"He's waking up..."

"Good."

"Agh! My head... Where am I?" Leon mumbled as he finally began to regain conciousness, although his vision was still blurry he could make out the two figures standing just ahead of him. "What's going on?"

"Don't worry you won't remember a thing when we're done." Blaze injected a strange glowing orange liquid into Leon's arm. "We're just going to run a few tests then you are free to go."

"You know, that girl put up one hell of a fight to stop us from taking you." Strife said while tapping on a keyboard which brought up Leon's vital signs on a huge screen.

Leon shook his head. A girl? Was I with someone? No... He focused his eyes on the man that had injected him. "What girl? I wasn't with a girl..."

"I didn't catch her name... But she had some impressive magical abilities though." Blaze replied grinning as he looked at Leon and tilted his head. "Has it taken effect yet?"

"Yes." Strife said typing on a second computer. "The test is ready... Take him in there. Sorry boy but we need this information."

Sage walked into town and sat on a bus bench. One rolled up in a few minutes and Sage and Kae walked in. Her expression was deppresed so no one said anything about the bird, not wanting to upset her anymore.
The bus stopped at the corner of where the hotel was at. She silently walked to the hotel and to her hotel room. There was no one in her room, which meant that the man must have left.
When I said don't move that was exactly what I meant She thought.
Sage collapsed on the bed and Kae rested on the pillow next to her.

Leon was taken to a large room and untied quickly the man had left the room closing what seemed to be a nuclear blast door behind him. Leon sat up finally regaining his senses and balance, he looked around the room it was huge and empty a fake desert like terrain had been made along the ground and the ceiling seemed to have been painted to mimic being outside. "Well? What am I supposed to do?" He called out walking through the room towards the center of it.

"You are about to be attacked by a state of the art artificially intellegent killing machine. It's been design by a... Rival group of ours that specialises in hunting anyone who isn't human. You merely need to destroy it to complete this phase of the test."

Leon listened to the words spoken over the intercom system. "Wait, why am I fighting this thing?" He called out as the panic began to set in. A rumble shook the ground for a few moments as out of the sand appeared an odd looking robot, it's legs were reverse joints the arms were merely a set of powerful looking cannons and it's body looked to be heavily armoured. "Smeg!"

"Do you think he can do it?" Blaze asked his brother while watching Leon on the monitor screen.

"If he allows the demon part of his conciousness to be released, I have no doubt he can win. We need his demon side to fully take control or this will all have been for nothing." Strife replied with anticipation.

Ebony made a small noise as Sage thanked her. She collapsed on the ground, not from the power Sage used, no, it took more than that. It was from the power transfer. She tried to sit up but fell back, cursing the very idea of shared power.

Arias snorted and gently bit down on Ebony's shirt collar. She lifted her up and turned to set her down on her back. Arias walked out of the bushes, feeling the spell fade.
Why didn't I help? It was as if I was frozen in place. Well, those twins were a nasty sight.
Alec jumped off her back gracefully and walked toward the path that Sage had tooken.
"Well, let's go find Sage."
Why?
"I have some questions for her. I would also like to apologize to her owl, Kae. I have the feeling that we will need to get off our bad terms with them."
Arias grunted, Ok, whatever. If you think so, we will go. But if she does anything to piss me off, I'm not apologizing.
Alec nodded and took off. It wasn't hard for Arias to follow Sage's scent. She had a certain smell that was potent and easy to find in a crowd. Arias shifted to human and pulled on the jacket that Alec had took with them from the warehouse. Luckily the jacket was too big on her and it went to her knees. Alec picked Ebony up in his arms as they wandered the streets. Soon enough they ended up at a hotel. Arias walked in and asked the clerk about Sage.
"Oh, you mean the girl with the owl? She is in this room." he handed her a piece of paper with a number.
Arias, Ebony, and Alec stepped into the elevator and rode it to the 4th floor. They walked all the way down the hallway and stopped at the door that matched the number on the paper. Arias knocked on the door.
"Sage? It's me, Arias. I know we got off at a bad start, but Ebony is with me and we need to talk with you."

When Reed woke up, he felt much better, although a little thirsty. He took a drink and checked the time, it was still early. Reed exited and rode his bike along the outskirts of the town. He saw three people appear from thin air about a mile from the forest and get into a car. One of them seemed to be unconcious, it could have just been a group of buddies who went drinking but Reed decided to follow them.

They arrived at some sort of building and Reed hid his bike and followed them. He wrote some runes in the air and turned invisible, silent, and scentless. Reed followed the trio in and watched them inject some strange orange liquid into the unconcious one's arm. "Definitely not drinking buddies," although there was no way the twins could see or hear him, he was still a little uncomfortable speaking so near them. They put the now concious demon in a room and had him fight some sort of combat robot. "I think this has gone far enough," Reed wrote another seal and all the electricity in the building was cut.

Sage woke up to a knock on the door.She leaned against the wall for support and slowly made her way to the door.
She saw Arias with a guy next to her.
"Uh, hello Arias." She said sleepily. "Please come inside." Sage used her free hand to guide Arias inside.
Sage sat on the bed across from the two chairs in the corner. "Why may I ask are you visiting?"

Deston opened his eyes at the muffled sound of the next door over slamming shut, feeling strangely groggy for some odd reason. He glanced over at the bedside clock, finding that a few hours had passed. The demon sat up, blinking a bit as the idea that he'd fallen asleep fully set in. Well, it did make some sort of sense...he guessed. Deston got up from the bed once the grogginess had fully dissipated and wandered to the bathroom, running the water in the sink and splashing some of the cool liquid against his face. He glanced at the mirror long enough to see the familiar blue-gray color of his eyes before exiting the diminutive washroom with an overly loud overhead fan. He headed out of his room and knocked on the door that was Reed's, only to find that no one answered. Well, the demon had actually thought to check on the boy, since he'd been feeling ill earlier but his assumed absence told him that the lad was probably just fine. So much for that. Deston wandered back into his room, shut off the television and changed into a fresh shirt before leaving once more. It would probably be wise to find food of some sort, he hadn't eaten since he'd first boarded that bus.

"Um, I-I think you can put me down now." Ebony said, her cheeks practically on fire with embarrassment.Ebony had only dated one guy, mostly because the first guy she dated somehow found out about her power, and in the end tried to 'scientifically' steal them. Ever since she was always embarrassed when a guy even touched her.

Leon backed away from the robot and was now pressed up against the wall, suddenly the lights shut off and the room went pitch black. "Oh you can't be serious! You expect me to fight it in the dark?" He yelled out quickly moving along the wall. He noted that there was no response from his captors and grunted slightly, he could hear the heavy steps from the robot on the sandy ground as it moved. "Am I just a bad luck magnet or something?"

Blaze spun round to face Strife as the lights suddenly went out. "What happened?" He asked quickly.

Strife had begun trying to turn the power back on with their emergency generator. "I don't know, the power has completely gone."

"The boy?" Blaze questioned his brother.

"No. The scanners weren't picking anything up from him before it happened. I'm thinking we have a guest." Came Strife's hastey reply as he continued to fiddle with the generator.

Reed approached two large, metal doors. "Blast doors," he muttered to himself. He wrote another rune, Unseal, onto the door and it opened. Next, he wrote two runes, Reinforce, eyes and his night vision improved drastically. Still, invisible, the robot could not see him and Reed snuck up behind it. He wrote two runes, Reverse, on each of the thing's legs and theyent the other direction, snapping and causing the robot to collapse. Reed released his sound barrier and said to the demon, "C'mon, let's get out of here," He set up his sound barrier once more and turned off his night vision in case the two in the other room decided to turn on the backup power.

Kashi walked into a hotel munching on the last bit of fries when she over heard a group of employees talking about a strange girl and boy, both with white hair. she walks over to the group. "whatcha talking about?" she tilts her head slightly to the left.

"some chick and a guy with another chick went just upstairs."

"really? what room?"

the employee wrote the room number on a sheet of paper and hands it to Kashi, then she nods to the person and gets in the elevator and gets out on the fourth floor. she walks down the hall and stops at the door # that is written on the paper and flings the door open.

Arias head jerked toward the door. A girl with short ash-blond hair stood in the doorway. She looked almost bored but had a curious expression plain on her face. Alec slowly turned his head to look with that same laid-back look. He looked her up and down lazily and then turned to look back at Arias. There was a pause, and then his eyes suddenly widened and he jerked back to look at her again. He had been leaning against the wall and suddenly he began to slide off. His eyes looked like they were going to pop out of his head.
"W-who is that?!"
Arias shrugged.
Alec quickly regained his composure and walked towards her with a flirtatious and onry look on his face. Arias sighed.
"Why hello there, beautiful. Where have you been all my life?"

Sage raised an eyebrow at the two, but watched them quietly.

Kashi giggles a little, "busy... the name is Kashi." she wipes the grease off of her fingers and then holds her hand out. "so what is your name hansome?" she tilts her head slightly with a coy smile on her lips, and her fox ears twitch a little.
