Kadira is a bit of a quiet type at the moment. She is young and doesn't one hundred percent understand the world around her. She has been thrust into a lifestyle she was not born into and while she is grateful for the mares who are raising her often has too many questions about things no one knows of. While she preforms her warrior training without complaint Kadira knows that her heart isn't truly in it, she wants to be able to find her own place in this world but doesn't quite know where to start, nor does she have the courage to find it yet.

Having been abandoned as a basket, though quite unwillingly on her father's behalf, Kadira's future was quite uncertain until Penthesilea came along and found the basket tucked under a bush. The winged mare stood and watched as the foal emerged and then offered to raise the girl within her herd. Kadira not only accepted this but also chose to allow Penthesilea to pick her name. And so she was dubbed Kadira Nym, a name chosen by both Penthesilea and her sister Yakut. But the offer to be raised by the mares was no as simple as Kadira first thought, for these were warrior types and expected the same out of her for as long as she stays with them. Kadira has agreed to train with them to be a warrior and uphold the ways of the herd, but she does often feel like the odd one out among the many mares, especially since she doesn't have a lot of skill or love for the warrior ways.

Though she is still young Kadira thinks often on the parents she doesn't know. Her curiosity hadn't caused her to run away yet but she does want to know who her parents were and why they aren't raising her. These unfortunately are questions Penthesilea can't answer and thus does not allow Kadira to speak of her lost family. Kadira has vowed to herself to one day find her parents and ask them why they weren't around but for now she sticks close to Penthesilea grateful that the mare gave her a chance at a fairly stable life, even if it is a tough road to follow.
