Lady Who Called: "And she didn't have the right to barge into the room like that. Am I right? People are allowed to have friends over and have a sense of privacy, right?" Me: "Yes, residents are allowed to have visitors. However, I do not know the circumstances on why they had entered the room." Lady: "Not they, her!" Me: rolleyes "Regardless, I don't know the specifics on why they would have done it." Lady: "Not they! It was a her!" Me: stare "You're missing the point..."

Sorry, I can't help but keep thinking about the bits of conversation I did actually listen and process from that conversation.
Or like her asking what "certificate" I had for doing my job. "What do you have? Like a high school diploma? Associates in Typing? Degree in something else? Tell, what do you have? Did you hear me?" Me: talk2hand "I have a Bachelors in English." It brought me a bit of joy when she sort of stuttered to a halt after that. Like, b*tch, don't you dare insult me with such low degree talk. Nothing against those who only have their high school diploma (or GED) or Associates. Just in this situation, I wanted to fight back (in a sense) to all the negativity she was forcing me to hear.
I know at least two cosplays I'll be taking to ECCC. My Blackbeard cosplay for Saturday when I'm doing all of my OFMD stuff. And then bringing my Good Omens Crowley as well; probably will wear it on Friday since that's the day David Tennant is scheduled to attend.
Ugh, why is everyone acting like I'm their soundboard for all of their complaints? I'm not sitting here at the Front Desk to listen to your problems, especially ones I have no control over.
