouted and pointed at D-Vee.
The woman rose her hand to smack the twelve year old, but was stopped by an interference. D-Vee stood over the korean girl, an arm outstretched to grab her wrist. Even though the Pokemon was smaller, he was stronger than the old woman. The two were silent for a moment, exchanging nervous glares, until Grandmother Sung withdrew her arm. She stepped back towards the door.
the woman said.
Eunmi was curled up, looking terrified over her shoulder at the woman until the door was closed. D-Vee sat down and helped her sit up after a while and then led her to the bathroom to help her wash up.
"I-I'm so sorry," Eunmi said as D-Vee placed a wash cloth on her back. She hugged her chest to her knees tightly, her cheeks flushed. It was evident that the other scars along the preteen's back were from similar encounters with that devil woman. "I don't even think you know what's going on."
"Smeargle smear," the pokemon replied. He understood that Eunmi's grandmother was psychotic.
"It's not what you're thinking," she mumbled. She didn't say much else as she curled her chin in and placed her forehead on her knees.
"I'm sorry you got involved. You didn't need to do that," Eunmi said.
[D-Vee - Dream Mist]
[I couldn't just stand there,] D-Vee said. He looked up at Eunmi. [You can't do everything on your own. You should tell your parents about your grandmother. Your parents seem really nice. They'd put a stop to this.]
"…things will be better when she goes back to Kanto," Eunmi said. "My parents will be back in a few days. We just need to lay low. Avoid getting in trouble."
[I'm not going to let her hurt you again,] D-Vee said, a determined look spreading across his face. [As long as I'm here, she's not going to lay another finger on you.]
Eunmi looked at the Smeargle and smiled, a forced smile. D-Vee recognized it - Artemis would do the same thing.
"…I don't know what you said, but thank you," she said softly. "Please don't tell anyone. I don't know if you can, but please don't. She's awful… but family is the only thing she has left."
D-Vee stared up at her, his brow furrowing. He couldn't accept that as a reason to forgive the child's grandmother, but he would respect the girl's request. After all, he recognized enough from when Eunmi's grandmother had pointed at him that he was part of the cause for all of this.
"Smeargle smear…" he said, nuzzling her arm. He would do the same to Artemis - 'be brave.'
Months would pass, and D-Vee would stay with Eunmi. No news ever came about his old trainer, and after a while, the post about him was taken off the PC server.
[Artemis - Dream Mist]
"Get off me," Artemis grumbled. She pushed away the nurse that was tending to her, helping her change into regular clothes.
"But miss-"
"I'm perfectly capable of changing on my own," she said.
"You've been in that bed for months, with very minimal physical therapy-"
"-Just get out," Artemis said. "I'm not changing with you in here."
"…p-please buzz for assistance if you require it," the nurse nodded and quickly left. The woman sighed and continued to put on her shirt, struggling with it for a while before managing to get it over her head and her arms through the sleeves. She was too proud to admit she probably would have saved a lot of time by letting the nurse help her.
* * * * *
"…Artemis, why do you keep declining the offer to be a PA inter-relations scout? That's a higher position than you were when you started, and you get to go out on the field still-"
Artemis sat in front of the computer with her aunt, a bored looking expression on her face.
"I don't want to be 'out on the field'," the woman sighed. "I'm taking over grandpa's position - you know he's too old to maintain it anymore."
"You don't even care about Pokemon Centers," Aunt Mimi said. "Why be the PA PCO rep? And since when do you not want to be out on the field? Is this because of the accident? You've had worse injuries before."
"It has nothing to do with that," Artemis groaned. "Stop bothering me. I'm working."
"Painting is not a job, Artemis. Not when you don't make any connections to try and do anything with your art."
"Aunt Mimi, I'm not a child," Artemis groaned. "Stop telling me what to do."
"You can't shut yourself in and hide from life, Artemis," the woman said. "Have you heard anything about D-Vee-"
The line went dead - Artemis closed the video call. She continued to stare at the blank screen, her brow furrowing slightly at the mention of D-Vee. It had only been a year since the incident, but she'd given up hope of finding him. D-Vee would have come back by now.

Artemis slowly opened her eyes. She sat upright and as she did, Eunmi shifted off of her and rolled onto the ground. The woman looked between the two, her eyes narrowing for a moment before she pushed herself upright.
"What was that?" The artist looked back to the museum and then around as people (specifically Zack and Elizabeth) started to get up as well.
"Artemis," Zack said, his arms around Elizabeth as she started rifling through her bag, "c'mon, I need your help."
"I'll stay here," Elizabeth said. Artemis looked away as they spoke, pulling her leg out from underneath Eunmi's, pausing for a moment as she stared at the cream colored Pokemon. She extended her arm, stopping her fingers just before touching him.
"Deev." Artemis' expression softened as her fingers ran along his fur. She wasn't crazy - he really was there. She might have cried right then and there, but Zack had asked for her help.
"I'm sorry," she whispered as she stood up, forcing back her emotions. By the time she stood up straight, any choked up feelings she had were gone, replaced by her typically serious gaze.
"You're damn lucky I brought my Pokemon," Artemis said as she caught up with Zack.
Meanwhile, D-Vee stirred, lifting his head up. He looked across from him where Eunmi was starting to get up as well. He looked around.
"No. She was here. She was right here-!"
He twisted about, too quickly, but he ignored the throbbing in his head and focused around him. He saw a figure running off.
[Artemis!] he barked, causing Eunmi to flinch as he darted off. The korean girl looked puzzled and barely heard as Lenora began to explain what happened.
"D-Vee, come back!" she shouted, scrambling to her feet and chasing after him.

Yeah, a sudden Krokorok out of no where was enough to startle him. Avan wasn't exactly expecting an enemy to appear, he had a little hope he'd remain without battle, but knew an enemy when he saw one. He jumped back, surprised, his hand reaching down into his bag, and the other making a useless attempt to cover just one of his ears. They rang and everything started to get just the slightest bit woozy. "Go! Attack!" He called as he shoved a Pokeball out in front of him, having no idea what Pokemon he had called into battle.
And from it emerged a Yamask. Heeding the attack command, it was left up to her to choose her own attack. In doing so, wisps of purple fire, taking the shape of orbs, launched forth at the enemy. At the small distance between them, K-rok might have a hard time avoiding it.
