The Twelve Signs: Medieval Zodiac RP (O/A)

Reacting to the scream Kyo withdrew his blade giving a look to the princess as he ran behind her. He stopped as she backed away from the crowd of people finally getting a good look at the reason behind it. On the ground the crown prince lay dead a pool of blood around his body and a single wound in his chest above his heart. His fears were now coming to life and the feeling he had was showing itself. Looking up at the princess starting to run towards her corridor Kyo rushed after her his blade held to his side as he ran behind her catching up easily.

Shano twisted the plants, they were moving around forming shapes of animals and places she have visited. The process was disrupted when she heard a scream, she realized that she was already running along the corridors. She saw the guy with fire abilities running somewhere and a crowd gathering around something, her instincts got her, she pushed them aside to find the crown prince stabbed, in the heart. She ran up to him trying to assess the situation, the weapon was not there, meaning that the prince has but a few minutes left to live. She checked his pulse and his breathing, only to find that there was none. She looked up to the nobles gathering around her, some of them knew the crown prince. She shooked her head to them, telling them that it was too late. She quickly took off and ran the way the fire guy has left. He was trying to catch something and Shano will help him.

The boy was proving himself well trained in the use of his blade, or was it part of his powers. It mattered little to Jace. He would need some way to escape, otherwise more soldiers than he could handle would show up. With that in mind, Jace was actively trying to cripple the boy to help in his escape.  

[Asterodea]

Shano saw the fire guy using his flame sword against a hooded person. She picked a few pebbles out of her pocket, and made them spin around her, getting quicker each spin. Though she was never good in using swords and other weapons, the things she prided herself on besides being a herbalist is how she never misses when using rock slings. With a little help of her abilities and a little bit of training, she was able to control the pebbles freely. She was trying to find an opening where she would hit the rogue, not the fire guy. Some of the pebbles were in her hand, while some were spinning around her. The ones in her hands will be used by the rock slinger in case she misses. She sent the floating pebbles at the rogue's foot, head, and hands. Then she shoots another one from the rock slinger, aiming for the blade.

“Playing with fire is bad for those who burn themselves.”

Curious about the earlier scream, Alessandra goes to investigate. She manages to catch a glimpse of the princes body, but the swarms of guards now in the ballroom made it impossible to learn any more so she leaves the room. She can hear the faint sounds of a fight and, once again curious, goes towards it.

Jezebel silently pursues the princess and her guard as they head back to the tower. While this was not an ideal situation, the princes murder would hopefully keep the majority of the guards elsewhere.

“I'll open the door
To Heaven or Hell.”

Arlyn paid no heed to the fact that Kyo had caught up to her. She simply ran all the way back to her chambers, not even closing the door when she reached them, throwing herself onto her bed and sobbing.

Jace felt himself being struck and noticed a newcomer, who seemed to have power over the earth and stones. How many more of these people are there?! The assassin thought as he dodged another slash from Leon. "Well, I suppose I have no other options." Jace said coldly and sighed, he hated having to rely on his abilities, but he might as well use them if they were going to prove useful. Jumping back, Jace raised his hand and the moisture in the air began to respond to him, blanketing the area in a thick fog. The toll on Jace would be worth it if he was able to escape.

"What the hell?!" Leon shouted as mist began to form, obscuring his vision and hiding the assassin. "Now that's just dirty!" Leon growled, preparing himself should the man try and attack him.  

[Asterodea]

"Calm down!" Shano shouted to the fire guy in the fog after hearing him. She've lived in the mountains before, or actually, four days ago. The fog would make it an amazing sight if one is to wake up fast enough to see it, the vast sea of fog would stretch throughout the mountains, clouding the land below. Shano cannot imagine it being used up against her right now, also the fact that with a simple gesture, the assassin would summon a fog out of nowhere. He could be a person who has abilities, but then, he doesn't looks so friendly, and since he can sneak in to kill the crown prince swiftly but not so soundedly, stabbing him in the heart. Shano will need to be careful, using her head instead of her emotions this time, hopefully the fire guy can cool down a bit. Shano tensed up, listening to the sounds around her and sensing for a movement in the fog.

Rather than stick around, Jace chose to flee as soon as the attacks stopped coming. He chose to spare the two who had chased after him and sighed. He had hoped to get out before anyone noticed, but perhaps that had been what drew them to him.

Following the two up the tower, Jezebel caught a glimpse of the guard standing at the princesses doorway and back tracks a bit to think. She glances around and notices a window, quickly and quietly opening it to climb out and begin the dangerous climb to the princesses window.

“I'll open the door
To Heaven or Hell.”

The mist soon cleared and Leon could see the assassin had disappeared. "Fuuuuuuuuuck!" He groaned and let his fire disappear. Well, he hadn't been able to stop the guy, but he hoped that he wouldn't be killing anyone else. Then Free ran up and saw him and Leon could swear the man sighed in relief.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys

Moving into the room Kyo looked towards the princess. He honestly had no clue how he should be comforting the princess so he kept his distance until she wanted him close. He wanted to go hold her close tho as his place was and the current situation being like it was he was not sure should that be the best idea.

Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

 

[Asterodea]

Shano sighed. "You know... I thought I swear most of the times, but I'll need to think again." She looked at the fire guy. The stones that was shot flew back into Shano's hands, the reason they were so polished and round, was because they always go back to their place. Distinguishing them from normal stones was easy enough, all she needed is to manipulate it back into her hands. Seeing that there was someone moving up to him, she sees no reason to stay there any further. She started walking back to the hall, without much of a goodbye either.

((OOC: soooo sorry! life got in the way and i just got caught up... a lot's been happening since last posted (obviously)))

Alura had been occupied by several people, still keeping a watch when everything went wrong. At first, she thought that the scream was Shano but upon arriving saw that the crown prince had been stabbed and Shano was off chasing after someone. She had thought about chasing after Shano to protect her but when she saw that there was no one else chasing after the younger girl, she stayed where she was until she couldn't take the drama that was unfolding. Sure, there had been assassination but some of the guests were making a scene of it. To get away from it, she stood out near the edge of the ballroom where the garden was and waited for Shano to come back.
"Please don't let anything have happened to her," she whispered to herself. She knew the girl would be telling her about what had happened both before and after the assassination.

When Shano reached the place where the corpse was, she saw Alura and quickly ran up to her. "Alura! You missed so many things, where were you?" Finding out that the corpse was still there. "Wait a minute and I'll tell you everything." She went up to one of the weeping nobles asking them to call a guard or soldier, not a doctor, they weeped even more harder, asking for her to do something, she shooked her head sympathetically. People usually bring the sick up to her when their condition is critical, breaking the news that they are dead, or will be, is something she was familiar with. Shano ran back to Alura after the corpse was taken away, and after gasping for some air, began to tell the story. "Alura, we're not the only ones who have abilities! There are others too, the princess, there was also another fire guy! The princess also told me that there are others besides her, isn't it great? We're not alone!" She gave her a smile as she dragged her to the courtyard where she had a conversation with the princess earlier. "No one should her us here." Shano's voice turned much more serious. "The assasin escaped, I followed him along with the fire guy, the assassin has abilities too." She sat on the stone where the princess sat on a couple of minutes ago, staring at the wilting plants that Shano made them wilt on purpose. "I guess bad people can also have abilities..."
