"Ofie!" Bix stayed at the top edge of the pit, crouching. The massive amount of blood made it hard to tell who it was outside of the obvious clothes, but he had a creeping chill up his spine that he had a hunch.

He didn't exactly want to go down there. It was a friggin pit with a corpse after all. He'd be.... backup for now.

"Well?" He asked Ofie as she turned the body. "Real? Prop?"

"O-M-F-G. Exclamation point. I...think...S-U-M-1...spiked...the...catering...table. Bad...shrimp? Blondie...Bear...acting...odd. Frowny face. Rick...scary...but...amazing...in...action...scenes. Eyebrows." Katie was busy updating her Twitter and eating licorice. She was just going to wait for Paul to come down from Harrisonland. It was so weird that he was perfectly in-character everywhere except in front of the cameras.

"Di...is...super...friendly...today." Tramp. Switching to her browser, the actress went to Amazon to have a large shipment of at-home STD and drug tests sent to the other woman. "Sad... some... P-P-L...don't...know...it's...possible...2...have...planned...pregnancies. Frowny tear."

"In my defense having only worked this job for less then a month after stumbling out of a pod to greetings from Rep, my idea of strange and odd is probably horribly over inflated versus some of you guys..." He paused for a moment.

"Then again I kinda helped kill a giant worm thing today spitting acid so. Strange is. The new normal. Maybe." He glanced at H and Caelius, still not fully sure what the deal was with them, at Julie who just looked like a happy perky fan with no relation to a hunter at all. And Medea. She was pretty.

He was clueless.

"Alright then." Shuffling along with Candace he took a moment to run his fingers over his ear, the ear ring that represented Sylvia wasn't even real metal anymore, a fake plastic prop, he went to say something about it when he noticed he was looking at the ground.

At blood.

"Ummm Candace.... this... doesn't look like it belongs here...."

The word 'exit' is what chimed her out of what could be described as 'zoning out'. The spell brought on her by the words of a certain death leader, words that should never have been uttered to her.

Ever.

So she was sitting down, legs tucked in, rocking back and forth in a corner of the room for a while. Shewasnotcrazy,ok?

Standing up she made to move towards where the word 'exit' was said, more because she knew the voice whom had said it. Candace was close by, and so was Roland, Jerry, Harrison... and Rep. "Please tell me you found a clue to the way out." Or that Sigil that someone...clearly, and rather curiously, had hinted at. I mean, if all that happened to them in their world was a movie here... wouldn't the director know the future?

Or even better, control it?

Roland looked up to Ceres, then to the ground again.

"Blood"

It didn't seem to need much more then that simple comment.

Robert laughed hard when she said his name like that, and picked her up to sit her directly on his lap. Someone dropped a coffee cup behind them.

"Nope." He chuckled. "Wishful thinking, but nope. Apparently, Bubba's got himself a man. And dogs. Lots of dogs." He gave Leon a wary glance, before turning away. "My ******** trailer is coated in pictures of me and Leon all snuggles and cuddles. It's a wonder it's not coated in my own vomit as well, at this point."

He slowly pulled her closer, refusing any space between them. "Bad taste, this guy. I'm ready to make a change in his life. How about you?" He grin turned devilish. "Care to make a few tabloid headlines, Carolina?"

Just as Ofie reached for the body - all signs of it disappeared. It was gone. Not even a bloodstain remained.

For a second longer then -

- The creak of bars, cages, moving. Someone shouting, a slam, the smell of iron -

- Jarring pain as they landed next to something -

- Someone yelling at them-

- "Well?" Medea, the real Medea, looking very much like her actress self sans the make-up and glam, stood in the center of the smoke pit. "Are you proud of yourself perhaps, that you have managed to unravel this Trance? I would have thought your kind enjoyed these shallow human stories, these lives, spun on lies and deceit," She raised her hand-

- Pain, blinding pain, the smell of blood in their mouth, of something wet dribbling across their face, screeching, their skin raw and burning-

- And then the smoke pit again. "The path is yours to choose, as always. You can return to your allies, stay here, forever, or you can choose the exit. Either way, I will get what I desire, so the question is-"

Pain. Pain. Painpainpainpain someone calling them, a desperate and familiar voice that rang in their head-

"-Which path does your little human soul prefer to take?"

Madison had trailed Ofie through the door to the pit; she swore at the sight of the body. "I'll keep watch," she muttered, stepping a few feet away. She may not have Kouki, but she had learned to fight and those combat instincts would still serve her.

She hoped.

"Who is it? Can you tell?" she called back to Ofie and Bix... just before everything went to hell. The trainee shrieked in shock and pain as it seared over her, only to hear her own scream echoing as she was seemingly dropped back into the false Trance-world.

She glared at the Horsewoman, eyes blazing. "As if this wouldn't just turn into a ******** nightmare eventually. Let me out - I'll face your ******** reality. It's what we do," she spat, her heart pounding despite her bravado.

And then there was pain, beyond anything Ofelai had thought to think. she felt wet, she felt gross. Something was on her, something warm and sliding, and she could hear someone calling her name. It was a voice she knew, a voice she had been longing for.

All she could taste was blood, all she could hear was screams and metal. Her body felt like someone was peeling all her skin off, like there was nothing left of her and the heat she felt in the studio was all entirely false.

And then the voice again, calling, ever calling.

". . . Rue."

Why....why did the sound of Rue in her head bring her to peace, bring her out of the zone she felt with all the fear? They hated one another, yet needed one another. Ofelia needed Rue and, if she wasn't mistaken, Rue needed her too and that was why she was hearing her screaming now.

The pain was gone from her mouth, out of her mouth, and the voice again. Everyone around her, everyone.

Ofelia made her choice.

Things were jarring and painful. Medea was there and Bix grabbed his head a moment. That voice.

"Get me outta here!" If he could find his way out than his friends could too. There were more allies than these ones. He'd chosen to be a hunter, not some dickhole actor.

"I'm pretty sure we made our choices already.." Bix nodded to Madison after she pronounced her own desire for REALITY.

Sydney tried to spit out blood. She didn't have any in her mouth in the trance. "I'd rather die in reality," she said coldly, "then try and make nice with you in a fantasy. Send me back."

To the pain. To the suffering. But she was a hunter, being a hunter was suffering. And there was hope if she went to reality--tiny, itty bitty hope. But still hope. Here she could only wait to die.

Thankfully, Katie was ignoring both Jerry and Rep.

Harrison steered them towards a less weird part of the set. He heard a few more comments on the massive upcoming death scene.

"I'm ready to get out of this hellhole. Don't know how much more of this magic horse s**t I can take."

"Magic Horse s**t?" Jerry snorted with laughter. Perhaps it was the booze, or perhaps it twas the sheer relief of finding other people who knew he wasn't crazy- at least int he way he certainly felt he was, anyway- but he happily followed Harrison and Rep, enjoying being able to see without lenses. He beamed at Candace before hissing, "My nose isn't real." And then had to concentrate on his feet as the ex-cop pulled him along.
