CWF Title: Elimination Chamber 2018 Winner: Matt Gennison

Jeff was rattled with the Rainmaker , flipping to the mat!

Matt would then look to put this match away, dragging Jeff by his arm and leg to center of the ring, hooking the outside leg and looking into the hard camera, as the referee would slide down to count the three count.

Jeff would try to once again dig deep and kick out at a late two count after receiving another Rainmaker!

The referee's hands would slap the mat three times, initiating the match to be at it's conclusion, as Matt would drop down Jeff's leg, leaving him incapacitated in the middle of the ring. Hitting a total of 6 Rainmakers in this match, and Jeff Hardy eating 3 of those, Jeff did put up the good fight.

Slowly, the Elimination Chamber would rise from above the ring, as the referee would reward Matt with the vacated CWF Championship, the last person holding it was the Undertaker, and now Matt Gennison.

"HERE IS YOUR WINNER AND NEEEWW.... CWF CHAMPION,
MATT GENNISON!"

with some of the fans disappointed that Jeff Hardy didn't dig deep enough for the win, Matt was still appreciated by his own fans, as he would stay in the ring and celebrate his title victory. With blood pouring down his face from the headbutt at the conclusion of the match, Matt would request a microphone,
and speak.

"I'm putting this locker room on notice.. I.. am.. your new champion.. and.. if there's anyone... in the back... who thinks..they... can..
step up... then.... heh, well, I hope you're.... not afraid... of the rain."
Matt would say, taking a deep breath in between words, from exhaustion,
as he would give the "O-K" for anyone to wanna try a make a name for themselves by stepping up.

As Gennison muttered his last words, taking a breathe after a hell of a match, the lights would dim. A song would begin, one familiar to wrestling fans, but not to CWF fans. "Blind" by Korn v2. played throughout the arena. After 10 seconds there was a pause in the song, and within a couple seconds it would pick up with a guitar riff. The lights returned, and the fans searched for an answer as to who's music this was. Pushing through the curtains, Aleks Mason walked out in front of the lights and cameras of CWF. He dawned his usual dark black suit, but something about him was different. His long blonde hair tied into a bun was a thing of history. His hair not, short, dark, rugged. Upon seeing him, fans erupted in cheers. A stone look lied upon Mason's face as he gazed down to the steel structure that had engulfed the squared circle he felt so comfortable in. The commentators were unsure what to say. Mason would strut down the ramp, still no expression available on his face. When he made it down the ramp, he stared up at the steel structure that 6 men had just left their soul in. Mason paused, before stepping up into the chamber, and thats when he made eye contact with Matt Gennison. A man he knew as Matt Allens, a man he had battles with in the past, but not here. Mason walked across the steel floor, up to the ring. He placed his hand upon the top rope, and would quickly enter the ring through the middle rope. Aleks approached the newly crowned CWF Champion. He looked his former colleague up and down, and finally his eyes met the CWF Championship belt. A slight grin grew on his face, but very slight, and it disappeared quickly. Stepping back, Mason would unbutton the jacket of his suit to reveal a championship of his own around his waist. Unbuckling the strap, Mason now held the TNWR Universal Championship in his hand. He would hold it up to the face of Gennison, and take a look at it himself. However, once he turned back to Matt, he couldn't help but stare into the title. Mason would toss aside his championship, allowing the metal plates to smack into the hard mat. To this gesture, fans ooo'd in shock. Mason continued staring at the CWF Championship, but then his eyes shifted into the eyes of the holder of the title. Without muttering a word, Mason pointed at the title, making his message very clear. He was coming for the title.

Staggering around with the championship belt in hand, and leaning against the ropes, sweat dripping along with blood and all, a familiar tune would've hit the PA system, as Matt instantly knew who it would be. Matt would fear no man, but he wasn't looking forward to any surprise attacks from someone of the likes and physique of Aleks Mason, knowing what he was capable of,
especially after a long and brutal Elimination Chamber match. Matt Gennison conquered TNW:R's Money in The Bank Ladder match, and a CWF Elimination Chamber match, and things looked as if they've gone from bad to worse..

Once Aleks Mason made his way into the ring, Matt would straighten himself out,
while holding onto his ribs, taking a fair amount of damage in this match. Shocked at Aleks Mason revealing the TNW:R Universal Championship and then throwing it down onto the ground moments later, noticing he began to eye-rape Matt's CWF Championship, Matt wouldn't say anything further. He already said what he had to. He would then hold up in the air with his right hand, staring into the soul of Aleks Mason, seeing that he was the one to step up.

Mason stared up at the CWF Championship being held into the air. He nodded his head gently, before stepping back. Aleks would grab his defaced TNW:R Universal Championship, and exit the ring. He would walk up the ramp to leave, dragging the Universal Championship behind, allowing fans to digest what they had just seen for themselves.

Out of breath and relieved that there was no physical altercation, Matt would watch Aleks Mason take his leave.. as the fans would've all been on their feet with a surprised look on their face, as no words would've had to be uttered that Matt's first title defense would be against the very so dangerous, Aleks Mason.
