The man stopped and looked at the four of them. "Er, I'm a doctor, and you're bleeding to death." He pointed the needle at Luka's stomach. "We really don't have time to talk this out."

Luka shook his head. "Stay the ******** away from me. No Doctor would walk into a burning forest. Stay...." Luka passed out.
His Pokémon crowded around him, Kai trumpeting away, and Squirt and Tayla making whatever noises bugs and turtles make. But, this guy was too weird to be a Doctor and Luka had so vehemently opposed the thought of this guy taking him away. They couldn't disobey their master.

"Er," the guy pointed to Luka's stomach. "That's a lot of blood. He'll either die here, or I'll save him. You guys can pick which one, but you probably only have a few minutes before we pass the window of opportunity. Since I still have to take him back and all before we can do anything."

Luka's Pokémon looked in horror between the wound and the 'Doctor' guy. They looked at each other and nodded. Stepping aside to let the doctor get to Luka. They couldn't just watch him die. They couldn't let him die. He was too precious to them, even Tayla who he'd only owned for three days. This was their only chance of saving him and they had to take it.

The Doctor stepped over to Luka and injected him with the liquid from the syringe. "That'll preserve him for the moment," he reassured the creatures that surrounded them. Then, he hoisted Luka up, over his shoulder, released a Pokemon and was gone, via teleport, gone before the flash created by the pokeball ended.

The Pinwheel Forest was dying.
From the center, fire was beginning to spread among the trees, turning the leaves into ashes that floated like grey snow. Soon, the smoke would be high enough that the people in Nacrene would be able to see it. But for now, the ones who were in danger were the occupants of the forest.
In a twist of irony, the fights brought about by Team Plasma's actions were fueling the forest fire. The pokemon of the forest began to flee, running from the place they once called home. Now they would call it a graveyard.
As stampedes of wild creatures rushed to escape certain doom, a lone Venipede accidentally rolled over a trench and into a rock. Stunned for a moment, it looked up and attempted to move forward once more.
But it froze in place as it saw a burning tree begin to topple, falling closer and closer to the Venipede an threatening to crush the bug. Scared out of it's mind, the Venipede was too frightened to look death in the eye. The bug closed his eyes and waited for the end.
He opened them when the end didn't come.
The Venipede looked up. The burning tree was now in two halves, having been sliced in an unseen motion. Venipede looked behind itself at the other half, which became cinders.
The bug looked over past the trench it had fallen down and saw a majestic looking beast standing tall amongst the flames. It's green hue made it seem like it belonged in the forest, it's eyes intense intense and focused on the distance. It's four graceful legs were long and strong.
The beast looked over to Venipede, and then flicked it's head in the direction of the edge of the forest. The Venipede was too awed to move for a second, but then nodded back in gratitude at it's savior before rolling away.
The bug suddenly stopped and looked back. But it's savior was gone.
Virizion had important matters to attend to.

((Sorry to keep my adoring fans waiting. jk. But really, some major rl s**t has went down these last two or so days, so I hope it doesn't continue to interfere.))
[Nah, nah, check it.]
George's Uproar rap began..
[An overgrown lizard ain't havin' this s**t? Psh, thinks he's the master Ain't nuthin' but a b***h And bitches hatin' 'cause I'm comin' up faster. Say you'll give me a limp, s**t, I'll break all your bones and put you in plaster.]

Although Avan didn't really know what was going on, the rap battle sounding like nothing but poke-gibberish to him, he knew that some major s**t was going down.

The Rainy Day was keeping the fire at bay, but it was momentary, and if George was defeated here he wouldn't be able to bring any more rain. That said, Chuck looked around. The forest was blazing, smoke mingled with rain and stung his eyes.
"K-Rok," he began, his voice picking up so the Krokorok could hear, "we've got to do something."
[I know,] K-Rok said, even though Chuck couldn't understand him. His arms crossed. [Bitches, hos, go help evacuate the area.]
[Aight boss.]
And the Sandiles moved out, looking as if to be a shifting land with their movement, heading out of the rainy day and into the burning forest. K-Rok's eyes settled upon George.
He'd lost his beat, but that didn't matter.
"K-Rok!"
K-Rok gave him a thumbs up. [I'll finish this with the next one,] he said. Chuck stared a moment before taking off himself. There were Pokemon to save.
[Sorry but I can't play witcha no more,] he told George.
[Lemme break it down so your weak a** geddit Makin' all these threats while ya step up to the plate But all know ya bitches just talk tough Tired of weak s**t, so let me show you the gate Cause if you battle with me, shits gonna get rough And losin' this battles just a matter of fate.]

Things indeed were getting worse. Avan had stayed within the rains's parameters, but even he knew that the Rain Dance wouldn't last for much longer and continue to keep the fire at bay.
"C'mon George!"
George retorted.
[That s**t fate ain't got nothin' on me, Numba one 'comer and I fight destiny. All adversity I over come. Ain't gotta take this from no K-rok bum. Talkin' 'bout weak, my trainer still here, backin' me up. Your trainer, tail between legs, ran like a p-]
George wavered. They had been exchanging the attacks, not using them to drown one another out; and unfortunately, K-rok's threats became reality.
"s**t..." Avan mumbled when he saw the Tympole, he had to step in now. "Enough!" The boy ran to the water pokemon and knelt beside it, "You did great..." Then to K-rok, "I'm ending this! Now leave!" For a moment he paused, "You've won..."

[Dumbass, you're the one that needs to leave.] K-Rok gestured toward the incoming fire as the rain stopped. [This was over the moment yo boy picked up the mic.]
Because there were more important things to do than stopping a trainer with one Pokemon that he was immune to from going after someone with the skull, K-Rok left.

"Damn." Avan couldn't understand the enemy, but clearly saw the gesture toward the flames.
[THIS ISN'T OVER!] George called out with his last bit of strength to the Krokorok, before fainting.
"Rest now." Avan returned the Tympole to his ball. What to do? This was quite the predicament.
The rain soaked ground and perhaps even the rain soaked trees, would keep the fire at bay, not for long at all, but just long enough to not engulf them. There was only one way out the boy thought as he ran after the opponent. Not to continue fighting, but surely the way they took to leave, might be a plausible escape route. Avan had ran without knowing where he was going in the first place, so this hint of direction could be what he needed.

((Taking over the battles, let's get this done fast.))Leyla had dodged to the side. Seeing a mountain charging at you was something you couldn't really miss. Being the faster one, weight usage or not on Robby's end, allowed her to avoid him. She wasn't about to die or anything. Her Pokemon, meanwhile, clung to the tree as it made contact. The fire exploded above and, with a screech, it jumped away. Smoke billowed around it and it was gone a moment later. Only to appear behind Fried with a Shadow Sneak. *** Zamaku ((Quoting pings people's alerts, so this is an easy way to let you know ive posted Taka)) WHAM! Porygon2 was struck by the Water Pulse. He pulled up into the air as he recoiled from the move, only to find the Lairon being flung at him. With the hits he'd taken, he probably wouldn't last too long. That was the damn problem with sound moves, there wasn't too much of a resistance against them. So, doing the logical thing, Porygon2 unleashed a point blank Thunder. If he was gonna be done in by a Metal Claw, he was gonna take the other b*****d down with him.

The combusken was, frankly, shocked as the other pokemon vanished. He blinked as some odd presence came from behind him, and he felt the opponent before he saw it. And that was when his training kicked in. Double kick was delivered, ten kicks, and like most other combusken, he could deliver ten kicks with this move in about a second. The blows were delivered to juggle the spider, with the final two being a set up to an axe kick and an axe kick.
Tobb, meanwhile, turned his attention to the woman with a dramatic gaze. "Go away. I won't get my prize if I don' do this!" His arm swung out then, as he moved closer, to smack her in a b***h-slap sorta motion. "So go away!"

It had been the right assumption. Alyse gave no opportunity for Henrietta to say much else. The flames surrounded the woman but a section cut open, splitting apart as an arc wave of aura cut through. Henrietta, who had been in motion, barely avoided it as it cut into the tree she'd just passed.
Flames raged on, spreading out in a mix of orange and purple, coating the trees and obscuring everything in heat and smoke. It hurt to breath, to keep her eyes open. Stinging, tears built up and she squinted to look into the flames.
Then the armor clad woman lunged. Through the flames she came, sword swinging and Henrietta barley ducked under it. Then, bracing her arm with her shinai, she caught the boot that aimed to kick her. She was put at a distance from the woman as she came to her feet.
Then the blade came, cutting between shoulder and neck as it stabbed into the tree behind her. She felt her back against the bark and the sting that caused her to wince.
"I missed," the woman announced. Henrietta realized it then, the woman must've been effected by things. It hurt to keep her eyes open through the smoke and heat of the flames, the woman must be worse off, with the steel visor right near her eyes and the smoke moving through her helmet, to some extent kept in the enclosed little area.
The woman made to push down but Henrietta - with a burst of adrenaline - thrust the swinging arm up, blade and all. She made a run for it then, avoiding a swing with a small duck. She could feel the tug of the blade as it took some hair with it.
Then she was moving again. The knight dressed woman who was feeling Henrietta's location mostly through aura threw her sword then and lunged. It caught Henrietta across the side, grazing it as it stuck into her dress, pinning it to another tree.
Henrietta winced again and pulled. The way the blade had embedded itself meant that it wasn't a matter of pulling away and it'd cut out, it was vertically done, so she'd have a little more complication then that. Her head moved up, to see the woman leaping at her.
Then a shot rang through the air and the woman crashed into Henrietta. With a cry she was dragged to the floor with the weight of the woman, her arm raising upward to avoid being lopped off as she was pulled down, but she could feel the blades edge against her armpit.
Effectively pinned, she looked at Alyse who stared at her, blood trickling from her lips. Her eyes were wide, despite the smoke. Red because of it. Her lips twitched.
"Wha?"
Henrietta couldn't tell if it was her or the woman who had said it. Everything didn't seem real. It never did. This was the sort of things you saw in movies, not experienced. Her head rose as the woman's head collapsed against her and she could see the culprit now.
Clad head to toe in S.W.A.T. gear the figure approached, shotgun held professionally. A familiar voice spoke, "a shame that you would aid in the death of another person."
It was Amber.
***
WHAM! Leyla was smacked away by Robby's giant arm. She flew and hit the ground. She looked over to see her Ariados get kick smacked to the floor, being defeated nigh instantly.
Realizing she'd lost this, she recalled him and turned tail to run.

((Part two, wooo~))
Some time before....
His back hit the wall. Officer Malone looked up at the woman as he felt his eyelids weigh down like they were weighted. His mind felt heavy and he couldn't slow his breath to a normal pace.
"What did you do?" he asked.
Amber, who stood before him, sighed softly and then smiled. "That was the power of God. He granted it to me to punish the heathens," she said.
She stepped forward, "you resisted it well, though." She paused, knelt down before him and took his gun as he tried to draw it. His hands were too weak, and she felt too strong in his condition. She placed the gun to his jaw, pointed upward.
"No, I've just overused it today. Forgive me."
She pulled the trigger.
***
The woman crushing her was barely alive, or so it seemed. Her breath was short, her eyes hazy, closing with the sting of smoke weighing them down. Henrietta shifted herself, bringing her legs up as slowly, subtly as possible as the woman stood before her.
"I-i didn't," Henrietta protested.
"Your Pokemon killed. You're responsible for that devil. I'll overlook this death, make yours quick and painless if you tell me where he is." Amber's lips curled into a soft smile, her voice sweet, kind.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Henrietta said. Keep her talking.
"You don't? You don't know that thing as a murderer? Then.. You must also be corrupted by it." She aimed the gun at Henrietta, barrel at her face. Henrietta felt herself shaking now, fear.
"Please, wait. "Who killed who? Tell me what you're talking about?" Henrietta asked.
"You really are corrupted," the woman said, a hint of pity in her voice.
Then Henrietta acted. Her knees up, legs positioned, she pushed against Alyse. There was no other out, but she still felt back doing it. The woman was pushed up into the barrel of the gun, offsetting it. Henrietta took the brief window to move out from under her.
Then they were both turning. Toward each other, Henrietta swinging her shinai that she'd managed to hold with her hand that had been held upward before.
Shinai met shotgun, Henrietta still powered by adrenaline. The shotgun moved, pushed away as it went off, Henrietta just outside of the burst range for it. Amber kept turning, not missing a beat, and put a foot into Henrietta's stomach.
Henrietta stumbled back and regained her balance long enough to have a foot press down on her own, pinning it down. Amber was moving forward and Henrietta felt the side of something blunt strike her face and then she hit the ground.
Her head was ringing, and it hurt to think. She coughed as she tried to stand but her balance was lost, her strength with it. Vision blurred behind smoke caused tears and her throat hurt with each cough. She was out of it. She turned to look at Amber, but it was pretty much over.
***
The flames blazed. He felt them as his lips parted and he yelled. Silent. He couldn't hear it, just the roar of it as it licked his skin. His right eye was lost somewhere between the start and now, half of his face burned away. The vines were lost, his legs pulled on the holes as he struggled against everything.
More traps, he kept thinking, there were more traps. That didn't matter, he thought, as he pulled himself free and crawled. It was war again, suddenly. He was crawling with fire everywhere. But back then it had been bullets. Back then it had been flame thrower attacks, not a burning forest.
He reached out to Topper and clicked the pokeball, recalling his partner. Then he struggled to his feet and he started on. He body was damaged but he kept on through. Normal people fell to this type of s**t, but Bill was a man.
So he marched, avoiding flames and falling trunks, trying to find his way to safety.
***
"Hey!" Chuck was calling to Avan who had followed after. "We have to put out this fire!" he shouted. It was a fact, not a statement. "I called the police, but no one answered! So it's up to us! Forget whatever feud we have, let's get to work!"
***
"Come out or she dies!" shouted the woman. "You have ten seconds!"
[This is bad,] Frate said.
[Leave it,] Melty said.
They were both hidden in the bushes. Melty had told Frate not to advance.
[We can't just let her die!] Frate said.
[If you run out she'll shoot you, and you'll die.]
Frate was troubled. [I don't care,] he said finally, [I'm going in!]
Just then a figure moved passed them both. They looked up but they couldn't see him through the top of the bushes.
***
"Two!" Amber shouted and then she turned to be struck in the face.
Helmet flying off, all was revealed. Amber was falling backward and Bill stared at her.
"A woman!?" he shouted. Then his eyes went to work. He'd seen Henrietta, pinned onto the ground by a foot, but that was it. He thought he was hitting some corrupt police guy or something.
Then he spotted Alyse. She was bleeding pretty badly and wasn't moving.
"Hey, what's going on, kid?" he asked.
"I-i
Bill sighed suddenly, cutting her off. "******** I hate women." He didn't have time for her to stutter out a story. "She's the opponent, right? Leave it to me."
Henrietta was staring at the grossly disfigured man. "But she has a gun and you're woun-
She was cut off by the sound of a shot and her own body being pushed away. Bill was moving and Henrietta was cast aside, some force taking her out of the range of the spray of bullets.
Then Topper stood over her, turning toward Bill, ready to join the action when he was recalled.
Bill tossed his ball toward Henrietta as he struck again, Amber blocking it with the shot gun as a brace for her forearm. "Look after him!"
From there the battle was hard to follow. Henrietta watched but her vision was fractured by tears and when she wiped them, the two were lost in a flurry of smoke and flames and movement.
Then the gun went off again. Henrietta, who had tried to warn him about this very thing, watched as the man went down from the shot. Unlike Alyse, it was clear across his chest that he'd been shot. A wide hole gaped open and blood fell out. He hit the floor and Amber turned.
Henrietta was already moving, shinai swinging to strike Amber clear in the face. A crack sounded as her nose broke and Amber reeled back. Henrietta didn't let up. The only exposed area was the woman's head from where Bill had knocked her helmet off.
A series of strikes came and the woman stumbled back, arms rising to try and guard her head. Then she caught the shinai and gripped it as Henrietta tried to pull back.
A sharp tug and she was pulled forward, a boot to the stomach and she was disarmed as she was forced to release it. She scrambled to her feet, but she was too late. The shot gun was aiming.
And her vision went haywire again as the sound of the shot gun fired. Suddenly she was on the ground, but not where one would expect her to fall.
Above her was Bill, bleeding and looking like a horror movie reject. But he was alive. The hole in his chest, upon closer inspection, wasn't straight inside of him. It was bleeding, but some black material seemed to be in place of bone and muscle and all that fun stuff.
