XXXXX Ibara floating safely above all the action watched his Oinin defend himself against the barage. The defense was quite effective but not one hundred percent effective. A majority of Ibara's clones got tangled in the web of trees instantly dispersing and their rasengan petering out as they vanished. About 6 or so found their way through slamming into the wooden dome. The wood would splinter and creak under the massive pressure of the multiple rasengan but would hold, at first at least. After a few moments a small crack formed on the other side of the wood which rapidly grew into a hole large enough for Ibara to see Jurei through. Wasting no action and completely disregarding the clones Ibara began forming hand seals and took a deep breath. This would be much quicker than any of the previous katon jutsu.

XXXXX First came clouds. Clouds? Yes clouds, he had formed a low pressure system around himself forming clouds that would also produce light headedness and much more nasty effects. As He continued blazing through the hand seals he stopped locking in the last one. Before exhaling a huge chakra bullet strong enough to penetrate even stone buildings moving incredibly quickly toward Jurei's dome and the hole that had been formed in it.

Jurei shook about inside the safety of his wooden dome as the barrage continued. Looking through the punched hole in the dome he had one option, the substitution with the clone that was left outside. Moments before the bullet made contact Jurei swapped positions with his clone outside the dome and watched as it shattered apart from the force. Despite his light headed feeling setting in he had to find a way to launch a decent counter attack. He formed a string of hand signs, Ibara had been sitting still for far too long. As he thrust his arm forward large tree roots rushed toward the Kage, either to penetrate or capture him, but regardless staying seated was out of the question.

XXXXX Ibara watched the substitution take place, Jurei was indeed skilled. With a smile he dodged the first few of the wooden roots that came hurling at him with ease. The benefit of being airborne was that he didn't have obsticles or friction to get in his way he could simply glide around. Getting bored of dodging he kept moving slipping around the roots as they hurled past him and formed hand seals. Selectively forgetting about the no S-Rank jutsu rule he had enacted before the spar Ibara raised a hand to waist level. Small fire balls would float lazily away from his hand as he danced around the roots dodging them. As the final few fire balls came out there were hundreds of them floating lazily around drifting and licking at the breeze above the ground. Ibara smiled as the fireballs grew demon faces that seemed to grimace in an evil fashion at Jurei.

XXXXX With a simple flick of the wrist Ibara pointed a finger at Jurei and the hundreds of fireballs dashed toward him. It would be extremely difficult for Jurei to dodge these given they were coming from all sorts of angles and each time one impacted something it gave off a giant explosion of fire and destruction. "Oops." Ibara giggled as he slowly sank back down toward the earth landing softly on his toes. Once landed Ibara began forming more hand seals, he inteded to let Jurei have no time to react and remain on the defensive. An opponent on the defensive was much easier to deal with than one on the offensive, and for that Ibara was thankful he got the upper hand early in this bout.

XXXXX Ibara retrieved a scroll from his pouch and laid it out in front of him and finished the hand seal biting his thumb and slamming it down on the piece of paper. A seal formed around his hand and a massive puff of smoke formed. As the smoke cleared a massive dog, not as large as the one he had summoned previously appeared from the smoke, first a silhouette then a large dog with flaming fur on its back and legs appeared. "Ahhiibaralongtimenosee." the dog said rapidly without pause or any sort of puncuation at all. "Whowefightingwegoingtoplay?yeahyeah" The dog was hyper to say the least and would be a wonderful test for Jurei. Ibara leaped into the air and landed on the dogs head. "We're just sparing go easy on him Kaen," Kaen let out a bark of approval and got himself ready for anything Jurei would counter with.

Jurei watched as the multitude of fireballs began to grow in number. It seemed Ibara had broken his own rule, this definitely wasn't within the bounds of the terms they set previously. He watched as he landed and started forming signs, he intended to keep Jurei on the defensive but he wasn't about to let that happen. He clapped his hands together and a massive torrent of water was pulled from the air forming a titanic tidal wave that collided with the balls of fire.

As it effectively flooded the training grounds, Jurei stood a top the water and began signing. Upon his completion a large dragon formed from the standing water began to rush towards Ibara and his new summon. It would be interesting to see how a dog would fight in water 10 feet deep.

XXXXX Kaen picked up one of his paws as the water splashed down upon his toes. "Puddles!" he yipped and did a quick circle as if he were excited. Ibara not quite used to riding atop the spastic dog tottered momentarily before steadying himself. "Having fun already Kaen?" Ibara spoke. "We haven't even started yet." Kaen yipped in response and watched the dragon of water come hurling toward him. Kaen inhaled deeply his chest expanding impossibly large before he spat out several large. No, massive fire balls at the dragon. Each one punching through the dragon creating huge pockets of steam in the air before slamming down to the ground creating fires all over the grounds.

XXXXX Ibara watched as Kaen dispatched the water dragon with ease. Ibara felt he was running out of energy he'd have to do something big, to end this. Not to mention his body was aching from all the fighting. He closed his eyes and sat for a moment on Kaen's head. "So tired..." he mumbled. Slowly he got back up on one knee grabbing some of Kaen's hair as he did so to keep himself from toppling and stood. "Jurei, we're going to have to call this soon." He tottered slightly as the hokage stood. He looked physically exhausted he had used most of his chakra in this bout. He would end this with Kaen in a combined effort. "Kaen, thank you, you can return now.." he spoke softly to the canine beneath his feet. "go home already?" Kaen boomed as stopped moving under Ibara's feet. "Yes, this spar is over." Ibara spoke to Kaen before looking down to Jurei and leaping off the large dog's head. "Jurei, we're done." Ibara could feel his exhaustion. Neither of them were getting anywhere with this spar and he already had used one too many S-Rank techniques for this spar, had it been a serious fight he had multiple other things he could do, but in the end he did not want to hurt Jurei. As Ibara stood there his eyes twirled momentairly to the sharingan reflecting his fatigue a second tomoe appeared, spurred on by the duress that the entirety of the spar had put Ibara under. Without the chakra to sustain the eye the eye quickly reverted back to normal and Ibara collapsed to one knee. "I can hardly move.." he muttered. Kaen looked down at him with some worry before returning to the sage lands in a cloud of smoke.

Jurei breathed heavily for a short time as he shook his head. It seemed Ibara exhausted himself a bit. Shaking his head in agreement he released the water in the area and rushed over when he saw Ibara take to a knee. "Whoa now." he said kneeling next to him. "Are you gonna be alright getting back to the office? I'll gladly lend a hand." he said his soft smile still present despite the fact he was a little winded himself. Ibara proved to be quite the challenge.

XXXXX Ibara nodded silently. Then spoke as he stood. "Yes I'll be fine getting back to the office, although I think I may head to the academy to relax and read up on a few things." Ibara smiled back at the senju before adding. "You did wonderful." Ibara punched Jurei in the arm softly before making his way out of the sparring area and through a small alley that lead to a major road eventually. "If you need me go speak to my clone in the office, he'll contact me." Ibara waved over is shoulder as he walked away from the exhausting battle that had just occurred feeling better about the safety of the village knowing a few of his shinobi were talented.

__________Akane made it to the Sparring Grounds, where she would begin her search for stranded Ninja tools. The area itself was scarred with fresh burns, and uprooted trees, and such. It would seem some kind of spar ensued here some time earlier. She wondered who, or what was here causing the damage [1]. It was none of her business, however, and it was time for her to focus on the task at hand. Other than the bag slung around her shoulder, which contained items for a special event she did every year - for the past eight years. She had an empty bag that she could collect the Ninja tools in to give to the Hokage. Walking around, she spotted a few shimmering pieces of metal to her right. Once she came closer to them, she knew what kind of Ninja tool these were. Kunai. A very useful tool, but also contained valuable metals which could be reused for a weapon. Gathering them up, she put them in the empty bag and continued her search [2]. After a few minutes of walking around, Akane was able to collect quite a quantity of stranded Ninja tools. Her bag was nearly full, so it would be time to head back soon. She started walking towards the exit, where she stumbled upon a few more tools along the way. Shuriken, Kunai, and even a few knives, all of a different variety, and she managed to collect them all. She was sure there were more hanging about somewhere out here, but she had enough to at least call this mission a success [3].

Bjorn walked into the sparring grounds and looked around, searching for projectiles to collect. He walked around picking up the tools in one corner of the area until it seemed like he had them all in a big bag. He then looked around for more. (1/3)

Spotting more stuff, Bjorn walked to another corner and began gathering them up. He and Grym walked all over this part of the area bent over to search for tools. When he thought he had them all, Grym grunted and motioned for more across the room. (2/3)

On the other side of the area there were a bunch more projectiles to collect. The two partners paced around, staring at the floor as they picked up the kunai and shuriken. When they thought they had them all the looked around to check. When they were sure, they left the area. (3/3)

The Stage is Set!

XXXXXA large stadium dominates the area. Outside the stadium a large crowd excited begins to pour into the stadium to witness the day's festivities. Any of the participants could hear it no matter where they are in the stadium. The Hokage dressed in his full ceremonial garbs is perched high above the sparring ground and is easily visible from anywhere inside the stadium where he stands looking down over the stadium. The Hokage stands where he is and waits silently for the contestants and spectators to finish filing into the stadium.

━━Katsuya appeared outside the sparring grounds, having shunshin'd there. He was behind a tree, headband taken off and shoved in his pocket. The boy had... a bit of an idea on how he could get an early jump on his opponent. He is an assassin and a shinobi after all. Being deceitful is what he's good at.

━━Katsuya's lightning clone entered the sparring grounds and moved to stand beside his new friend who he had met at the academy Bjorn. Five minutes later the real Katsuya moved with a large crowd of people into the stands. Getting a clone to fight first so he could gain some information felt like the best idea to him at the moment. Being among thousands of villagers, there was no way anyone would spot him. Especially considering his proficiency in stealth and espionage.

• Elemental Specialist: You are only able to have one (1) chosen chakra element. Your elemental ninjutsu possess greater power, allowing them to overwhelm techniques of the same element and rank, and preventing them from succumbing to elemental weaknesses. You begin with two (2) additional ninjutsu slots, and earn an additional three (3) ninjutsu slots whenever you rank up.
• Mystic Hero: The user is much like a hybrid warrior, focusing on mixing ninjutsu into their personal arsenal. Through their great devotion to this path the user can cast ninjutsu without hand seals while wielding a weapon, D at gennin, C at chunnin, B at Jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin. These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use, as well as require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. The user’s spirit is so strong, that they can utilize their physical bukijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below.
• Raiton Prodigy: Raiton techniques have their strength greatly increased, overwhelming all techniques one rank above the one he used. All except fuuton techniques, although he can overwhelm ones of the same rank. This dedication to Raiton techniques however leaves his Maruton neglected, making those techniques cost an additional ten chakra.
• Godspeed: Moderate increase to speed.
• Espionage: As the heir to the Azuma clan Katsuya's abilities in stealth are unmatched, even allowing him to go as far as to completely erase his presence and any killer intent coming off of him. His abilities in this are so proficient that he can go unnoticed even by those up to a rank above his own.
