Elizabeth studied the girl sitting distant from her through the glass of her rifle. Not too far of a shot to be honest. She was wearing very little in the way of clothes. But considering where she herself stayed the majority of the time, it was more than she was used to seeing. The girl looked well off which was perfect. It was what she was looking for. But something stopped her from immediately firing. She checked the road from the left to right with an imperceptibly small tilt of her head before slipping her finger into the trigger guard and face going stoic. She checked for wind in the trees behind the girl, only a slight breeze. She adjusted for that. Center of mass had a lot of bone and the hypodermic's wouldn't pierce that easily. She wasnt aiming to kill though, she had her rifle loaded with tranqs and a nice long sight line that would make escape at this point quite difficult. Granted there was a fair bit of cover, she had concealment and surprise on her side.
Her darts were a serious mix of various medicines she concocted herself and were quick acting. A localized anesthetic and powerful sedative meant for dealing with rowdy customers in the bar. But it was no real matter as she took aim. The neck would be the ideal injection site. Following that the sites would be the neck, the crook of the arm, top of the breasts, the hand, thighs, buttocks and the top of the foot. Hands and feet were out of the question, the skin there very thin and difficult to get a good hit on without ripping it entirely. Center of mass dictated she should probably aim for the womans chest. So she did, centering the girls chest canted with her sights and breathing calmly. She thumbed off the safety of her weapon and steadied her breathing with practiced ease.
The girl waited for her heart to beat softly then one muffled thump followed by another a heartbeat later, inbetween heartbeats to send the darts down range. They were aimed to deliver their payloads of sedatives into her chest, absorbing into the natural fatty material and render her unconcious. She felt a momentary pang of guilt that she quickly squelched. She would be ruining this girls lunch.
Both shots would land with light impacts, startling the girl. Her world would dissolve into a hazy pop of bubbles and euphoria as the drugs took effect. Within 30 seconds the fight would go out of the girl entirely and she would slump, unconcious to the world around her. Elizabeth would get to her feet and stow her rifle, drawing her sidearm in case of some trickery to be had. She approached her and took the girls vitals. They were strong but the girl would be out of it for at least eight hours. She leaned down and rifled through the pockets she had in what accounted for the few bits of clothes the girl wore and took her identification. Pocketing that and any other weapons the girl had into an ammunition scroll for the time being, she would pick the girl up and let her slump over one shoulder to be carried.

Kaori walked to the crossroads that lead to Takumi. She shook her head slightly as she kept pace with Nova. She probably should have sent Nova ahead to the party, but she couldn't bare to part from her at the moment. She was still to close to the knowledge of losing her brother. She couldn't help the anger that was simmering under the surface. She hurried through the crossroads to Takumi.

Kaz continued to walk along Kaori with just a tiny bit of an awkward silence. Glancing over at her he noticed she seemed to have something on her mind. He was not sure though so he didn't want to seem nosy by just prying into her thoughts.

The old familiar road spread open before him, and Masahiro smirked as he looked over the skies and the wide world before him once more. His breath caught as he let the air fill his lungs and he carried on down the path, the days ahead a blur as he took the back roads to Takumi, avoiding every path that took him any closer to any village than he needed to be for anything beyond garnering food.

It had been mid morning now the sun barely poking out to be noticeable. Why did she decide to travel so early. Sleep would have been wonderful or maybe it was a just a thought of wishful thinking for sleep. Ciri skipped along the damp road umbrella in one hand and a notepad written with things to do once she reached Takumi.
I was positively exhausted by the time I reached the crossroads. I had seldom slept for the last seven days, most of my energy and grief was spent transforming the grounds into a beautiful but empty temple. His trip to Takumi would serve multiple purposes. First off, I would finally get a chance to rest, eat and hopefully sleep. It would be a hub of information, maybe some of it would prove useful to me in my search for my family’s killers, and maybe even a hint of information of two about who lead the attack on our village some time ago. I could see the sun setting on the horizon, and just before the sun, I saw Takumi taking shape.
From the time of the gates of Takumi to the halfway point of the trip Yasu did not drop his stride nor his pace. Thankfully his armor was tight fitting and did not chafe in places he really did not want chaffing. Plus his sword was holding exactly the way he had hoped it would. Yet again he turned to Ciri to check up on her,"Hows the translation going, Ciri?" Looking back forwards he kept his eyes on the road before him.

Hard at work writing down this translation she had been more quieter than before almost to focused. Hearing her name se looked at Yasu with a dull look then looked at the few pages that been completely done She would have to remind him running and writing are two things that don't mix.
