The store cashier had run out a long time ago from the chaos that was happening in the drug store. Mizirani's focus instead shifted on the young rogue as she continued to approach.
"Geeeeeet himmmmmm." she hissed, as she approached quicker. At least, she was in somewhat of a state of mind to not attack Hemo.
"We can make him suffer. Tie him up, perform experiements. Get test subjects. It will alll work out. , she said right before diving at Shadow Stalker.

Coil thought for a moment, the only true option they had was to go around town draining buildings, at least until he could build enough energy to recharge himself. When Serene suggested the library Coil nodded "if it wouldn't be too much trouble..." He muttered.
Creature cringed when the spikes dug into his leg, he stumbled back and fell flat, he pulled his bloody leg up to his chest as he glared at Spike, unsure of what he would do next. Creature pushed himself away slowly, a trail of blood following behind him.

((It okaky cheese! I understands. I been kinda busy with work the past couple of days myself.))
"Umm...I very much like my limbs. Me and my limbs have been through a lot together and I would prefer keeping them all attached." Shadow Stalker said refusing to allow any fear into his voice. He then turned to Miz to listen to her continue to threaton him. However before he could say anything she dived at him. He quickly turned into a shadow so that she wouldn't actually make contact and went away from the counter and appeared ten feet away from where she was. "I'm starting to think that this heist might just be a tad bit dangerous for my health. OH and, noooooooo I don't wanna be experimented on. Experiments sound painful, and I like to try to avoid pain at all costs."

"But our food isn't even here" Phoebe raised an eyebrow and watched as 'Jack' stood, beckoning for the siblings to do the same "Honestly its not like this doesn't happen a lot in the city, if it was a villain they would have shown their face. they are like bad actors, they love to be in the spotlight"
Casting a weary glance at her brother she contemplated the options. Staying could mean placing Trent in danger and she wasn't going to do that
'One normal day.....apparently it is to much to ask'
As much as she begrudged having to leave she wasn't going to place her brother in danger. "Maybe we should go Trent...just to be safe" she didn't want him involved with the heroes at all.

After the waitress had left, he heard what Phoebe had said. Suddenly, he began to pick up the mind wave of a villain walking into the cafe. "I wouldn't leave." Vincent said, just loud enough for her to hear.

Silently, Adrian had snuck up on Shadow and placed a hand on the guy's shoulder, effectively using his blood powers to paralyze his body. "Oh if only there was some way for you to avoid this. Like maybe joining the same team as her to prevent the experimentation." Hemo said and laughed.

Serene nodded to Coil and started walking. She was not sure where they were at the moment, it would take a while before she finds a way back to the library. With these tall buildings, she knew they were still in a commercial district which is still not so far from the library. She isn't sure if she should turn back to go the other way or not. "Can you absorb some energy from the nearby buildings if you are this far from them?" She inquired Coil, if he has an ability to give out energy to VoltEdge, then he should be able to absorb them. "If you can, please give some to VoltEdge too... It'll take a while before we reach the library." She started to enter the more populated places of the district, and again, the stares. It was scary enough to see a girl with a dark blob following her. Serene hated the staring, her eye turned pitch black, giving them a cold stare, she raised a swordlike object that wasn't there a few moments ago, making them leave. She didn't want people to get in her way, while she is usually neutral with them, today is an exception. Walking past some restaurants and cafe's made her stomach growl, but she cannot stop at the moment, she'll need to get both of her friends to rest up. After that, they can enjoy all of the food, desserts, and maybe snacks. Serene smiled an innocent smile, but the dark expression and the weapon she was holding made it seem malignant in other people's eyes.

"yes, but absorbing from a distance isn't as affective as being direct" he looked around at the buildings, most of the power had been shut off in them, any energy he could feel was very subtle. Finally he spotted a building that had enough energy for him and Voltedge, he also noticed the harsh looks people gave Serene, he knew it was due to the large shadow blob they were surrounded by. Carefully he picked Voltedge up bridal style "I can carry her if you like..." He did this of course to help her out, but having the girl in his arms like this would make it easier to transfer energy to her.

"You are strong enough to walk now? Then OK, but if you're too tired tell me." Serene replied, looking around, she saw that most of lights were out from outburst of energy just a while ago. That's is why there were many people outside, though commercial districts are usually crowded anyway. She noticed Coil looking at one building that still has energy. "Let's go there." She walked up to it. "Get ready." She said as she lowered the capsule and dispelled the shadow. "Absorb from this one first, then we can continue." She waited for them to recharge. The area would have been dark if it isn't in the day. VoltEdge is incredibly strong and Serene wished that she would be strong as her too. Once things are settled, Serene would find a time to practice using her abilities and also the shadow weapon. When she looked at the unconscious VoltEdge, her reactions to those markings must have triggered her memories, when she is skilled enough Serene would find that place, and put an end to it. She then turned to look up at Coil. "Do you know where we are? If I can get an idea of where this place is we might reach the library faster."

Spike was on the floor, Creature was on the floor, and the fight has probably left both men inching closer to incapacitation at the moment. It wasn't like Spike but they were both pretty injured and running out of fuel. He panted, sitting up to look at the man who would probably not be able to do much more than limp. He edged the end of his power line and the spikes withdrew into his skin. He looked over at Creature and said, "You're pretty good, kid. Could be an asset to Barbus if you so choose to join us. But for now, how about we call it quits? ...Unless you want me to bash your skull in with my fists."
((OOC: Well, that's how it's shaping up to be =3= ))

Creature looked to the man, although he hated to admit it this was the end of the battle, and ending it on a semi good not was better then dying. He pushed himself to stand, nodding his head at the man, he turned and ran off. He wasn't going to exactly leave, he was going to make sure the man didn't cause more trouble, but he needed to get higher up first.
Coil nodded, once the capsule dispelled he immediately began draining the energy in the building. The energy was invisible to the naked eye but Coil was absorbing at a rapid rate, soon enough he and Voltedge became illuminated while the building turned completely dark. Coil made sure the girl got more charge then he did, it would help greatly. He looked around, trying to find something that indicted where they were, with no luck he shook his head "I'm sorry, I haven't been here before..." Unfortunately he had only been in the town for a short time, so he didn't know many of the streets.

"I think you are right about the villains. If they caused the building to collapse, we would certainly know. They're not exactly subtle. But, if you're worried, then we should go. I don't want you to be worried" Trent said. He then turned to Vincent after the man spoke to his sister. "Who are you?" he asked.
Andrew was drilling a tooth when the power went out. After a minute things went up and running again. "Good thing we have a backup generator" he commented, resuming the drilling.

Chrome looked up, wide-eyed at Candi. She squinted and used her hand to shield her eyes as the sun above was shining too brightly. 'Oh great! Another bimbo', she thought to herself with a hopefully unnoticeable roll of the eyes. Chrome -- What.a.hypocrite. If indeed the gesture was noticed, maybe she could detract attention to it by making it seem like something other than what she was thinking.
"Well duh! It's empty. It's a.b.a.n.d.o.ne.d.", she said with a scowl, leaning her chin on her palm and her elbows on her lap. "This is terrible! What will my beloved sweet say when he finds out I've failed to make a recruit yet again? ...Oh no! He might stop loving me! ... But don't lose faith, Chrome! True love never dies! I'll try harder." That last part was just her rambling about her own problems like a nut complete with facial expressions and fidgety, exaggerated gestures. But who was to think she was a nut and not fear the fists of Animus enough to say it?
"Such animosity and barbarism in this city, don't you think?" Chrome said, looking back up at Candi after her little monologue. She then began to reach out into the space in front of her with a dreamy gaze as though Asura really was there in front of her. "But his is the light that shines brightest in this hell hole"

Lilith just watched the entertaining rant with eyebrows raised, rather amused by how quickly this Chrome chick seemed to lose herself in her own reality. If it weren't for the consequences that would come from such an action, she would surely mock the obsessive bimbo for it. Instead, she just did her best to contort her face back into its previous well-practiced vacancy. "I didn't, like, know there was a animal city here! All I've seen are peoples and sometimes icky and sad looking doggies." Lilith wanted to shoot herself at times for managing to say something so unintelligent so naturally, but alas, it was for the greater good. Especially for herself. "But, like, I can totes see the Barbie-ism thing though. Us girls, like, work sooo hard to look as pretty as we do!" She let out a bubbly giggle, smiling ever so broadly before taking on a look that suggested that all her brain-functions ceased completely for several moments. "Uuuuh...what, like, were we talking about again?"

Phoebe tilted her head to the side as the stranger piped up, advising the trio against leaving the café.
Cautiously she looked around the café as if expecting a villain to pop up from under one of the tables with a gaudy, over the top flourish so typical of the faction members these days.
“Who are you?” Trent’s voice broke her revere and casting a weary side glance at ‘Jack’ she turned her attention once again back to the man, her hand gently wrapping around her brothers forearm.
How the boy had caught the mutter when she herself only just managed to catch it.
“Sorry but…what do you mean by ‘I wouldn’t leave?’” The older Kyle shifted nervously from foot to foot, ‘why would a complete stranger warn us about leaving…is….he threatening us?’ The grip on Trent’s arm for a fraction of a second, a silent warning; It wasn’t often someone offered advice in this city and when they did it was always best to be on your guard.

"Hand me all of your money or I'll blow this place to the ground!" A villain yelled, putting aside his trench coat. It was a newbie from Animus, so he was of little consequence to Vincent.
"He's carrying two guns, and he probably won't use his powers." Vincent told her softly after reading his mind.
