"He opened his eyes but he was still mentally stuck in sleep. His brain is healed and functioning normally, so we think there might be a different problem involved since his awakening process is rather unusual. Being the closest to him, we wanted to ask you a few questions in regards to his health. Does he have a special diet or previous head trauma or spinal injuries?" The doctor asked.

"That's alright. Business is business. How much do you want for it?", Monica said, going straight to the point. She wasn't about to tell Shadow about the real contents of the box anytime soon. After all, even she wasn't sure herself but her speculation was that some very important things were in it. Even she hadn't seen its contents, after all.

"How about $300? I was thinking it would take a lot longer then it did and it went pretty smooth. But it still took me several hours of gofer work and quite a bit of gas. Sound fair?" Shadow asked.

"Well, he's a vegetarian, but other than that he doesn't have a special diet" Damien said, he then thought. "I don't think he had any serious injuries" he thought out loud. He then remembered something. "Oh, actually I think back when were both still in high school he told me he once fell off a horse when he was like 12 or something" Damien said. He had forgotten about that.

"Alright. We'll start running tests then." The doctor replied.

Damien nodded. "Do what you must" he said. He then looked over at Jian, then sighed. "I guess there's no point in even trying to speak to him again, is there?" he asked.

"You can if you wish." The doctor replied. "Hopefully we can get this remedied soon."

"I suppose I could at least try" Damien said, then walked over to where Jian was. "Hello, again" he said.

Jian twitched a little, but said nothing.

"Can you hear me?" Damien asked, and placed a white gloved hand on one of Jian's.

"y...es..." He muttered, sounding exhausted.

"You still trying?" Damien asked. He wondered if in fact, Jian was trying to not wake up.

"Y...es..." He replied, gripping at the table once again and breaking into a cold sweat.

"Please, don't push yourself." The doctor told Jian. "Take your time or you'll hurt yourself."
