Walking into the tea shop, Theodin wandered over to a booth in the corner and sat down. When someone came by to take his order, he ordered a pot of green tea and a large bowl of miso ramen. When it all arrived, he poured himself a cup of tea, adding a bit of honey to sweeten the taste a little, and sat, sipping it slowly as he waited for his ramen to cool a bit. Waiting, his mind wandered to what had happened back at the academy, "What were you thinking, Theodin?" he muttered to himself, probably looking totally insane to anyone else in the shop. "That combination was way over the top, it would've cut her to ribbons while filling her body with lightning rods and electrocuting her....You have to get better about keeping your control." Feeling hungry and getting tired of waiting for his ramen to cool naturally, Theo focuses a tiny amount of hyouton chakra into his mouth and breathed on the bowl to cool it off just enough to not scald his mouth. He then quickly gulped down the ramen before going back to sipping his tea. Talking quietly to himself again, he continued, "You've been on this nonstop quest for power since you were a genin, maybe you've gone too far....." Taking another few sips of tea, he kept going, "But why'd mom have to jump all over me about it, saying I'm just like dad...from what I can tell she doesn't mind dad going overboard a little, or herself for that matter....I know she could easily tell that I was down about it, even if she didn't hear me apologize to Kaori immediately." He finished his first cup and prepared another, "I hope she doesn't think I'm trying to go against anything she says, wonder if she'll even consider letting me join ANBU now...." After that last bit, Theodin just sat there quietly, slowly sipping his tea.

"You do realize that talking to yourself is a sign of insanity?" She said looking at him as Daichi curled up at the side of the booth.

Ayame smiled and sighed, "I am sorry about being harsh earlier. I am more so wolf now than I am human." She said looking at her hands and the claws that she had developed as Daichi's tamer. "But what I said is still true. We as Suna shinobi don't really know how to pull our punches. I have lost control at times. Your father has it worse, so you get it honest." She took a sip of her tea and looked at her son. He was definitely James made over, but the eyes, hair and many of his mannerisms, as she had said many times before, were all her. "Theo, I think you are an amazing shinobi. Calm down though son, never let your enemy see your spirit. San always told me that because I let my emotions get in the way when I was a genin. The hardest part for me back then was sitting still and acting in a manner that I should." Ayame thanked the waitress when she came by and refilled her cup. Then took a deep breath, "Let me tell you something. When I was fifteen Daichi and I went for a walk in the forest. Back then I didn't really like him much because he was such a runt." Daichi huffed out a breath at her statement and she smiled, "Because of my attitude back then I attracted the attention of three wolves, come to find out they were Daichi's own brothers. They were much larger than him but he fought them off. I ran crying to my aunt Yuki with Daichi in my arms and she said I needed to fix it, because it was my mistake. I nursed him back health, but you see what happened to him." Daichi sat up and nuzzled Ayame, "No he doesn't blame me for it but I still lost control and it cost Daichi a lot. He can only see shadows in one of his eyes and well anyone can see the hole in his lip." Daichi smiled and blew some air out the hole making it whistle. Ayame sighed and looked at Theodin, "I'm sorry, yes losing control sometimes can save your life, but what I want you to take away from that story is that you aren't always the one that is hurt when you lose control. I was hurt as a mother because it hurts you to lose control. You fear it. I was hurt as Kazekage because Kaori is part of the Suna ranks." Ayame rubbed a hand over her face and pushed some of her hair out of it taking another sip of her tea. "Do you get what I mean hun or am I just babbling like I tend to do sometimes?"

As Ayame finished her story, as asked if he understood her, he smiled slightly, "Yeah mom, I think I get what you mean, though parts of it are kind of just babbling," he chuckled a little, then went back to being serious, "I just don't know what I would've done if Kaori hadn't managed to substitute out of that whirlwind of jutsu I threw at her....giving up total control against an enemy is one thing,but another suna-nin...." he kind of trailed off after that, not knowing what else to say

Looking back at his mom, getting a bit of a laugh out of her fighting with her hair, he smiled, "Thanks mom, I'll do the best I can to keep everything under control. And you can cut it if you want I guess, just don't tell Dad I said that, something tells me he wouldn't be too thrilled if you cut it." he sat there chuckling for a minute.

Theodin walked into the tea shop, having just left there not long ago, since it was the only place he know of that sold ramen. As Kaori and Nova followed him in, Theodin walked up to the counter and ordered the ramen to go, telling the cook they were in a hurry and it was for the kage. After a couple minutes, he was handed the hot bowl. Turning back to his teammates, he said "Ok, we got the ramen, let's head on back to the academy..." He then walked back towards the door to return to the academy (EXIT)

Nova followed behind Theodin and looked up at Kaori when Theodin grabbed the Ramen, and then told them to go back to the academy. Koari shrugged again, what else were they to do? They followed Theodin once more.

Just as the team began to handle the bowl of ramen, the boiwl itself seemed to animate! Hopping out of theodin's hands the bowl took of for the residential district st break neck speeds

When the ramen bowl suddenly jumped out of his hand, Theodin jerked his hand back, “What the f…!” As the bowl dashed out the door, Theo followed it, calling back to Kaori and Nova, “It’s heading for the residential district, I have no idea what’s going on, but let’s catch this stupid bowl.” He then took off down the road towards the residential district.
