The War for Estra ((Open/Acc))

Chron blocked Orcus's halberd attack but then got slashed by his mana when he pretended to try and attack him with his hand. Looking down at the cut part of his robes he figured it was time to just use the Force and stick to medium range combat. He got back then generated a Force energy ball in both hands then shot them at Orcus hoping they would hit their mark.

Resa drew her kris from her sash with a swishing noise, making an inconspicuous gesture with her fingers behind her back to the Urel. Slowly, they backed away, melting into the forest with pre-prepared cloaking spells every one carried, as well as altering the flow of mana around their forms to confuse any one who happened to have contact with the land's magic. "Of course. I didn't think that you'd just want to say hi."

Reign turned his attention back to the treeline outside of the fort, catching movement out of the corner of his eye. With the distraction of the person inside of the compound, and the ones outside of the walls, a sizable group emerged from the forest, the archers that had been watching them not paying attention. "Hey!" He called down, aiming carefully at one of the Urel with his gun. "They're coming!"

Bariel's half elven ears caught the sound of crashing and Reign's yell from above. Even though he knew that the coming battle would most likely kill the very men he had been talking to the past few minutes, a brief wave of excitement came over the king. "To arms!" He drew his sword and waved it in the air, the weight settling easily like it had years ago. "We fight against the Urel prepared! They'll never get this fort, for the Kingdom!  

[Orcus Fieres]

The mana this man used was odd. It his the plate armour on his left shoulder, dislodging it from its leather straps which Orcus immediately pulled off, and his stomach, making him lose his air momentarily and knocking him back a ways. His mail and cloth absorbed most of the damage that would have otherwise knocked him out. "You are obviously not of this world." Orcus grunted angrily. "I'll take you from it and hopefully send you somewhere that doesn't disturb me or the king as much!" He yelled and hacked at the man with his halberd again. Orucs then punched with mana in a false palm attack once again.

Chron noticing that Orcus was coming at him with the same attack pattern as before. So he drew back to avoid the halberd and he Orcus did his mana punch technique Chron used Force Repulse which was like a all around and more powerful Force Push. The Force attack negated the mana attack and was on its way to hitting Orcus which would cause the same effect as last time if he did not get out of the way.

Reis did not give the woman another second to react, when he was sure that the Urel had moved on. He threw his earth-powered right arm outward in a quick but powerful jab. By his estimate, the impact would have roughly the same force as a ten foot long, three foot wide tree trunk slamming into Resa's slender form.

Throwing her left arm up as she twisted her body to sidestep the attack, Resa felt the feeling in it disappear, though just a glancing blow had made it past her quick dodge. If the bone had cracked or fractured, she couldn't know. She turned with the momentum it gave her, sweeping diagonally downward at Reis.

Der Reisende threw his free arm up to catch Resa's blow, and felt his feet sink an inch or so into the ground. He tried to take advantage of the physical shock of stopping her attack, and drew back his arm for a strong left hook.

Resa briefly let go of her sword as it came into contact with the arm, catching it as it began to fall and flicking it upwards to flash before Reis's eyes, the bright metal blur intended to be a distraction. As she did that, she drew her leg up and kicked out at the man's kneecap.  

[Orcus Fieres]

Orcus took the attack head on and flew back, behind the rubble of what used to be a wall. He got up from the heavy attack, he was breathing heavy. The links in his mail had been broken and so was torn apart. His cloth armour was more apparent now as it showed between the pieces of his mail that were left over.

Orcus raised his halberd and jumped up and over the rubble, back into battle. He held his weapon from far down on the shaft now. The blade began glowing brighter than before and the guard piece just under the blade began to heat up to the point that it gave off a red-hot glow itself. Orcus lunged himself and his weapon at the enemy. He then retracted and went for it again. His movements began to speed up as he used his halberd as a lance. He shifted position and angle of the stab frequently but kept it targeted at the enemy.

Reis gave a yelp as the bones in his leg gave way. He fell to one knee, took a bit of Estra's power into his body, and healed himself quickly. He stood up again, the knee sore but whole again. Clearly, brute strength was not the right ally to call upon for this battle. He allowed the stone and the earthy mana to drop from his arms, and instead charged himself with elemental fire. Perhaps now fear of getting burned might blunt Resa's attacks. He spun on his heel, and performed a series of quick, circular kicks in Resa's direction at about shoulder level.

Chron had to quickly dodge every strike Orcus threw with his halberd noticing that his attacks got more faster and more unpredictable. Even though Chron did not like to use this Force power that much he decided to use Force Combustion which was the power to willfully make an object or person explode. He decided to com bust Orcus's armor in order to get rid of the armor and to potentially wound him. So he backed away quite a distance then focused and the combustion happened and hopefully shattered Orcus's armor and wounded him.

Resa jerked backwards away from the attack, the faint smell of singed hair hanging in the air. She dodged around them as best she could, not using her sword for the reason that it might be kicked aside. A crackling blow managed to get past her slow defense, smacking into her shoulder hard. With one hand, she reached up and grabbed the foot, turning to the side as she yanked backwards.

Orcus stuck his halberd into the ground at the end of his last strike before the man shot back. He noticed a tingling from the metal plate and mail he was wearing. It seemed as though it was vibrating to the point of causing great heat. He then noticed what the man was trying to do and laugh. "Ha! I am no stranger to magic and enchantments aren't rare in these parts, ya' know? Nothing can wreck my armour from the inside. Try something more direct next time." Orcus plucked his halberd from the ground and launched it at the man, spear tip point ready to make contact with flesh.

Reis had not expected her to grab onto him, due to the flames that danced around his body. He tucked his free leg in close, and shifted his weight to turn in midair. He poised to kick out hard, and did so when he was in close enough range to Resa's jaw.

Chron used Force sprint to dodge the incoming halberd but it managed to nick him on the arm. Looking at his wound he thought, 'The magic people are something, they are not not Jedi or Sith but he is fighting on level ground with me.' Realizing that it might confuse Orcus and give an opening in his defense Chron decided to use Force Projection. He focus then through the Force there was not one but two then three Chron Maru's standing ready to face Orcus. Two of him started moving in on Orcus from the sides while the other in moved in on Orcus from the front.
